Proverbs 15

Мек отговор отклонява ярост, а оскърбителна дума възбужда гняв.

A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Езикът на мъдрите украсява знание, а устата на безумните изригват глупост.

The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

Очите на ГОСПОДА са на всяко място и наблюдават злите и добрите.

The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Благият език е дърво на живот, а лъжливостта в него е съкрушение на духа.

A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

Безумният презира поучението на баща си, но който зачита поправлението, е благоразумен.

A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.

В дома на праведния има голямо изобилие, а в доходите на безбожния има разсипия.

In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.

Устните на мъдрите разпръскват знание, а сърцата на безумните не правят така.

The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.

Жертвата на безбожните е мерзост за ГОСПОДА, а молитвата на праведните Му е благоугодна.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

Пътят на безбожния е мерзост за ГОСПОДА, а Той обича този, който следва правдата.

The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.

Има тежко наказание за онзи, който оставя пътя; който мрази изобличение, ще умре.

Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.

Шеол и Авадон са открити пред ГОСПОДА, колко повече сърцата на човешките синове!

Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?

Присмивателят не обича този, който го изобличава, нито отива при мъдрите.

A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.

Весело сърце прави засмяно лице, а от скръбта на сърцето духът се угнетява.

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Сърцето на разумния търси знание, а устата на безумните се храни с глупост.

The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.

Всички дни на наскърбения са зли, а весело сърце е непрекъснат празник.

All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.

По-добре малко със страха от ГОСПОДА, отколкото голямо съкровище с безпокойство.

Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.

По-добрЕ постно ястие с любов, отколкото угоен вол с омраза.

Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.

Гневливият човек предизвиква раздори, а дълготърпеливият потушава кавгата.

A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.

Пътят на ленивия е като изплетен с тръни, а пътят на праведните е изравнен.

The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.

Мъдър син радва баща си, а безумен човек презира майка си.

A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.

Глупостта е радост за неразумния, а разумният човек ходи право.

Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.

Където няма съвет, намеренията се осуетяват, а в множеството на съветниците се утвърждават.

Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.

Човек има радост от отговора на устата си и дума на време — колко е добра!

A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!

За разумния пътят на живота е нагоре, за да се отклони от Шеол долу.

The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

ГОСПОД съсипва дома на горделивите, а утвърждава междата на вдовицата.

The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow.

Замислите на злия са мерзост за ГОСПОДА, а угодните думи са чисти.

The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.

Користолюбивият разсипва дома си, а който мрази подкупите, ще живее.

He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.

Сърцето на праведния обмисля как да отговори, а устата на безбожните изригва зло.

The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

ГОСПОД е далеч от безбожните, но чува молитвата на праведните.

The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

Светлината на очите весели сърцето и добри вести освежават костите.

The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.

Ухо, което слуша изобличението на живот, ще пребивава между мъдрите.

The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.

Който пренебрегва изобличение, презира душата си, а който слуша изобличение, придобива разум.

He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.

Страхът от ГОСПОДА е наставление в мъдрост и смирението предхожда славата.

The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
