$ALEF Blaženi oni kojih je put neokaljan, koji hode po Zakonu Jahvinu!

ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.

Blaženi oni koji čuvaju propise njegove, čitavim srcem njega traže;

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

koji ne čine bezakonje, već hode putovima njegovim.

They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

Naredbe si svoje dao da se brižno čuvaju.

Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

O, kad bi čvrsti bili putovi moji da tvoja čuvam pravila!

O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

Neću se postidjeti tada kad budem pazio na zapovijedi tvoje.

Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

Slavit ću te u čestitosti srca kad naučim sudove pravde tvoje.

I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

Tvoja ću pravila čuvati: ne zapusti me nikada! $BET

I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

Kako će mladić čistim sačuvati put svoj? Čuvajući riječi tvoje.

BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

Svim srcem svojim tebe tražim; ne daj da zastranim od zapovijedi tvojih.

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

U srce pohranih riječ tvoju da protiv tebe ne sagriješim.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Blagoslovljen si, o Jahve, nauči me svojim pravilima.

Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

Usnama svojim navješćujem sudove usta tvojih.

With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

Putu se propisa tvojih radujem više no svemu bogatstvu.

I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

Razmišljat ću o naredbama tvojim i putove ću tvoje razmatrat'.

I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

Uživat ću u pravilima tvojim, riječi tvojih neću zaboravit'. $GIMEL

I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Milostiv budi meni, sluzi svojem, da živim i tvoje riječi čuvam.

GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.

Otvori oči moje da gledam divote tvoga Zakona!

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Ja sam došljak na zemlji, zapovijedi svoje nemoj od mene skrivati!

I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

Duša mi gine u svako doba žudeći za tvojim odlukama.

My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.

Oholima ti si zaprijetio: prokleti koji odstupaju od zapovijedi tvojih.

Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

Uzmi s mene rug i sramotu, jer tvoje ja čuvam propise.

Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

Pa nek' se sastaju knezovi i proti meni govore, tvoj sluga razmišlja o pravilima tvojim.

Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

Jer tvoja su svjedočanstva uživanje moje, tvoja su pravila moji savjetnici. $DALET

Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.

Moja duša leži u prašini: po riječi svojoj vrati mi život.

DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.

Kazivao sam ti svoje putove i ti si me čuo: pravilima me svojim nauči.

I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.

Pokaži mi put odredaba svojih i o čudesima ću tvojim razmišljat'.

Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

Suze roni duša moja od žalosti: po riječi svojoj ti me podigni!

My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.

Daleko me drži od puta zablude i Zakonom me svojim obdari!

Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.

Put istine ja sam odabrao, pred oči sam stavio odluke tvoje.

I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.

Uz propise tvoje ja čvrsto prianjam, o Jahve, nemoj me postidjeti!

I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.

Ja kročim putem zapovijedi tvojih jer si mi prosvijetlio srce. $HE

I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

Pokaži mi, Jahve, stazu pravila svojih i ja ću je čuvati do kraja.

HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

Pouči me da se tvoga držim Zakona i čuvat ću ga svim srcem.

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

Uputi me stazom svojih zapovijedi, jer ja u njoj uživam.

Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

Prikloni mi srce propisima svojim, a ne k pohlepi!

Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

Odvrati moje oči da ne vide ništavost, život mi čuvaj na putu svojemu!

Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.

Ispuni svom sluzi obećanje koje si onima dao što te se boje.

Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.

Ukloni sramotu od koje strahujem, jer divni su tvoji sudovi.

Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.

Evo, čeznem za naredbama tvojim: pravdom me svojom poživi. $VAU

Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

Nek' milost tvoja, o Jahve, dođe na mene i spasenje tvoje po tvom obećanju.

VAU. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.

Odgovorit ću onima koji me ruže, jer se uzdam u riječ tvoju.

So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.

Od mojih usta ne oduzmi riječ istine, jer se uzdam u sudove tvoje.

And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

Tvoj ću Zakon čuvati uvijek i dovijeka.

So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

Hodit ću putem prostranim, jer naredbe tvoje istražujem.

And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

Pred kraljevima o tvojim ću propisima govorit' i zbunit' se neću.

