Psalms 119

ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.

जो लोग पवित्र जीवन जीते हैं, वे प्रसन्न रहते हैं। ऐसे लोग यहोवा की शिक्षाओं पर चलते हैं।

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

लोग जो यहोवा की विधान पर चलते हैं, वे प्रसन्न रहते हैं। अपने समग्र मन से वे यहोवा की मानते हैं।

They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

वे लोग बुरे काम नहीं करते। वे यहोवा की आज्ञा मानते हैं।

Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

हे यहोवा, तूने हमें अपने आदेश दिये, और तूने कहा कि हम उन आदेशों का पूरी तरह पालन करें।

O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

हे यहोवा, यादि मैं सदा तेरे नियमों पर चलूँ,

Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

जब मैं तेरे आदेशों को विचारूँगा तो मुझे कभी भी लज्जित नहीं होना होगा।

I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

जब मैं तेरे खरेपन और तेरी नेकी को विचारता हूँ तब सचमुच तुझको मान दे सकता हूँ।

I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

हे यहोवा, मैं तेरे आदेशों का पालन करूँगा। सो कृपा करके मुझको मत बिसरा!

BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

एक युवा व्यक्ति कैसे अपना जीवन पवित्र रख पाये तेरे निर्देशों पर चलने से।

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

मैं अपने पूर्ण मन से परमेश्वर कि सेवा का जतन करता हूँ। परमेश्वर, तेरे आदेशों पर चलने में मेरी सहायता कर।

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

मैं बड़े ध्यान से तेरे आदेशों का मनन किया करता हूँ। क्यों ताकि मैं तेरे विरूद्ध पाप पर न चलूँ।

Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

हे यहोवा, तेरा धन्यवाद! तू अपने विधानों की शिक्षा मुझको दे।

With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

तेरे सभी निर्णय जो विवेकपूर्ण हैं। मैं उनका बखान करूँगा।

I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

तेरे नियमों पर मनन करना, मुझको अन्य किसी भी वस्तु से अधिक भाता है।

I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

मैं तेरे नियमों की चर्चा करता हूँ, और मैं तेरे समान जीवन जीता हूँ।

I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

मैं तेरे नियमों में आनन्द लेता हूँ। मैं तेरे वचनों को नहीं भूलूँगा।

GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.

तेरे दास को योग्यता दे और मैं तेरे नियमों पर चलूँगा।

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

हे यहोवा, मेरी आँख खोल दे और मैं तेरी शिक्षाओं के भीतर देखूँगा। मैं उन अद्भुत बातों का अध्ययन करूँगा जिन्हें तूने किया है।

I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

मैं इस धरती पर एक अनजाना परदेशी हूँ। हे यहोवा, अपनी शिक्षाओं को मुझसे मत छिपा।

My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.

मैं हर समय तेरे निर्णयों का पाठ करना चाहता हूँ।

Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

हे यहोवा, तू अहंकारी जन की आलोचना करता है। उन अहंकारी लोगों पर बुरी बातें घटित होंगी। वे तेरे आदेशों पर चलना नकारते हैं।

Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

मुझे लज्जित मत होने दे, और मुझको असमंजस में मत डाल। मैंने तेरी वाचा का पालन किया है।

Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

यहाँ तक कि प्रमुखों ने भी मेरे लिये बुरी बातें की हैं। किन्तु मैं तो तेरा दास हूँ। मैं तेरे विधान का पाठ किया करता हूँ।

Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.

तेरी वाचा मेरा सर्वोत्तम मिस्र है। यह मुझको अच्छी सलाह दिया करता है।

DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.

मैं शीघ्र मर जाऊँगा। हे यहोवा, तू आदेश दे और मुझे जीने दे।

I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.

मैंने तुझे अपने जीवन के बारे में बताया है, तूने मुझे उत्तर दिया है। अब तू मुझको अपना विधान सिखा।

Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

हे यहोवा, मेरी सहायता कर ताकि मैं तेरी व्यवस्था का विधान समझूँ। मुझे उन अद्भुत कर्मो का चिंतन करने दे जिन्हें तूने किया है।

My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.

मैं दु:खी और थका हूँ। मुझको आदेश दे और अपने वचन के अनुसार मुझको तू फिर सुदृढ़ बना दे।

Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.

