John 6

After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.

След това Иисус премина на отвъдната страна на Галилейското, тоест Тивериадското езеро.

And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.

А едно голямо множество Го следваше; защото гледаха знаменията, които вършеше над болните.

And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.

И Иисус се изкачи на хълма и седеше там с учениците Си.

And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

А наближаваше Пасхата, юдейският празник.

When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

Иисус, като повдигна очи и видя, че към Него идва голямо множество, каза на Филип: Откъде да купим хляб, за да ядат тези?

And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.

А това каза, за да го изпита; защото Той самият знаеше какво щеше да направи.

Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

Филип Му отговори: За двеста динария хляб няма да им стигне, за да вземе всеки по малко.

One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,

Един от учениците Му, Андрей, брат на Симон Петър, Му каза:

There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?

Тук има едно момченце, у което се намират пет ечемични хляба и две риби; но какво са те за толкова хора?

And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

Иисус каза: Накарайте хората да насядат. А на това място имаше много трева. И така, насядаха около пет хиляди мъже на брой.

And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

Иисус взе хлябовете и като благодари, ги раздаде на учениците, а учениците на седналите; също така и от рибите, колкото искаха.

When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

И като се наситиха, каза на учениците Си: Съберете останалите къшеи, за да не се изгуби нищо.

Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

И така, от петте ечемични хляба събраха и напълниха дванадесет коша с къшеи, останали от тези, които бяха яли.

Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

Тогава хората, като видяха знамението, което Иисус извърши, казаха: Наистина Този е Пророкът, който щеше да дойде на света.

When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

А Иисус, като разбра, че ще дойдат да Го вземат насила, за да Го направят цар, пак се оттегли сам на хълма.

And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,

А когато се свечери, учениците Му слязоха при езерото

And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.

и влязоха в кораб, и потеглиха към другата страна на езерото, към Капернаум. И вече се беше стъмнило, а Иисус не беше дошъл при тях.

And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

И езерото се вълнуваше, защото духаше силен вятър.

So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

И когато бяха гребали около двадесет и пет или тридесет стадия, видяха Иисус да ходи по езерото и да се приближава към кораба; и се уплашиха.

But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

Но Той им каза: Аз съм; не се бойте!

Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.

Тогава те с желание Го взеха в кораба и веднага корабът се намери при сушата, към която отиваха.

The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;

На другия ден, когато множеството, което стоеше отвъд езерото, видя, че там няма друга лодка, освен тази, в която бяха влезли учениците Му, и че Иисус не беше влязъл в кораба с учениците Си, а учениците Му бяха тръгнали сами,

(Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)

обаче други лодки бяха дошли от Тивериада близо до мястото, където бяха яли хляба, след като Господ беше благодарил;

When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.

и така, когато множеството видя, че Иисус Го няма там, нито учениците Му, те сами влязоха в корабите и отидоха в Капернаум, като търсеха Иисус.

And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?

И като Го намериха от другата страна на езерото, Му казаха: Равви, кога си дошъл тук?

Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

В отговор Иисус им каза: Истина, истина ви казвам: търсите Ме не защото видяхте знамения, а защото ядохте от хлябовете и се наситихте.

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Работете не за храна, която се разваля, а за храна, която трае за вечен живот, която Човешкият Син ще ви даде; защото Бог Отец Него е потвърдил с печата Си.

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

Затова те Му казаха: Какво да правим, за да вършим Божиите дела?

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Иисус в отговор им каза: Това е Божието дело – да повярвате в Този, когото Той е пратил.

They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

Тогава Му казаха: А Ти какво знамение правиш, за да видим и да Ти повярваме? Какво вършиш?

Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

Бащите ни са яли манна в пустинята, както е писано: ?Хляб от небето им даде да ядат.“

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

На това Иисус им каза: Истина, истина ви казвам: не Мойсей ви даде хляба от небето, а Моят Отец ви дава истинския хляб от небето.

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

Защото Божият хляб е този, който слиза от небето и дава живот на света.

Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

А те Му казаха: Господи, давай ни винаги този хляб.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Иисус им каза: Аз съм хлябът на живота; който дойде при Мен, никога няма да огладнее и който вярва в Мен, никога няма да ожаднее.

