Psalms 103

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

داؤد کا زبور۔ اے میری جان، رب کی ستائش کر! میرا رگ و ریشہ اُس کے قدوس نام کی حمد کرے!

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

اے میری جان، رب کی ستائش کر اور جو کچھ اُس نے تیرے لئے کیا ہے اُسے بھول نہ جا۔

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

کیونکہ وہ تیرے تمام گناہوں کو معاف کرتا، تجھے تمام بیماریوں سے شفا دیتا ہے۔

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

وہ عوضانہ دے کر تیری جان کو موت کے گڑھے سے چھڑا لیتا، تیرے سر کو اپنی شفقت اور رحمت کے تاج سے آراستہ کرتا ہے۔

Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

وہ تیری زندگی کو اچھی چیزوں سے سیر کرتا ہے، اور تُو دوبارہ جوان ہو کر عقاب کی سی تقویت پاتا ہے۔

The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

رب تمام مظلوموں کے لئے راستی اور انصاف قائم کرتا ہے۔

He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

اُس نے اپنی راہیں موسیٰ پر اور اپنے عظیم کام اسرائیلیوں پر ظاہر کئے۔

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

رب رحیم اور مہربان ہے، وہ تحمل اور شفقت سے بھرپور ہے۔

He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

نہ وہ ہمیشہ ڈانٹتا رہے گا، نہ ابد تک ناراض رہے گا۔

He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

نہ وہ ہماری خطاؤں کے مطابق سزا دیتا، نہ ہمارے گناہوں کا مناسب اجر دیتا ہے۔

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

کیونکہ جتنا بلند آسمان ہے، اُتنی ہی عظیم اُس کی شفقت اُن پر ہے جو اُس کا خوف مانتے ہیں۔

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

جتنی دُور مشرق مغرب سے ہے اُتنا ہی اُس نے ہمارے قصور ہم سے دُور کر دیئے ہیں۔

Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

جس طرح باپ اپنے بچوں پر ترس کھاتا ہے اُسی طرح رب اُن پر ترس کھاتا ہے جو اُس کا خوف مانتے ہیں۔

For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

کیونکہ وہ ہماری ساخت جانتا ہے، اُسے یاد ہے کہ ہم خاک ہی ہیں۔

As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

انسان کے دن گھاس کی مانند ہیں، اور وہ جنگلی پھول کی طرح ہی پھلتا پھولتا ہے۔

For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

جب اُس پر سے ہَوا گزرے تو وہ نہیں رہتا، اور اُس کے نام و نشان کا بھی پتا نہیں چلتا۔

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

لیکن جو رب کا خوف مانیں اُن پر وہ ہمیشہ تک مہربانی کرے گا، وہ اپنی راستی اُن کے پوتوں اور نواسوں پر بھی ظاہر کرے گا۔

To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

شرط یہ ہے کہ وہ اُس کے عہد کے مطابق زندگی گزاریں اور دھیان سے اُس کے احکام پر عمل کریں۔

The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

رب نے آسمان پر اپنا تخت قائم کیا ہے، اور اُس کی بادشاہی سب پر حکومت کرتی ہے۔

Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

اے رب کے فرشتو، اُس کے طاقت ور سورماؤ، جو اُس کے فرمان پورے کرتے ہو تاکہ اُس کا کلام مانا جائے، رب کی ستائش کرو!

Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

اے تمام لشکرو، تم سب جو اُس کے خادم ہو اور اُس کی مرضی پوری کرتے ہو، رب کی ستائش کرو!

Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

تم سب جنہیں اُس نے بنایا، رب کی ستائش کرو! اُس کی سلطنت کی ہر جگہ پر اُس کی تمجید کرو۔ اے میری جان، رب کی ستائش کر!