हे यहोवा, मुझे कोई झूठ मत जीने दे। अपनी शिक्षाओं से मुझे राह दिखा दे।

I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.

हे यहोवा, मैंने चुना है कि तेरे प्रति निष्ठावान रहूँ। मैं तेरे विवेकपूर्ण निर्णयों का सावधानी से पाठ किया करता हूँ।

I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.

हे यहोवा, तेरी वाचा के संग मेरी लगन लगी है। तू मुझको निराश मत कर।

I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

मैं तेरे आदेशों का पालन प्रसन्नता के संग किया करूँगा। हे यहोवा, तेरे आदेश मुझे अति प्रसन्न करते हैं।

HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

हे यहोवा, तू मुझे अपनी व्यवस्था सिखा तब मैं उनका अनुसरण करूँगा।

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

मुझको सहारा दे कि मैं उनको समझूँ और मैं तेरी शिक्षाओं का पालन करुँगा। मैं पूरी तरह उनका पालन करूँगा।

Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

हे यहोवा, तू मुझको अपने आदेशों की राह पर ले चल। मुझे सचमुच तेरे आदेशों से प्रेम है। मेरा भला कर और मुझे जीने दे।

Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

मेरी सहायता कर कि मैं तेरे वाचा का मनन करूँ, बजाय उसके कि यह सोचता रहूँ कि कैसे धनवान बनूँ।

Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.

हे यहोवा, मुझे अद्भुत वस्तुओं पाने को कठिन जतन मत करने दे।

Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.

हे यहोवा, मैं तेरा दास हूँ। सो उन बातों को कर जिनका वचन तूने दिये है। तूने उन लोगों को जो पूर्वज हैं उन बातों को वचन दिया था।

Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.

हे यहोवा, जिस लाज से मुझको भय उसको तू दूर कर दे। तेरे विवेकपूर्ण निर्णय अच्छे होते हैं।

Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

देख मुझको तेरे आदेशोंसे प्रेम है। मेरा भला कर और मुझे जीने दे।

VAU. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.

हे यहोवा, तू सच्चा निज प्रेम मुझ पर प्रकट कर। मेरी रक्षा वैसे ही कर जैसे तूने वचन दिया।

So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.

तब मेरे पास एक उत्तर होगा। उनके लिये जो लोग मेरा अपमान करते हैं। हे यहोवा, मैं सचमुच तेरी उन बातों के भरोसे हूँ जिनको तू कहता है।

And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

तू अपनी शिक्षाएँ जो भरोसे योग्य है, मुझसे मत छीन। हे यहोवा, तेरे विवेकपूर्ण निर्णयों का मुझे भरोसा है।

So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

हे यहोवा, मैं तेरी शिक्षाओं का पालन सदा और सदा के लिये करूँगा।

And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

सो मैं सुरक्षित जीवन जीऊँगा। क्यों मैं तेरी व्यवस्था को पालने का कठिन जतन करता हूँ।

I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

यहोवा के वाचा की चर्चा मैं राजाओं के साथ करूँगा और वे मुझे संकट में कभी न डालेंगे।

And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

हे यहोवा, मुझे तेरी व्यवस्थाओं का मनन भाता है। तेरी व्यवस्थाओं से मुझको प्रेम है।

My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

हे यहोवा, मैं तेरी व्यवस्थाओं के गुण गाता हूँ, वे मुझे प्यारी हैं और मैं उनका पाठ करूँगा।

ZAIN. Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

हे यहोवा, अपना वचन याद कर जो तूने मुझको दिया। वही वचन मुझको आज्ञा दिया करता है।

This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

मैं संकट में पड़ा था, और तूने मुझे चैन दिया। तेरे वचनो ने फिर से मुझे जीने दिया।

The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.

लोग जो स्वयं को मुझसे उत्तम सोचते हैं, निरन्तर मेरा अपमान कर रहे हैं, किन्तु हे यहोवा मैंने तेरी शिक्षाओं पर चलना नहीं छोड़ा।

I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.