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

Но казах ви, че вие Ме видяхте, и пак не вярвате.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Всичко, което Ми дава Отец, ще дойде при Мен, и който дойде при Мен, никак няма да го изпъдя;

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

защото слязох от небето не Моята воля да върша, а волята на Този, който Ме е пратил.

And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Това е волята на Моя Отец, който Ме е пратил: от всичко, което Ми е дал, да не изгубя нищо, а да го възкреся в последния ден.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

И това е волята на Този, който Ме е пратил: всеки, който види Сина и повярва в Него, да има вечен живот, и Аз ще го възкреся в последния ден.

The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

Тогава юдеите зароптаха против Него, защото каза: Аз съм хлябът, който е слязъл от небето.

And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?

И казаха: Не е ли Този Иисус, синът на Йосиф, чиито баща и майка ние познаваме? Как тогава Той казва: Аз съм слязъл от небето?

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

Иисус в отговор им каза: Не роптайте помежду си.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Никой не може да дойде при Мен, ако не го привлече Отец, който Ме е пратил, и Аз ще го възкреся в последния ден.

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Писано е в пророците: ?Всички ще бъдат научени от Бога.“ Всеки, който е чул от Отца и се е научил, идва при Мен.

Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Не че някой е видял Отца, освен Онзи, който е от Бога; Той е видял Отца.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Истина, истина ви казвам: който вярва в Мен, има вечен живот.

I am that bread of life.

Аз съм хлябът на живота.

Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

Бащите ви ядоха манна в пустинята и измряха.

This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

Това е хлябът, който слиза от небето, за да яде човек от него и да не умре.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Аз съм живият хляб, който е слязъл от небето. Ако яде някой от този хляб, ще живее до века; и хлябът, който Аз ще дам, е Моята плът, (която Аз ще дам) за живота на света.

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

Тогава юдеите започнаха да се карат помежду си, като казваха: Как може Този да ни даде да ядем плътта Му?

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Затова Иисус им каза: Истина, истина ви казвам: ако не ядете плътта на Човешкия Син и не пиете кръвта Му, нямате живот в себе си.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Който яде Моята плът и пие Моята кръв, има вечен живот; и Аз ще го възкреся в последния ден.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

Защото Моята плът е истинска храна и Моята кръв е истинско питие.

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

Който се храни с Моята плът и пие Моята кръв, стои в Мен и Аз в него.

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

Както живият Отец Ме е пратил и Аз живея чрез Отца, така и онзи, който се храни с Мен, ще живее чрез Мен.

This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

Това е хлябът, който слезе от небето; а не както бащите ви ядоха манна и измряха. Онзи, който се храни с този хляб, ще живее до века.

These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

Това Иисус каза в синагогата, като поучаваше в Капернаум.

Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

Тогава мнозина от учениците Му, като чуха това, казаха: Тежко е това слово; кой може да го слуша?

When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

Но Иисус, като знаеше в Себе Си, че учениците Му за това роптаят, им каза: Това ли ви препъва?

What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

Тогава какво ще кажете, ако видите Човешкия Син да възлиза там, където е бил преди?

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Духът е, който дава живот; плътта нищо не ползва. Думите, които ви говоря, са дух и живот.

But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

Но има някои от вас, които не вярват. Защото Иисус отначало знаеше кои са невярващите и кой е този, който щеше да Го предаде.

And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

И каза: Затова ви казах, че никой не може да дойде при Мен, ако не Му е дадено от Моя Отец.

From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

Поради това мнозина от учениците Му се върнаха назад и повече не ходеха с Него.

Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

Тогава Иисус каза на дванадесетте: Да не искате и вие да си отидете?

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Симон Петър Му отговори: Господи, при кого да отидем? Ти имаш думи на вечен живот;

And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

и ние повярвахме и познахме, че Ти си (Христос, Синът на живия Бог,) Светият Божи.

Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Иисус им отговори: Не Аз ли избрах вас дванадесетте, и един от вас е дявол?

He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

А Той говореше за Юда Симонов Искариотски; защото той, един от дванадесетте, щеше да Го предаде.
