Psalms 105

105:1
O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
Дякуйте Господу, кличте ім'я Його, серед народів звіщайте про чини Його!
105:2
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
Співайте Йому, грайте Йому, говоріть про всі чуда Його!
105:3
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
Хваліться святим Його Йменням, хай тішиться серце шукаючих Господа!
105:4
Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
Пошукуйте Господа й силу Його, лице Його завжди шукайте!
105:5
Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
Пам'ятайте про чуда Його, які Він учинив, про ознаки Його та про присуди уст Його,
105:6
O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
ви, насіння Авраама, раба Його, сини Яковові, вибранці Його!
105:7
He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
Він Господь, Бог наш, по цілій землі Його присуди!
105:8
He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
Він пам'ятає навіки Свого заповіта, те слово, яке наказав був на тисячу родів,
105:9
Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
що склав Він його з Авраамом, і присягу Свою для ісака.
105:10
And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
Він поставив її за Закона для Якова, ізраїлеві заповітом навіки,
105:11
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
говорячи: Я дам тобі Край ханаанський, частину спадщини для вас!
105:12
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
Тоді їх було невелике число, нечисленні були та приходьки на ній,
105:13
When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
і ходили вони від народу до народу, від царства до іншого люду.
105:14
He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
Не дозволив нікому Він кривдити їх, і за них Він царям докоряв:
105:15
Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Не доторкуйтеся до Моїх помазанців, а пророкам Моїм не робіте лихого!
105:16
Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
і покликав Він голод на землю, всяке хлібне стебло поламав.
105:17
He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
Перед їхнім обличчям Він мужа послав, за раба Йосип проданий був.
105:18
Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
Кайданами мучили ноги його, залізо пройшло в його тіло,
105:19
Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
аж до часу виповнення слова Його, слово Господнє його було виявило.
105:20
The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
Цар послав і його розв'язав, володар народів і його був звільнив.
105:21
He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
Він настановив його паном над домом своїм, і володарем над усім маєтком своїм,
105:22
To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
щоб в'язнив він його можновладців по волі своїй, а старших його умудряв.
105:23
Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
і ізраїль прибув до Єгипту, і Яків замешкав у Хамовім краї.
105:24
And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
А народ Свій Він сильно розмножив, і зробив був ряснішим його від його ворогів.
105:25
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
Він перемінив їхнє серце, щоб народа Його ненавиділи, щоб брались на хитрощі проти рабів Його.
105:26
He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
Він послав був Мойсея, Свого раба, Аарона, що вибрав його,
105:27
They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
вони положили були серед них Його речі знаменні, та чуда у Хамовім краї.
105:28
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
Він темноту наслав і потемніло, і вони не противились слову Його.
105:29
He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
Він перемінив їхню воду на кров, і вморив їхню рибу.
105:30
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
Їхній край зароївся був жабами, навіть в покоях царів їхніх.
105:31
He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
Він сказав й прибули рої мух, воші в цілому обширі їхньому.
105:32
He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
Він градом зробив їхній дощ, палючий огонь на їхню землю.
105:33
He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
і Він повибивав виноград їхній та фіґове дерево їхнє, і деревину на обширі їхньому повиломлював.
105:34
He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
Він сказав і найшла сарана та гусінь без ліку,
105:35
And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
усю ярину в їхнім краї пожерла, і плід землі їхньої з'їла.
105:36
He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
і Він повбивав усіх первістків в їхньому краї, початок усякої їхньої сили.
105:37
He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
і Він випровадив їх у сріблі та в золоті, і серед їхніх племен не було, хто б спіткнувся.
105:38
Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
Єгипет радів, коли вийшли вони, бо страх перед ними напав був на них.
105:39
He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
Він хмару простяг на заслону, а огонь на освітлення ночі.
105:40
The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
Зажадав був ізраїль і Він перепелиці наслав, і хлібом небесним Він їх годував.
105:41
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
Відчинив був Він скелю й линула вода, потекли були ріки в пустинях,
105:42
For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
бо Він пам'ятав за святе Своє слово, за Авраама, Свого раба.
105:43
And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
і Він з радістю вивів народ Свій, зо співом вибранців Своїх,
105:44
And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
і їм землю народів роздав, і посіли вони працю людів,
105:45
That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.
щоб виконували Його заповіді, та закони Його берегли! Алілуя!