मैं सदा तेरे विवेकपूर्ण निर्णयों का ध्यान करता हूँ। हे यहोवा तेरे विवेकपूर्ण निर्णय से मुझे चैन है।

Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

जब मैं ऐसे दुष्ट लोगों को देखता हूँ, जिन्होंने तेरी शिक्षाओं पर चलना छोड़ा है, तो मुझे क्रोध आता है।

Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

तेरी व्यवस्थायें मुझे ऐसी लगती है, जैसे मेरे घर के गीत।

I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.

हे यहोवा, रात में मैं तेरे नाम का ध्यान और तेरी शिक्षाएँ याद रखता हूँ।

This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

इसलिए यह होता है कि मैं सावधानी से तेरे आदेशों को पालता हूँ।

CHETH. Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.

हे यहोवा, मैंने तेरे उपदेशों पर चलना निश्चित किया यह मेरा कर्तव्य है।

I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.

हे यहोवा, मैं पूरी तरह से तुझ पर निर्भर हूँ, जैसा वचन तूने दिया मुझ पर दयालु हो।

I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

मैंने ध्यान से अपनी राह पर मनन किया और मैं तेरी वाचा पर चलने को लौट आया।

I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.

मैंने बिना देर लगाये तेरे आदेशों पर चलने कि शीघ्रता की।

The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.

बुरे लोगों के एक दल ने मेरे विषय में बुरी बातें कहीं। किन्तु यहोवा मैं तेरी शिक्षाओं को भूला नहीं।

At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

तेरे सत निर्णयों का तुझे धन्यवाद देने मैं आधी रात के बीच उठ बैठता हूँ।

I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

जो कोई व्यक्ति तेरी उपासना करता मैं उसका मित्र हूँ। जो कोई व्यक्ति तेरे आदेशों पर चलता है, मैं उसका मित्र हूँ।

The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.

हे यहोवा, यह धरती तेरी सत्य करूणा से भरी हुई है। मुझको तू अपने विधान की शिक्षा दे।

TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.

हे यहोवा, तूने अपने दास पर भलाईयाँ की है। तूने ठीक वैसा ही किया जैसा तूने करने का वचन दिया था।

Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

हे यहोवा, मुझे ज्ञान दे कि मैं विवेकपूर्ण निर्णय लूँ, तेरे आदेशों पर मुझको भरोसा है।

Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

संकट में पड़ने से पहले, मैंने बहुत से बुरे काम किये थे। किन्तु अब, सावधानी के साथ मैं तेरे आदेशों पर चलता हूँ।

Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

हे परमेश्वर, तू खरा है, और तू खरे काम करता है, तू अपनी विधान की शिक्षा मुझको दे।

The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.

कुछ लोग जो सोचते हैं कि वे मुझ से उत्तम हैं, मेरे विषय में बुरी बातें बनाते हैं। किन्तु यहोवा मैं अपने पूर्ण मन के साथ तेरे आदेशों को निरन्तर पालता हूँ।

Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.

वे लोग महा मूर्ख हैं। किन्तु मैं तेरी शिक्षाओं को पढ़ने में रस लेता हूँ।

It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

मेरे लिये संकट अच्छ बन गया था। मैंने तेरी शिक्षाओं को सीख लिया।

The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

हे यहोवा, तेरी शिक्षाएँ मेरे लिए भली है। तेरी शिक्षाएँ हजार चाँदी के टुकड़ों और सोने के टुकड़ों से उत्तम हैं।

JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

हे यहोवा, तूने मुझे रचा है और निज हाथों से तू मुझे सहारा देता है। अपने आदेशों को पढ़ने समझने में तू मेरी सहायता कर।

They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

हे यहोवा, तेरे भक्त मुझे आदर देते हैं और वे प्रसन्न हैं क्योंकि मुझे उन सभी बातों का भरोसा है जिन्हें तू कहता है।

I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

हे यहोवा, मैं यह जानता हूँ कि तेरे निर्णय खरे हुआ करते हैं। यह मेरे लिये उचित था कि तू मुझको दण्ड दे।

Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

अब, अपने सत्य प्रेम से तू मुझ को चैन दे। तेरी शिक्षाएँ मुझे सचमुच भाती हैं।

Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

हे यहोवा, तू मुझे सुख चैन दे और जीवन दे। मैं तेरी शिक्षाओं में सचमुच आनन्दित हूँ।

Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.

