Psalms 107

O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

(По слав. 106) Славете ГОСПОДА, защото е благ, защото Неговата милост е вечна!

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

Нека казват така изкупените на ГОСПОДА, които Той изкупи от ръката на врага,

And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

и събра от страните — от изток и от запад, от север и от морето.

They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

Те се скитаха в пустинята, по пуст път и не намираха населен град;

Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.

гладни и жадни, душата им примираше в тях.

Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

Тогава извикаха към ГОСПОДА в бедствието си и Той ги избави от притесненията им.

And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.

И ги поведе по прав път, за да стигнат до населен град.

Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Нека прославят ГОСПОДА за Неговата милост и за чудните Му дела към човешките синове,

For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

защото насити жадната душа и изпълни гладната душа с добрини!

Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;

Имаше и такива, които седяха в тъмнина и в сянката на смъртта, вързани в скръб и железа,

Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:

защото се разбунтуваха срещу Божиите слова и презряха съвета на Всевишния.

Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.

И Той смири сърцето им с труд; те се спънаха и нямаше помощник.

Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

Тогава викнаха към ГОСПОДА в бедствието си и Той ги спаси от притесненията им.

He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.

Изведе ги от тъмнината и сянката на смъртта и разкъса оковите им.

Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Нека прославят ГОСПОДА за Неговата милост и за чудните Му дела към човешките синове,

For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.

защото разби бронзовите порти и строши железните резета!

Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

Безумните са в скръб поради престъпния си път и поради беззаконията си.

Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.

Душата им се гнуси от всякакво ястие и те се докосват до портите на смъртта.

Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.

Тогава викнаха към ГОСПОДА в бедствието си и Той ги спаси от притесненията им.

He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Изпраща словото Си и ги изцелява, и спасява живота им от рова.

Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Нека прославят ГОСПОДА за Неговата милост и за чудните Му дела към човешките синове!

And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

Нека принасят жертви на благодарност и да провъзгласяват радостно делата Му!

They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

Има и такива, които излизат в морето с кораби, търгуват в големи води.

These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.

Те виждат делата на ГОСПОДА и Неговите чудеса в дълбините.

For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

Той заповядва и вдига бурния вятър, който повдига вълните му.

They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

Издигат се до небесата, слизат в бездните, душата им се топи в бедствието.

They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end.

Люлеят се и се клатушкат като пиян и цялата им мъдрост им изневерява.

Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.

Тогава извикаха към ГОСПОДА в бедствието си и Той ги изведе от притесненията им.

He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

Обръща бурята в тишина и вълните им утихват.

Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

Тогава те се радват, защото се успокояват, и Той ги завежда в желаното им пристанище.

Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Нека прославят ГОСПОДА за Неговата милост и за чудните Му дела към човешките синове!

Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

Нека Го възвисяват в събранието на народа и нека Го хвалят в заседанието на старейшините!

He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;

Той превръща реки в пустиня и водни извори — в суша,

A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

плодородна земя — в солена пустош поради нечестието на жителите й.

He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.

Превръща пустиня във водни езера и суха земя — във водни извори.

And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;

И заселва там гладните и те основават град за живеене.

And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.

И посяват ниви и засаждат лозя, които дават плодовете на реколтата.

He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.

И Той ги благославя и те се умножават много, и Той не оставя добитъка им да намалее.

Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.

Те намаляват и се унижават от гнет, скръб и мъка.

He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.

Той излива презрение върху князете и ги кара да се скитат в пустинята без път,

Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.

а бедния издига от унижение и прави родовете му като стада.

The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.

Праведните виждат това и се радват, и всяко беззаконие ще затвори устата си.

Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.

Който е мъдър, нека внимава в това и ще разберат ГОСПОДНИТЕ милости!
