Psalms 37

Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

(По слав. 36) Псалм на Давид. Не се раздразнявай заради злодеите и не завиждай на онези, които вършат беззаконие,

For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

защото скоро ще се окосят като трева и като зелена трева ще повехнат.

Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Уповавай се на ГОСПОДА и върши добро, населявай земята и пази истината.

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Наслаждавай се в ГОСПОДА и Той ще ти даде желанията на сърцето ти.

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Предай на ГОСПОДА пътя си и се уповавай на Него, и Той ще действа.

And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

Ще изведе наяве правдата ти като светлината и правото ти като пладне.

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Облегни се на ГОСПОДА и Го чакай. Не се раздразнявай заради онзи, който преуспява в пътя си, заради човека, който осъществява зли замисли.

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

Престани да се гневиш и остави яростта, не се раздразнявай — това води само към вършене на зло.

For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Защото злодеите ще бъдат отсечени, а онези, които чакат ГОСПОДА, те ще наследят земята.

For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

Защото още малко, и безбожния няма да го има вече, ще търсиш мястото му, но няма да е там.

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

А смирените ще наследят земята и ще се наслаждават в изобилен мир.

The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

Безбожният прави заговор против праведния и със зъби скърца против него.

The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

Господ му се смее, защото вижда, че денят му идва.

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

Безбожните извадиха меча и опънаха лъка си, за да повалят сиромаха и бедния, за да заколят ходещите в правда.

Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

Мечът им ще се забие в собственото им сърце и лъковете им ще се строшат.

A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

По-добре малкото на праведния, отколкото изобилието на мнозина безбожни.

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.

Защото ръцете на безбожните ще се строшат, а ГОСПОД подкрепя праведните.

The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

ГОСПОД знае дните на непорочните и тяхното наследство ще бъде вечно.

They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

Те няма да се посрамят във време на зло и в дни на глад ще бъдат сити.

But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

А безбожните ще се изтребят и враговете на ГОСПОДА ще бъдат като агнешката тлъстина — ще изчезнат, в дим ще изчезнат.

The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

Безбожният взема назаем и не връща, а праведният е милостив и дава.

For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

Защото благословените от Него ще наследят земята, а проклетите от Него ще се изтребят.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Стъпките на човека се утвърждават от ГОСПОДА и неговият път Му е угоден.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

Когато падне, няма да бъде повален, защото ГОСПОД подпира ръката му.

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Млад бях, ето, остарях, но не видях праведния оставен, нито потомството му да проси хляб.

He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

Цял ден е милостив и дава назаем, и потомството му е за благословение.

Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

Отклонявай се от злото и върши добро, и ще населяваш вечно земята.

For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Защото ГОСПОД обича правда и няма да остави Своите светии — те ще бъдат опазени до века, а потомството на безбожните ще се изтреби.

The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

Праведните ще наследят земята и ще живеят на нея вечно.

The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

Устата на праведния произнася мъдрост и езикът му говори правда.

The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

Законът на неговия Бог е в сърцето му, стъпките му не ще се подхлъзнат.

The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.

Безбожният дебне праведния и търси да го убие.

The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

ГОСПОД няма да го остави в ръката му и няма да го осъди, когато бъде съден.

Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

Чакай ГОСПОДА и пази Неговия път, и Той ще те възвиши да наследиш земята; ще гледаш, когато се изтребват безбожните.

I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

Видях безбожния в голяма мощ да се разпростира като зелено дърво на мястото си;

Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

но премина, и ето, нямаше го; търсих го и не се намери.

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

Забележи непорочния и гледай праведния, защото човекът на мира ще има бъдеще,

But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

а отстъпилите от Бога ще се изтребят всички, бъдещето на безбожните ще се отсече.

But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

Но спасението на праведните е от ГОСПОДА; Той е тяхната крепост във време на беда.

And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

И ГОСПОД ще им помогне и ще ги избави, ще ги избави от безбожните и ще ги спаси, понеже на Него се уповаха.