उन लोगों को जो सोचा करते है कि वे मुझसे उत्तम हैं, उनको निराश कर दे। क्योंकि उन्होंने मेरे विषय में झूठी बातें कही है। हे यहोवा, मैं तेरे आदेशों का पाठ किया करूँगा।

Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.

अपने भक्तों को मेरे पास लौट आने दे। ऐसे उन लोगों को मेरे पास लौट आने दे जिनको तेरी वाचा का ज्ञान है।

Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

हे यहोवा, तू मुझको पूरी तरह अपने आदेशों को पालने दे ताकि मैं कभी लज्जित न होऊँ।

CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.

मैं तेरी प्रतिज्ञा में मरने को तत्पर हूँ कि तू मुझको बचायेगा। किन्तु यहोवा, मुझको उसका भरोसा है, जो तू कहा करता था।

Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

जिन बातों का तूने वचन दिया था, मैं उनकी बाँट जोहता रहता हूँ। किन्तु मेरी आँखे थकने लगी है। हे यहोवा, मुझे कब तू आराम देगा

For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.

यहाँ तक जब मैं कूड़े के ढेर पर दाखमधु की सूखी मशक सा हूँ, तब भी मैं तेरे विधान को नहीं भूलूँगा।

How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

मैं कब तक जीऊँगा हे यहोवा, कब दण्ड देगा तू ऐसे उन लोगों को जो मुझ पर अत्याचार किया करते हैं

The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.

कुछ अहंकारी लोग ने अपनी झूठों से मुझ पर प्रहार किया था। यह तेरी शिक्षाओं के विरूद्ध है।

All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

हे यहोवा, सब लोग तेरी शिक्षाओं के भरोसे रह सकते हैं। झूठे लोग मुझको सता रहे है। मेरी सहायता कर!

They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.

उन झूठे लोगों ने मुझको लगभग नष्ट कर दिया है। किन्तु मैंने तेरे आदेशों को नहीं छोड़ा।

Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

हे यहोवा, अपनी सत्य करूणा को मुझ पर प्रकट कर। तू मुझको जीवन दे मैं तो वही करूँगा जो कुछ तू कहता है।

LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

हे यहोवा, तेरे वचन सदा अचल रहते हैं। स्वर्ग में तेरे वचन सदा अटल रहते हैं।

Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

सदा सर्वदा के लिये तू ही सच्चा है। हे यहोवा, तूने धरती रची, और यह अब तक टिकी है।

They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.

तेरे आदेश से ही अब तक सभी वस्तु स्थिर हैं, क्योंकि वे सभी वस्तुएँ तेरी दास हैं।

Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

यदि तेरी शिक्षाएँ मेरी मित्र जैसी नहीं होती, तो मेरे संकट मुझे नष्ट कर डालते।

I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.

हे यहोवा, तेरे आदेशों को मैं कभी नहीं भूलूँगा। क्योंकि वे ही मुझे जीवित रखते हैं।

I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.

हे यहोवा, मैं तो तेरा हूँ, मेरी रक्षा कर। क्यों क्योंकि तेरे आदेशों पर चलने का मैं कठिन जतन करता हूँ।

The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.

दुष्ट जन मेरे विनाश का यतन किया करते हैं, किन्तु तेरी वाचा ने मुझे बुद्धिमान बनाया।

I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

सब कुछ की सीमा है, तेरी व्यवस्था की सीमा नहीं।

MEM. O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

आ हा, यहोवा तेरी शिक्षाओं से मुझे प्रेम है। हर घड़ी मैं उनका ही बखान किया करता हूँ।

Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

हे यहोवा, तेरे आदेशों ने मुझे मेरे शत्रुओं से अधिक बुद्धिमान बनाया। तेरा विधान सदा मेरे साथ रहता है।

I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

मैं अपने सब शिक्षाओं से अधिक बुद्धिमान हूँ क्योंकि मैं तेरी वाचा का पाठ किया करता हूँ।

I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

बुजुर्ग प्रमुखों से भी अधिक समझता हूँ। क्योंकि मैं तेरे आदेशों को पालता हूँ।

I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

हे यहोवा, तू मुझे राह में हर कदम बुरे मार्ग से बचाता है, ताकि जो तू मुझे बताता है वह मैं कर सकूँ।

I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.

