Psalms 106

यहोवा की प्रशंसा करो! यहोवा का धन्यवाद करो क्योंकि वह उत्तम है! परमेश्वर का प्रेम सदा ही रहता है!

Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

सचमुच यहोवा कितना महान है, इसका बखान कोई व्यक्ति कर नहीं सकता। परमेश्वर की पूरी प्रशंसा कोई नहीं कर सकता।

Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise?

जो लोग परमेश्वर का आदेश पालते हैं, वे प्रसन्न रहते हैं। वे व्यक्ति हर समय उत्तम कर्म करते हैं।

Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

यहोवा, जब तू निज भक्तों पर कृपा करे। मुझको याद कर। मुझको भी उद्धार करने को याद कर।

Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

यहोवा, मुझको भी उन भली बातों में हिस्सा बँटाने दे जिन को तू अपने लोगों के लिये करता है। तू अपने भक्तों के साथ मुझको भी प्रसन्न होने दे। तुझ पर तेरे भक्तों के साथ मुझको भी गर्व करने दे।

That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

हमने वैसे ही पाप किये हैं जैसे हमारे पूर्वजों ने किये। हम अधर्मी हैं, हमने बुरे काम किये है!

We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

हे यहोवा, मिस्र में हमारे पूर्वजों ने आश्चर्य कर्मो से कुछ भी नहीं सीखा। उन्होंने तेरे प्रेम को और तेरी करूणा को याद नहीं रखा। हमारे पूर्वज वहाँ लाल सागर के किनारे तेरे विरूद्ध हुए।

Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

किन्तु परमेश्वर ने निज नाम के हेतु हमारे पूर्वजों को बचाया था। परमेश्वर ने अपनी महान शक्ति दिखाने को उनको बचाया था।

Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

परमेश्वर ने आदेश दिया और लाल सागर सूखा। परमेश्वर हमारे पूर्वजों को उस गहरे समुद्र से इतनी सूखी धरती से निकाल ले आया जैसे मरूभूमि हो।

He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

परमेश्वर ने हमारे पूर्वजों को उनके शत्रुओं से बचाया! परमेश्वर उनको उनके शत्रुओं से बचा कर निकाल लाया।

And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

और फिर उनके शत्रुओं को उसी सागर के बीच ढ़ाँप कर डुबा दिया। उनका एक भी शत्रु बच निकल नहीं पाया।

And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

फिर हमारे पूर्वजों ने परमेश्वर पर विश्वास किया। उन्होंने उसके गुण गाये।

Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

किन्तु हमारे पूर्वज उन बातों को शीघ्र भूले जो परमेश्वर ने की थी। उन्होंने परमेश्वर की सम्मति पर कान नहीं दिया।

They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:

हमारे पूर्वजों को जंगल में भूख लगी थी। उस मरूभूमि में उन्होंने परमेश्वर को परखा।

But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

किन्तु हमारे पूर्वजों ने जो कुछ भी माँगा परमेश्वर ने उनको दिया। किन्तु परमेश्वर ने उनको एक महामारी भी दे दी थी।

And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

लोग मूसा से डाह रखने लगे और हारून से वे डाह रखने लगे जो यहोवा का पवित्र याजक था।

They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.

सो परमेश्वर ने उन ईर्ष्यालु लोगों को दण्ड दिया। धरती फट गयी और दातान को निगला और फिर धरती बन्द हो गयी। उसने अविराम के समूह को निगल लिया।

The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.

फिर आग ने उन लोगों की भीड़ को भस्म किया। उन दुष्ट लोगों को आग ने जाला दिया।

And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.

उन लोगों ने होरब के पहाड़ पर सोने का एक बछड़ा बनाया और वे उस मूर्ति की पूजा करने लगे!

They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

उन लोगों ने अपने महिमावान परमेश्वर को एक बहुत जो घास खाने वाले बछड़े का था उससे बेच दिया!

Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.

हमारे पूर्वज परमेश्वर को भूले जिसने उन्हें बचाया था। वे परमेशवर के विषय में भूले जिसने मिस्र में आश्चर्य कर्म किये थे।

They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

परमेश्वर ने हाम के देश में आश्चर्य कर्म किये थे। परमेश्वर ने लाल सागर के पास भय विस्मय भरे काम किये थे।

Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

परमेश्वर उन लोगों को नष्ट करना चाहता था, किन्तु परमेश्वर के चुने दास मूसा ने उनको रोक दिया। परमेश्वर बहुत कुपित था किन्तु मूसा आड़े आया कि परमेश्वर उन लोगों का कहीं नाश न करे।

Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

फिर उन लोगों ने उस अद्भुत देश कनान में जाने से मना कर दिया। लोगों को विश्वास नहीं था कि परमेश्वर उन लोगों को हराने में सहायता करेगा जो उस देश में रह रहे थे।

Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

अपने तम्बुओं में वे शिकायत करते रहे! हमारे पूर्वजों ने परमेश्वर की बात मानने से नकारा।

But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.