I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

U zapovijedima tvojim moja je naslada jer ih ljubim.

And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

Prema zapovijedima tvojim ja podižem ruke i o tvojim odredbama razmišljam. $ZAJIN

My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

Spomeni se svoje riječi sluzi svojem kojom si mi dao nadu.

ZAIN. Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

U nevolji sva mi je utjeha što mi život čuva riječ tvoja.

This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

Oholice me napadaju žestoko, ali ja od tvog Zakona ne odstupam.

The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.

Sjećam se, o Jahve, davnih sudova tvojih i to me tješi.

I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.

Bijes me hvata zbog grešnika koji tvoj Zakon napuštaju.

Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

Tvoje su mi naredbe pjesma u zemlji kojom putujem.

Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

Noću se spominjem, Jahve, imena tvojega i tvoj čuvam Zakon.

I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.

Evo što je želja moja: čuvati tvoje odredbe. $HET

This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

Dio je moj, o Jahve - rekoh - da tvoje čuvam riječi.

CHETH. Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.

Svim srcem lice tvoje ganuti hoću: smiluj mi se po svom obećanju.

I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.

Promislio sam putove svoje i k tvojem sam svjedočanstvu upravio noge.

I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

Hitam i ne oklijevam da zapovijedi tvoje čuvam.

I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.

Opletoše me užeta grešnika, ali tvoga Zakona ja ne zaboravljam.

The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.

U ponoći ustajem da te slavim zbog pravednih tvojih odluka.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

Prijatelj sam svima koji te se boje i koji tvoje čuvaju naredbe.

I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

Dobrote tvoje, Jahve, puna je zemlja; nauči me odredbama svojim. $TET

The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.

Učinio si dobro svom sluzi, Jahve, po riječi svojoj.

TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.

Nauči me razumu i znanju, jer u zapovijedi tvoje vjerujem.

Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

Prije nego bjeh ponižen, lutao sam, ali sada tvoju čuvam riječ.

Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

Ti si tako dobar i dobrostiv: nauči me pravilima svojim.

Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

Oholi na me prijevare smišljaju, ali se ja svim srcem držim naredaba tvojih.

The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.

Srce im je poput sala bešćutno, a ja uživam u tvom Zakonu.

Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.

Dobro mi je što sam ponižen da bih tvoja naučio pravila.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

Draži mi je zakon usta tvojih no tisuće zlatnika i srebrnika. $JOD

The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

Tvoje me ruke stvoriše i oblikovaše; prosvijetli me da naučim zapovijedi tvoje.

JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

Štovatelji tvoji videć' me vesele se, jer se u riječ tvoju ja pouzdah.

They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

Znadem, o Jahve, da su ti sudovi pravedni i da si me s pravom ponizio.

I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

Tvoja ljubav nek' mi bude tješiteljicom po obećanju koje si dao sluzi svom.

Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

Nek' dođe na me milosrđe tvoje da poživim, jer Zakon tvoj moja je naslada.

Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

Nek' se smetu oholi, jer me tlače nizašto, a ja ću o naredbama tvojim razmišljat'.

Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.

Nek' mi se priklone štovatelji tvoji i koji znaju tvoje zapovijedi.

Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.

Nek' mi srce savršeno bude u tvojim pravilima da ne budem postiđen. $KAF

Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

Duša moja gine za tvojim spasenjem riječ tvoju željno čekam.

CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.

Oči mi čeznu za tvojom besjedom: kad ćeš mi donijeti utjehu?

Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

Kao mijeh u dimu postadoh, ali pravila tvojih ne zaboravih.

For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.

Koliko dana ima sluga tvoj? Kad ćeš suditi progonitelje moje?

How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

Oholnici mi jame iskopaše: oni ne rade po Zakonu tvojemu.

The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.

Sve zapovijedi tvoje istina su sama: nekriva me gone, pomozi mi.

All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

Umalo me smrviše u zemlji, ali naredaba tvojih ja ne ostavljam.

They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.

Po svojoj me milosti poživi i čuvat ću svjedočanstvo tvojih usta. $LAMED

Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

Dovijeka, o Jahve, riječ tvoja ostaje, stalna poput nebesa.

LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

od koljena do koljena tvoja je vjernost; učvrstio si zemlju i ona stoji.

Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

Po tvojim zakonima stoje zauvijek jer sve tebi služi.

They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.

Da nije tvoj Zakon uživanje moje, propao bih u nevolji svojoj.

Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

Naredaba tvojih neću zaboravit' dovijeka, jer po njima ti me oživljavaš.

I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.

Tvoj sam, Gospodine: spasi me, jer tvoje ja ištem naredbe.

I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.

Bezbožni vrebaju da me upropaste, ali ja na tvoje pazim propise.

The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.

Svakom savršenstvu vidim granicu, a zapovijed tvoja nema granica. $MEM

I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

O, kako ljubim Zakon tvoj, po cio dan o njemu razmišljam.

MEM. O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

Tvoja me zapovijed mudrijim učini od dušmana mojih jer ona je sa mnom vječito.

Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

Umniji sam od svih svojih učitelja jer razmišljam o svjedočanstvima tvojim.

I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

Razumniji sam i od staraca jer tvoje čuvam naredbe.

I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

Zla puta klone mi se noge da riječ tvoju sačuvam.

I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

Od tvojih sudova ne odstupam, jer ti si me poučio.

I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.

Kako su slatke nepcu mom riječi tvoje, od meda su slađe ustima mojim.

How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Po tvojim naredbama postajem razuman, stoga mrzim sve putove lažne. $NUN

Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

Tvoja riječ nozi je mojoj svjetiljka i svjetlo mojoj stazi.

NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Kunem se i čvrsto odlučujem, i riječ ću održati: pravedne ću tvoje slijedit' odluke.

I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

U nevolji sam velikoj, Jahve, po riječi me svojoj poživi.

I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.

Prinose usta mojih primi, Jahve, uči me sudovima svojim.

Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.

Život mi je u pogibelji neprestanoj, ali tvog Zakona ja ne zaboravljam.

My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.

Grešnici mi postaviše zamku, ali ne skrećem od tvojih naredaba.

The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.

Svjedočanstva tvoja vječna su mi baština, ona su radost mome srcu.

Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

Prignuh srce da vrši naredbe tvoje uvijek i do kraja. $SAMEK

I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.

Ja mrzim one koji su dvostruka srca, a ljubim Zakon tvoj.

SAMECH. I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.

Ti si moj štit i moj zaklon, u tvoju se riječ ja uzdam.

Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

Odstupite od mene, zlikovci: držat ću zapovijedi Boga svoga.

Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.

Podrži me po svom obećanju i živjet ću; nemoj da se u svojoj nadi postidim.

Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.

Pomozi mi i spasit ću se, na tvoja ću pravila svagda paziti.

Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

Ti prezireš one koji odstupaju od pravila tvojih jer je lažna misao njihova.

Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.

K'o hrđu zlotvore zemlje uklanjaš, zato ljubim tvoje propise.

Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.

Moje tijelo dršće od straha pred tobom, sudova tvojih ja se bojim. $AJIN

My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

Činim što je pravo i pravedno, ne predaj me tlačiteljima mojim.

AIN. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.

Založi se za slugu svojega da me ne satru oholice!

Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.

Moje oči ginu od čežnje za spasenjem tvojim, za tvojom riječi pravednom.

Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.

Učini sluzi svom po svojoj dobroti i nauči me pravilima svojim.

Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.

Ja sam sluga tvoj: prosvijetli me da upoznam tvoje propise.

I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

Čas je, o Jahve, da se javiš: oskvrnuše Zakon tvoj.

It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.

Stoga ljubim zapovijedi tvoje više no zlato, zlato žeženo.

Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

Zato hodim po odredbama tvojim, mrski su mi svi lažni putovi. $PE

Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

Divna su tvoja svjedočanstva, stoga ih čuva duša moja.

PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.

Objava riječi tvojih prosvjetljuje, bezazlene urazumljuje.

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Otvaram usta svoja zadahtan u žudnji jer čeznem za zapovijedima tvojim.

I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.

