Psalms 69

داؤد کا زبور۔ طرز: سوسن کے پھول۔ موسیقی کے راہنما کے لئے۔ اے اللہ، مجھے بچا! کیونکہ پانی میرے گلے تک پہنچ گیا ہے۔

Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.

مَیں گہری دلدل میں دھنس گیا ہوں، کہیں پاؤں جمانے کی جگہ نہیں ملتی۔ مَیں پانی کی گہرائیوں میں آ گیا ہوں، سیلاب مجھ پر غالب آ گیا ہے۔

I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

مَیں چلّاتے چلّاتے تھک گیا ہوں۔ میرا گلا بیٹھ گیا ہے۔ اپنے خدا کا انتظار کرتے کرتے میری آنکھیں دُھندلا گئیں۔

I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

جو بلاوجہ مجھ سے کینہ رکھتے ہیں وہ میرے سر کے بالوں سے زیادہ ہیں، جو بےسبب میرے دشمن ہیں اور مجھے تباہ کرنا چاہتے ہیں وہ طاقت ور ہیں۔ جو کچھ مَیں نے نہیں لُوٹا اُسے مجھ سے طلب کیا جاتا ہے۔

They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

اے اللہ، تُو میری حماقت سے واقف ہے، میرا قصور تجھ سے پوشیدہ نہیں ہے۔

O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

اے قادرِ مطلق رب الافواج، جو تیرے انتظار میں رہتے ہیں وہ میرے باعث شرمندہ نہ ہوں۔ اے اسرائیل کے خدا، میرے باعث تیرے طالب کی رُسوائی نہ ہو۔

Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

کیونکہ تیری خاطر مَیں شرمندگی برداشت کر رہا ہوں، تیری خاطر میرا چہرہ شرم سار ہی رہتا ہے۔

Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.

مَیں اپنے سگے بھائیوں کے نزدیک اجنبی اور اپنی ماں کے بیٹوں کے نزدیک پردیسی بن گیا ہوں۔

I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.

کیونکہ تیرے گھر کی غیرت مجھے کھا گئی ہے، جو تجھے گالیاں دیتے ہیں اُن کی گالیاں مجھ پر آ گئی ہیں۔

For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

جب مَیں روزہ رکھ کر روتا تھا تو لوگ میرا مذاق اُڑاتے تھے۔

When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

جب ماتمی لباس پہنے پھرتا تھا تو اُن کے لئے عبرت انگیز مثال بن گیا۔

I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.

جو بزرگ شہر کے دروازے پر بیٹھے ہیں وہ میرے بارے میں گپیں ہانکتے ہیں۔ شرابی مجھے اپنے طنز بھرے گیتوں کا نشانہ بناتے ہیں۔

They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

لیکن اے رب، میری تجھ سے دعا ہے کہ مَیں تجھے دوبارہ منظور ہو جاؤں۔ اے اللہ، اپنی عظیم شفقت کے مطابق میری سن، اپنی یقینی نجات کے مطابق مجھے بچا۔

But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

مجھے دلدل سے نکال تاکہ غرق نہ ہو جاؤں۔ مجھے اُن سے چھٹکارا دے جو مجھ سے نفرت کرتے ہیں۔ پانی کی گہرائیوں سے مجھے بچا۔

Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

سیلاب مجھ پر غالب نہ آئے، سمندر کی گہرائی مجھے ہڑپ نہ کر لے، گڑھا میرے اوپر اپنا منہ بند نہ کر لے۔

Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

اے رب، میری سن، کیونکہ تیری شفقت بھلی ہے۔ اپنے عظیم رحم کے مطابق میری طرف رجوع کر۔

Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

اپنا چہرہ اپنے خادم سے چھپائے نہ رکھ، کیونکہ مَیں مصیبت میں ہوں۔ جلدی سے میری سن!

And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

قریب آ کر میری جان کا فدیہ دے، میرے دشمنوں کے سبب سے عوضانہ دے کر مجھے چھڑا۔

Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.

تُو میری رُسوائی، میری شرمندگی اور تذلیل سے واقف ہے۔ تیری آنکھیں میرے تمام دشمنوں پر لگی رہتی ہیں۔

Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.

اُن کے طعنوں سے میرا دل ٹوٹ گیا ہے، مَیں بیمار پڑ گیا ہوں۔ مَیں ہم دردی کے انتظار میں رہا، لیکن بےفائدہ۔ مَیں نے توقع کی کہ کوئی مجھے دلاسا دے، لیکن ایک بھی نہ ملا۔

Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

اُنہوں نے میری خوراک میں کڑوا زہر ملایا، مجھے سرکہ پلایا جب پیاسا تھا۔

They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

اُن کی میز اُن کے لئے پھندا اور اُن کے ساتھیوں کے لئے جال بن جائے۔

Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

اُن کی آنکھیں تاریک ہو جائیں تاکہ وہ دیکھ نہ سکیں۔ اُن کی کمر ہمیشہ تک ڈگمگاتی رہے۔

Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.

اپنا پورا غصہ اُن پر اُتار، تیرا سخت غضب اُن پر آ پڑے۔

Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.

اُن کی رہائش گاہ سنسان ہو جائے اور کوئی اُن کے خیموں میں آباد نہ ہو،

Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

کیونکہ جسے تُو ہی نے سزا دی اُسے وہ ستاتے ہیں، جسے تُو ہی نے زخمی کیا اُس کا دُکھ دوسروں کو سنا کر خوش ہوتے ہیں۔

For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.

اُن کے قصور کا سختی سے حساب کتاب کر، وہ تیرے سامنے راست باز نہ ٹھہریں۔

Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.

اُنہیں کتابِ حیات سے مٹایا جائے، اُن کا نام راست بازوں کی فہرست میں درج نہ ہو۔

Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

ہائے، مَیں مصیبت میں پھنسا ہوا ہوں، مجھے بہت درد ہے۔ اے اللہ، تیری نجات مجھے محفوظ رکھے۔

But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.

مَیں اللہ کے نام کی مدح سرائی کروں گا، شکرگزاری سے اُس کی تعظیم کروں گا۔

I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

یہ رب کو بَیل یا سینگ اور کُھر رکھنے والے سانڈ سے کہیں زیادہ پسند آئے گا۔

This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

حلیم اللہ کا کام دیکھ کر خوش ہو جائیں گے۔ اے اللہ کے طالبو، تسلی پاؤ!

The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

کیونکہ رب محتاجوں کی سنتا اور اپنے قیدیوں کو حقیر نہیں جانتا۔

For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

آسمان و زمین اُس کی تمجید کریں، سمندر اور جو کچھ اُس میں حرکت کرتا ہے اُس کی ستائش کرے۔

Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.

کیونکہ اللہ صیون کو نجات دے کر یہوداہ کے شہروں کو تعمیر کرے گا، اور اُس کے خادم اُن پر قبضہ کر کے اُن میں آباد ہو جائیں گے۔

For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.

اُن کی اولاد ملک کو میراث میں پائے گی، اور اُس کے نام سے محبت رکھنے والے اُس میں بسے رہیں گے۔

The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
