Luke 23

Тогава цялото тяхно множество стана и Го заведе при Пилат.

And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.

И започнаха да Го обвиняват, казвайки: Намерихме Този, че развращава народа ни, забранява да се дава данък на императора, като казва за Себе Си, че е Христос, Цар.

And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Cæsar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

А Пилат Го попита и каза: Ти ли си юдейският Цар? А Той в отговор му каза: Ти казваш.

And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.

И Пилат каза на главните свещеници и на множествата: Аз не намирам никаква вина в този Човек.

Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.

А те още по-настойчиво казваха: Той вълнува народа, защото поучава по цяла Юдея, като е почнал от Галилея и е стигнал до тук.

And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

А Пилат, като чу за Галилея, попита дали Човекът е галилеянин.

When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilæan.

И като узна, че е от областта на Ирод, Го изпрати при Ирод, който през тези дни беше също в Ерусалим.

And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.

А Ирод, като видя Иисус, много се зарадва, защото отдавна желаеше да Го види, понеже беше слушал за Него; и се надяваше да види някое знамение от Него.

And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

И Го запитваше с много думи, но Той нищо не му отговори.

Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.

А главните свещеници и книжниците стояха и Го обвиняваха яростно.

And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.

Но Ирод с войниците си, след като Го унизи и подигра, Го облече във великолепна дреха и Го изпрати обратно при Пилат.

And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.

В същия ден Пилат и Ирод се сприятелиха помежду си, защото преди враждуваха един против друг.

And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.

Тогава Пилат свика главните свещеници, началниците и народа и им каза:

And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

Доведохте ми този Човек като един, който развращава народа; но ето, аз Го разпитах пред вас и не намерих в този Човек никаква вина относно онова, в което Го обвинявате;

Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:

нито пък Ирод е намерил, защото Го е изпратил обратно до нас. И ето, Той не е сторил нищо, което заслужава смъртно наказание.

No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

И така, след като Го накажа, ще Го пусна.

I will therefore chastise him, and release him.

(А той беше задължен да им пуска за празника по един затворник.)

(For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)

Но те всички изкрещяха в един глас, казвайки: Махни Този и ни пусни Варава;

And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

който беше хвърлен в тъмница за някаква размирица, станала в града, и за убийство.

(Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)

И Пилат пак им извика, като желаеше да пусне Иисус.

Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.

А те крещяха, казвайки: Разпъни Го! Разпъни Го!

But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

А той трети път им каза: Че какво зло е сторил Той? Аз не намирам в Него нищо, за което да заслужава смърт. Затова, след като Го накажа, ще Го пусна.

And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.

Но те настояваха със силни викове, като искаха да бъде разпънат; и техните викове надделяха.

And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

И Пилат реши да бъде, както искат те,

And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.

и им пусна онзи, когото искаха, който за размирица и убийство беше хвърлен в тъмница, а Иисус предаде на волята им.

And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

И когато Го поведоха, хванаха някого си Симон от Киринея, който се връщаше от нива, и сложиха на него кръста, за да го носи след Иисус.

And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

И Го следваше голямо множество от народ и жени, които плачеха за Него.

And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

А Иисус се обърна към тях и каза: Дъщери ерусалимски, не плачете за Мен, а плачете за себе си и за децата си,

But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

защото ето, идат дни, когато ще кажат: Блажени безплодните и утробите, които не са раждали, и гърдите, които не са кърмили.

For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

Тогава ще започнат да казват на планините: Паднете върху нас!, и на хълмовете: Покрийте ни!

Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

Защото, ако правят това със суровото дърво, какво ще правят със сухото?

For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

А с Него караха и други двама, които бяха злодеи, за да ги убият.

And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

И когато стигнаха на мястото, наречено Лобно, там разпънаха Него и злодеите – единият от дясната Му страна, а другият – от лявата.

And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

А Иисус каза: Отче, прости им, защото не знаят какво правят. И разделиха дрехите Му, като хвърлиха жребий.

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

А народът стоеше и гледаше. Заедно с тях Му се подиграваха и началниците, като казваха: Други е избавил; нека избави Себе Си, ако Той е Христос, Божият Избраник.

And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

Също и войниците Му се подиграваха, като се приближаваха и Му поднасяха оцет, и казваха:

And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

Ако Ти си юдейският Цар, избави Сам Себе Си.

And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

И над Него имаше и надпис, написан на гръцки, латински и еврейски: Този е юдейският Цар.

And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

И един от увисналите злодеи Го хулеше, казвайки: Ако си Ти Христос, избави Себе Си и нас!

And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

А другият в отговор го смъмри, като каза: Дори от Бога ли не се боиш, ти, който си под същото осъждане?

But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

И ние справедливо сме осъдени, защото получаваме заслуженото за това, което сме направили; а Този не е направил нищо лошо.

And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

И каза: (Господи) Иисусе, спомни си за мен, когато дойдеш в Царството Си!

And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

А (Иисус) му каза: Истина ти казвам: днес ще бъдеш с Мен в рая.

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

И беше вече около шестия час и тъмнина покриваше цялата земя до деветия час,

And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

когато слънцето потъмня; и завесата на храма се раздра през средата.

And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

И Иисус извика със силен глас и каза: Отче, в Твоите ръце предавам духа Си. И като каза това, издъхна.

And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

А стотникът, като видя станалото, прослави Бога, като каза: Наистина този Човек беше праведен.

Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

И целите множества, които се бяха събрали на това зрелище, като видяха какво стана, се връщаха, като се биеха в гърди.

And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.

А всички Негови познати и жените, които Го бяха следвали от Галилея, стояха надалеч и гледаха това.

And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.

И ето, един човек на име Йосиф, който беше съветник, човек добър и праведен,

And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:

който не се беше съгласил с решението и делото им – от юдейския град Ариматея – който и сам очакваше Божието царство,

(The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathæa, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.

отиде при Пилат и поиска тялото на Иисус.

This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.

И като Го свали, Го обви с плащаница и Го положи в гроб, изсечен в скала, където никой още не беше полаган.

And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.

Това беше денят на приготовлението и съботата настъпваше.

And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.

А жените, които бяха дошли с Него от Галилея, вървяха отзад и видяха гроба и как беше положено тялото Му.

And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.

И като се върнаха, приготвиха благоуханни масла и миро; и в съботата си почиваха според заповедта.

And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