Obrati se k meni i milostiv mi budi kao onima koji ljube ime tvoje.

Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

Korake mi upravljaj po svom obećanju da nikakva opačina ne ovlada mnome.

Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

Izbavi me od nasilja ljudskog, i naredbe tvoje ja ću čuvati.

Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.

Licem svojim obasjaj slugu svog i nauči me pravilima svojim!

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.

Potoci suza potekoše mi iz očiju jer se Zakon tvoj ne čuva. $SADE

Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

Pravedan si, Jahve, i pravi su sudovi tvoji.

TZADDI. Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.

Dao si Zakon pravedan i vjeran veoma.

Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.

Revnost me moja izjeda jer moji tlačitelji zaboravljaju riječi tvoje.

My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.

Tvoje su riječi prokušane veoma, zato ih tvoj sluga ljubi.

Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

Malen sam i prezren, ali naredaba tvojih ne zaboravljam.

I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.

Pravda je tvoja pravda vječita i Zakon tvoj sama istina.

Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

Tjeskoba me i nevolja snađe, al' tvoje su zapovijedi uživanje moje.

Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.

Vječna je pravda tvojeg svjedočanstva, prosvijetli me i živjet ću. $KOF

The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.

Iz svega srca vapijem, Jahve, usliši me: tvoja ću pravila čuvati.

KOPH. I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.

K tebi vapijem, spasi me, tvojeg ću se držat' svjedočanstva.

I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.

Pretječem zoru i molim za pomoć, u tvoje se riječi uzdam.

I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.

Oči moje straže noćne pretječu da razmišljam o besjedi tvojoj.

Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.

Po svojoj dobroti, Jahve, glas mi poslušaj, i po svojoj odluci poživi me.

Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.

Primiču se koji me podlo progone, daleko su oni od Zakona tvojega.

They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.

A ti si blizu, Jahve, i vjerne su sve zapovijedi tvoje.

Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.

Odavno znam za tvoje propise da si ih sazdao zasvagda. $REŠ

Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

Pogledaj na nevolju moju, izbavi me, jer Zakona tvog ne zaboravih.

RESH. Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.

Parnicu moju brani, po svom obećanju poživi me!

Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.

Daleko je spasenje od grešnika jer za pravila tvoja ne mare.

Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.

Veliko je, o Jahve, tvoje smilovanje: po odlukama svojim poživi me.

Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.

Mnogi me progone i tlače, od tvojih svjedočanstava ja ne odstupam.

Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.

Otpadnike vidjeh i zgadiše mi se jer tvojih riječi ne čuvaju.

I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.

Gle, naredbe tvoje ljubim, o Jahve: po dobroti svojoj poživi me.

Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.

Srž je riječi tvoje istina, vječan je sud pravde tvoje. $ŠIN

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

Mogućnici me progone nizašto, al' samo pred tvojim riječima srce mi dršće.

SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.

Radujem se besjedama tvojim kao onaj koji se domogao velika plijena.

I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

Mrzim na laž, grsti mi se ona, a ljubim tvoj Zakon.

I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

Sedam puta na dan tebe hvalim zbog pravednih sudova tvojih.

Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

Koji tvoj Zakon ljube, velik mir uživaju, ni o što se oni ne spotiču.

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Pomoć tvoju čekam, o Jahve, tvoje zapovijedi izvršavam.

LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.

Moja duša čuva propise tvoje i ljubi ih veoma.

My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

Nek' molitva moja dođe pred lice tvoje, po svojoj me riječi izbavi.

Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.

Usne moje nek' zapjevaju pohvalnu pjesmu jer si me naučio pravilima svojim.

My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

Nek' mi pjeva jezik o riječi tvojoj, jer zapovijedi su tvoje sve pravedne.

My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

Nek' mi ruka tvoja na pomoć bude jer odabrah tvoje naredbe.

Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.

Jahve, za tvojim spasenjem čeznem, uživam u tvom Zakonu.

I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.

Nek' živi duša moja i neka te hvali, a tvoji sudovi nek' mi na pomoć budu!

Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.

K'o ovca izgubljena ja zalutah: o, potraži slugu svojega jer zapovijedi tvoje ja ne zaboravih.

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
