Job 33

Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

Затова Йове, чуй словото ми и изслушай всичките ми думи.

Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

Ето, сега отварям устата си, езикът ми говори на небцето ми.

My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

Думите ми идват от правотата на сърцето ми и устните ми ясно ще говорят знание.

The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

Духът на Бога ме е сътворил, дъхът на Всемогъщия живот ми дава.

If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.

Ако можеш ти, отговори ми, приготви се и пред мене застани.

Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.

Наистина, аз съм твой говорител пред Бога, и аз също съм откъснат от калта.

Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.

Ето, страх от мене няма да те ужасява, нито ръката ми ще тежи върху теб.

Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,

Ти наистина говори пред ушите ми, гласа на думите ти чух:

I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

Чист съм и без престъпление, невинен съм, в мен няма беззаконие.

Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,

Ето, Той поводи намира против мен, счита ме за враг Свой,

He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.

слага краката ми в клада, всичките ми пътеки наблюдава.

Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

Ето, в това ти не си прав — отговарям ти — защото Бог е по-възвишен от човека.

Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.

Защо спориш с Него, че не дава отчет за ни едно от делата си?

For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

Наистина Бог говори веднъж или два пъти, но човекът не внимава:

In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

в сън, в нощно видение, когато дълбок сън хората напада, когато дремят на леглата си,

Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,

тогава Той отваря на хората ушите и запечатва в тях поука,

That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

за да отвърне човека от делата му, да изтръгне от човека гордостта,

He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

да предпази от рова душата му и животът му от меч да не загине.

He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

Бива наказван и с болки в леглото си, и с непрекъснато страдание в костите си,

So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.

и животът му от хляб се отвращава, а душата му — от вкусно ястие.

His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

Плътта му чезне и не е за гледане, незабележимите му кости се подават.

Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

И душата му до гроба приближава и при палачите — животът му.

If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

Ако има пратеник за него, посредник, един между хиляда, да извести на човека задължението му,

Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

тогаз ще се смили над него и ще каже: Избави го, да не слезе в рова, намерих откуп.

His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:

Плътта му ще е свежа като на младеж, в дните на младежката си сила ще се върне.

He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

Ще се моли на Бога и Той ще бъде добромислен към него, ще гледа лицето Му с радост, защото Бог ще възвърне на човека правдата Си.

He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

Тогава той ще пее пред хората и ще казва: Съгреших и изкривих правото, но той не ми отплати.

He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

Той избави душата ми да не слезе във рова и животът ми ще види светлината!

Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,

Ето, Бог върши всичко това два или три пъти с човека,

To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

за да отвърне душата му от рова, да бъде просветлен със светлината на живота.

Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.

Внимавай, Йове, слушай ме, мълчи, и ще говоря.

If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.

Отговори ми, ако имаш думи; говори, защото аз желая да те оправдая.

If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.

Но ако не, то ти ме слушай; мълчи, и аз ще те поуча в мъдрост.