यहोवा, तू मेरा शिक्षक है। सो मैं तेरे विधान पर चलना नहीं छोड़ूँगा।

How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

तेरे वचन मेरे मुख के भीतर शहद से भी अधिक मीठे हैं।

Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

तेरी शिक्षाएँ मुझे बुद्धिमान बनाती है। सो मैं झूठी शिक्षाओं से घृणा करता हूँ।

NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

हे यहोवा, तेरा वचन मेरे पाँव के लिये दीपक और मार्ग के लिये उजियाला है।

I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

तेरे नियम उत्तम हैं। मैं उन पर चलने का वचन देता हूँ, और मैं अपने वचन का पालन करूँगा।

I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.

हे यहोवा, बहुत समय तक मैंने दु:ख झेले हैं, कृपया मुझे अपना आदेश दे और तू मुझे फिर से जीवित रहने दे!

Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.

हे यहोवा, मेरी विनती को तू स्वीकार कर, और मुझ को अपनी विधान कि शिक्षा दे।

My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.

मेरा जीवन सदा जोखिम से भरा हुआ है। किन्तु यहोवा मैं तेरे उपदेश भूला नहीं हूँ।

The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.

दुष्ट जन मुझको फँसाने का यत्न करते हैं किन्तु तेरे आदेशों को मैंने कभी नहीं नकारा है।

Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

हे यहोवा, मैं सदा तेरी वाचा का पालन करूँगा। यह मुझे अति प्रसन्न किया करता है।

I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.

मैं सदा तेरे विधान पर चलने का अति कठोर यत्न करूँगा।

SAMECH. I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.

हे यहोवा, मुझको ऐसे उन लोगों से घृणा है, जो पूरी तरह से तेरे प्रति सच्चे नहीं हैं। मुझको तो तेरी शिक्षाएँ भाति हैं।

Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

मुझको ओट दे और मेरी रक्षा कर। हे यहोवा, मुझको उस बात का सहारा है जिसको तू कहता है।

Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.

हे यहोवा, दुष्ट मनुष्यों को मेरे पास मत आने दे। मैं अपने परमेश्वर के आदेशों का पालन करूँगा।

Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.

हे यहोवा, मुझको ऐसे ही सहारा दे जैसे तूने वचन दिया, और मैं जीवित रहूँगा। मुझको तुझमें विश्वास है, मुझको निराश मत कर।

Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

हे यहोवा, मुझको सहारा दे कि मेरा उद्धार हो। मैं सदा तेरी आदेशों का पाठ किया करूँगा।

Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.

हे यहोवा, तू हर ऐसे व्यक्ति से विमुख हो जाता है, जो तेरे नियम तोड़ता है। क्यों क्योंकि उन लोगों ने झूठ बोले जब वे तेरे अनुसरण करने को सहमत हुए।

Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.

हे यहोवा, तू इस धरती पर दुष्टों के साथ ऐसा बर्ताव करता है जैसे वे कूड़ा हो। सो मैं तेरी वाचा से सदा प्रेम करूँगा।

My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

हे यहोवा, मैं तुझ से भयभीत हूँ, मैं डरता हूँ, और तेरे विधान का आदर करता हूँ।

AIN. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.

मैंने वे बातें की हैं जो खरी और भली हैं। हे यहोवा, तू मुझको ऐसे उन लोगों को मत सौंप जो मुझको हानि पहुँचाना चाहते हैं।

Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.

मुझे वचन दे कि तू मुझे सहारा देगा। मैं तेरा दास हूँ। हे यहोवा, उन अहंकारी लोगों को मुझको हानि मत पहुँचाने दे।

Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.

हे यहोवा, तूने मेरे उद्धार का एक उत्तम वचन दिया था, किन्तु अपने उद्धार को मेरी आँख तेरी राह देखते हुए थक गई।

Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.

तू अपना सच्चा प्रेम मुझ पर प्रकट कर। मैं तेरा दास हूँ। तू मुझे अपने विधान की शिक्षा दे।

I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

मैं तेरा दास हूँ। अपनी वाचा को पढ़ने समझने में तू मेरी सहायता कर।

It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.

