Job 36

Elihu also proceeded, and said,

Тогава Елиу продължи и каза:

Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.

Потърпи ме малко и аз ще ти разкажа, че има още думи за Бога.

I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

Ще донеса знанието си отдалеч и ще отдам правда на Създателя си.

For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.

Защото думите ми наистина не са лъжа, един съвършен в знание е при теб.

Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.

Ето, Бог е мощен, но не презира никого, мощен е в сила на мъдрост.

He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.

Той не пази живота на безбожния, а въздава правосъдие на сиромасите.

He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.

Не оттегля очите Си от праведните, а ги слага да седят с царе на престола завинаги и те са възвисени.

And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;

И ако са вързани с вериги, хванати с въжетата на скръб,

Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.

тогава Той им изявява делата им и престъпленията им — че са се възгордели.

He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.

Отваря и ухото им за наставление и заповядва да се върнат от греха.

If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Ако те послушат и Му служат, ще свършат дните си в благополучие, годините си в удоволствия.

But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

Но ако не послушат, от меч ще загинат, ще умрат без знание.

But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.

А лицемерните по сърце натрупват гняв и не викат за помощ, когато Той ги връзва.

They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.

Душата им умира в младост и животът им — сред посветените блудници.

He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.

Той избавя скръбния в скръбта му и в бедствие ушите им отваря.

Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.

Така и тебе би извел от притеснение в широко място, дето няма теснота; и предлаганото на трапезата ти би било пълно с тлъстина.

But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.

Но ти си изпълнен със съда на безбожните, съд и правосъдие ще те постигнат.

Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.

Понеже има ярост, внимавай да не те подмами да се подиграеш!

Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.

Богатствата ти и всички усилия на мощта ти ще те опазят ли от бедствието?

Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.

Не копней за нощта, когато хората се отсичат на мястото си.

Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.

Внимавай! Не се обръщай към беззаконието, защото пред скръбта това си предпочел.

Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?

Ето, Бог е възвишен в мощта Си, кой поучава като Него?

Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?

Кой Му е предписал пътя Му и кой ще каже: Вършиш беззаконие?

Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.

Помни да възвеличаваш Неговото дело, което хората възпяват.

Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.

Всеки човек го вижда, смъртният го гледа отдалеч.

Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

Ето, Бог е велик, и ние не Го познаваме; и броят на годините Му е неизследим.

For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:

Защото Той привлича водните капки, които валят като дъжд от мъглата Му,

Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.

които облаците изпускат и изливат върху многото хора.

Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?

Може ли някой да разбере разпростирането на облаците и гърмежите на скинията Му?

Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.

Ето, Той разпръсва около Себе Си светлината Си и покрива морските дъна,

For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.

защото чрез тях съди народите, дава храна в изобилие.

With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.

Въоръжава ръцете Си със светкавицата и й заповядва къде да удари.

The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.

Шумът й известява за това, а също и добитъкът — за надигащата се буря.