सो परमेश्वर ने शपथ खाई कि वे मरूभुमि में मर जायेंगे।

Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

परमेश्वर ने कसम खाई कि उनकी सन्तानों को अन्य लोगों को हराने देगा। परमेश्वर ने कसम उठाई कि वह हमारे पूर्वजों को देशों में छितरायेगा।

To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

फिर परमेश्वर के लोग बालपोर में बाल के पूजने में सम्मिलित हो गये। परमेश्वर के लोग वह माँस खाने लगे जिस को निर्जीव देवताओं पर चढ़ाया गया था।

They joined themselves also unto Baal–peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

परमेश्वर अपने जनों पर अति कुपित हुआ। और परमेश्वर ने उनको अति दुर्बल कर दिया।

Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.

किन्तु पीनहास ने विनती की और परमेश्वर ने उस व्याधि को रोका।

Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

किन्तु परमेश्वर जानता था कि पीनहास ने अति उत्तम कर्म किया है। और परमेश्वर उसे सदा सदा याद रखेगा।

And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

मरीब में लोग भड़क उठे और उन्होंने मूसा से बुरा काम कराया।

They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:

उन लोगों ने मूसा को अति व्याकुल किया। सो मूसा बिना ही विचारे बोल उठा।

Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.

यहोवा ने लोगों से कहा कि कनान में रह रहे अन्य लोगों को वे नष्ट करें। किन्तु इस्राएली लोगों ने परमेश्वर की नहीं मानी।

They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:

इस्राएल के लोग अन्य लोगों से हिल मिल गये, और वे भी वैसे काम करने लगे जैसे अन्य लोग किया करते थे।

But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

वे अन्य लोग परमेश्वर के जनों के लिये फँदा बन गये। परमेश्वर के लोग उन देवों को पूजने लगेजिनकी वे अन्य लोग पूजा किया करते थे।

And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

यहाँ तक कि परमेश्वर के जन अपने ही बालकों की हत्या करने लगे। और वे उन बच्चों को उन दानवों की प्रतिमा को अर्पित करने लगे।

Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

परमेश्वर के लोगों ने अबोध भोले जनों की हत्या की। उन्होंने अपने ही बच्चों को मार डाला और उन झूठे देवों को उन्हें अर्पित किया।

And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

इस तरह परमेश्वर के जन उन पापों से अशुद्ध हुए जो अन्य लोगों के थे। वे लोग अपने परमेश्वर के अविश्वासपात्र हुए। और वे लोग वैसे काम करने लगे जैसे अन्य लोग करते थे।

Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

परमेश्वर अपने उन लोगों पर कुपित हुआ। परमेश्वर उनसे तंग आ चुका था!

Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

फिर परमेश्वर ने अपने उन लोगों को अन्य जातियों को दे दिया। परमेश्वर ने उन पर उनके शत्रुओं का शासन करा दिया।

And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

परमेश्वर के जनों के शत्रुओं ने उन पर अधिकार किया और उनका जीना बहुत कठिन कर दिया।

Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

परमेश्वर ने निज भक्तों को बहुत बार बचाया, किन्तु उन्होंने परमेश्वर से मुख मोड़ लिया। और वे ऐसी बातें करने लगे जिन्हें वे करना चाहते थे। परमेश्वर के लोगों ने बहुत बहुत बुरी बातें की।

Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

किन्तु जब कभी परमेश्वर के जनों पर विपद पड़ी उन्होंने सदा ही सहायाता पाने को परमेश्वर को पुकारा। परमेश्वर ने हर बार उनकी प्रार्थनाएँ सुनी।

Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:

परमेश्वर ने सदा अपनी वाचा को याद रखा। परमेश्वर ने अपने महा प्रेम से उनको सदा ही सुख चैन दिया।

And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

परमेश्वर के भक्तों को उन अन्य लोगों ने बंदी बना लिया, किन्तु परमेश्वर ने उनके मन में उनके लिये दया उपजाई।

He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.

यहोवा हमारे परमेश्वर, ने हमारी रक्षा की। परमेश्वर उन अन्य देशों से हमको एकत्र करके ले आया, ताकि हम उसके पवित्र नाम का गुण गान कर सके: ताकि हम उसके प्रशंसा गीत गा सकें।

Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा को धन्य कहो। परमेश्वर सदा ही जीवित रहता आया है। वह सदा ही जीवित रहेगा। और सब जन बोले, “आमीन।” यहोवा के गुण गाओ।

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.