हे यहोवा, यही समय है तेरे लिये कि तू कुछ कर डाले। लोगों ने तेरे विधान को तोड़ा है।

Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

हे यहोवा, उत्तम सुवर्ण से भी अधिक मुझे तेरे आदेश भाते हैं।

Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

तेरे सब आदेशों का बहुत सावधानी से मैं पालन करता हूँ। मैं झूठे उपदेशों से घृणा करता हूँ।

PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.

हे यहोवा, तेरी वाचा बहुत अद्भुत है। इसलिए मैं उसका अनुसरण करता हूँ।

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

कब शुरू करेंगे लोग तेरा वचन समझना यह एक ऐसे प्रकाश सा है जो उन्हें जीवन की खरी राह दिखाया करता है। तेरा वचन मूर्ख तक को बुद्धिमान बनाता है।

I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.

हे यहोवा, मैं सचमुच तेरे आदेशों का पाठ करना चाहता हूँ। मैं उस व्यक्ति जैसा हूँ जिस की साँस उखड़ी हो और जो बड़ी तीव्रता से बाट जोह रहो हो।

Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

हे परमेश्वर, मेरी ओर दृष्टि कर और मुझ पर दयालु हो। तू उन जनों के लिये ऐसे उचित काम कर जो तेरे नाम से प्रेम किया करते हैं

Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

तेरे वचन के अनुसार मेरी अगुवाई कर, मुझे कोई हानी न होने दे।

Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.

हे यहोवा, मुझको उन लोगों से बचा ले जो मुझको दु:ख देते हैं। और मैं तेरे आदेशों का पालन करूँगा।

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.

हे यहोवा, अपने दास को तू अपना ले और अपना विधान तू मुझे सिखा।

Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

रो—रो कर आँसुओं की एक नदी मैं बहा चुका हूँ। क्योंकि लोग तेरी शिक्षाओं का पालन नहीं करते हैं।

TZADDI. Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.

हे यहोवा, तू भला है और तेरे नियम खरे हैं।

Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.

वे नियम उत्तम है जो तूने हमें वाचा में दिये। हम सचमुच तेरे विधान के भरोसे रह सकते हैं।

My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.

मेरी तीव्र भावनाएँ मुझे शीघ्र ही नष्ट कर देंगी। मैं बहुत बेचैन हूँ, क्योंकि मेरे शत्रुओं ने तेरे आदेशों को भूला दिया।

Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

हे यहोवा, हमारे पास प्रमाण है, कि हम तेरे वचन के भरोसे रह सकते हैं, और मुझे इससे प्रेम है।

I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.

मैं एक तुच्छ व्यक्ति हूँ और लोग मेरा आदर नहीं करते हैं। किन्तु मैं तेरे आदेशों को भूलता नहीं हूँ।

Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

हे यहोवा, तेरी धार्मिकता अनन्त है। तेरे उपदेशों के भरोसे में रहा जा सकता है।

Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.

मैं संकट में था, और कठिन समय में था। किन्तु तेरे आदेश मेरे लिये मित्र से थे।

The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.

तेरी वाचा नित्य ही उत्तम है। अपनी वाचा को समझने में मेरी सहायता कर ताकि मैं जी सकूँ।

KOPH. I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.

सम्पूर्ण मन से यहोवा मैं तुझको पुकारता हूँ, मुझको उत्तर दे। मैं तेरे आदेशों का पालन करता हूँ।

I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.

हे यहोवा, मेरी तुझसे विनती है। मुझको बचा ले! मैं तेरी वाचा का पालन करूँगा।

I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.

यहोवा, मैं तेरी प्रार्थना करने को भोर के तड़के उठा करता हूँ। मुझको उन बातों पर भरोसा है, जिनको तू कहता है।

Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.

देर रात तक तेरे वचनों का मनन करते हुए बैठा रहता हूँ।

Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.

हे यहोवा, तू अपने पूर्ण प्रेम से मुझ पर कान दे। तू वैसा ही कर जिसे तू ठीक कहता है, और मेरा जीवन बनाये रख।

They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.

लोग मेरे विरूद्ध कुचक्र रच रहे हैं। हे यहोवा, ऐसे ये लोग तेरी शिक्षाओं पर चला नहीं करते हैं।

Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.

हे यहोवा, तू मेरे पास है। तेरे आदेशों पर विश्वास किया जा सकता है।

Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

तेरी वाचा से बहुत दिनों पहले ही मैं जान गया था कि तेरी शिक्षाएँ सदा ही अटल रहेंगी।

RESH. Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.

हे यहोवा, मेरी यातना देख और मुझको बचा ले, मैं तेरे उपदेशों को भूला नहीं हूँ।

Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.

हे यहोवा, मेरे लिये मेरी लड़ाई लड़ और मेरी रक्षा कर। मुझको वैसे जीने दे जैसे तूने वचन दिया।

Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.

दुष्ट विजयी नहीं होंगे। क्यों क्योंकि वे तेरे विधान पर नहीं चलते हैं।

Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.

हे यहोवा, तू बहुत दयालु है। तू वैसा ही कर जिसे तू अच्छा कहे, और मेरा जीवन बनाये रख।

Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.

मेरे बहुत से शत्रु है जो मुझे हानि पहुँचाने का जतन करते: किन्तु मैंने तेरी वाचा का अनुसरण नहीं छोड़ा।

I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.

मैं उन कृतघ्नों को देख रहा हूँ। हे यहोवा, तेरे वचन का पालन वे नहीं करते। मुझको उनसे घृणा है।

Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.

देख, तेरे आदेशों का पालन करने का मैं कठिन जतन करता हूँ। हे यहोवा, तेरे सम्पूर्ण प्रेम से मेरा जीवन बनाये रख।

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

हे यहोवा, सनातन काल से तेरे सभी वचन विश्वास योग्य रहे हैं। तेरा उत्तम विधान सदा ही अमर रहेगा।

SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.

शक्तिशाली नेता मुझ पर व्यर्थ ही वार करते हैं, किन्तु मैं डरता हूँ और तेरे विधान का बस मैं आदर करता हूँ।

I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

हे यहोवा, तेरे वचन मुझ को वैसे आनन्दित करते हैं, जैसा वह व्यक्ति आनन्दित होता है, जिसे अभी—अभी कोई महाकोश मिल गया हो।

I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

मुझे झूठ से बैर है! मैं उससे घृणा करता हूँ! हे यहोवा, मैं तेरी शिक्षाओं से प्रेम करता हूँ।

Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

मैं दिन में सात बार तेरे उत्तम विधान के कारण तेरी स्तुति करता हूँ।

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

वे व्यक्ति सच्ची शांती पायेंगे, जिन्हें तेरी शिक्षाएँ भाती हैं। उसको कुछ भी गिरा नहीं पायेगा।

LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.

हे यहोवा, मैं तेरी प्रतीक्षा में हूँ कि तू मेरा उद्धार करे। मैंने तेरे आदेशों का पालन किया है।

My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

मैं तेरी वाचा पर चलता रहा हूँ। हे यहोवा, मुझको तेरे विधान से गहन प्रेम है।

I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.

मैंने तेरी वाचा का और तेरे आदेशों का पालन किया है। हे यहोवा, तू सब कुछ जानता है जो मैंने किया है।

TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.

हे यहोवा, सुन तू मेरा प्रसन्न गीत है। मुझे बुद्धिमान बना जैसा तूने वचन दिया है।

Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.

हे यहोवा, मेरी विनती सुन। तूने जैसा वचन दिया मेरा उद्धार कर।

My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

मेरे अन्दर से स्तुति गीत फूट पड़े क्योंकि तूने मुझको अपना विधान सिखाया है।

My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

मुझको सहायता दे कि मैं तेरे वचनों के अनुसार कार्य कर सकूँ, और मुझे तू अपना गीत गाने दे। हे यहोवा, तेरे सभी नियम उत्तम हैं।

Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.

तू मेरे पास आ, और मुझको सहारा दे क्योंकि मैंने तेरे आदेशों पर चलना चुन लिया है।

I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.

हे यहोवा, मैं यह चाहता हूँ कि तू मेरा उद्धार करे, तेरी शिक्षाएँ मुझे प्रसन्न करती है।

Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.

हे यहोवा, मेरा जीवन बना रहे और मैं तेरी स्तुति करूँ। अपने विधान से तू मुझे सहारा मिलने दे।

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

एक भटकी हुई भेड़ सा, मैं इधर-उधर भटका हूँ। हे यहोवा, मुझे ढूँढते आ। मैं तेरा दास हूँ, और मैं तेरे आदेशों को भूला नहीं हूँ।
