Proverbs 8

Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

Мъдростта не вика ли? Разумът не издига ли гласа си?

She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

Тя стои по върха на височините край пътя, там, където се срещат пътеките;

She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

вика при портите, при входа на града, при входа на вратите:

Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

Към вас, мъже, викам и гласът ми е към човешките синове.

O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

Вие, прости, разберете благоразумие! И вие, безумни, придобийте разумно сърце.

Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

Послушайте, защото ще говоря превъзходни неща и ще отворя устните си за правда.

For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

Защото устата ми ще изговори истина и безбожието е мерзост за устните ми.

All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

Всичките думи на устата ми са в правота, в тях няма нищо лукаво или криво.

They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

Те всички са ясни за разумния човек и прави за тези, които намират знание.

Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

Приемете поучението ми, а не сребро; и по-добре знание, отколкото избрано злато,

For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

защото мъдростта е по-добра от скъпоценни камъни и всичко, което човек би пожелал, не се сравнява с нея.

I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

Аз, мъдростта, обитавам с благоразумието и издирвам разсъдливо знание.

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Страхът от ГОСПОДА е да се мрази злото. Аз мразя гордост и високомерие, и зъл път, и уста лъжлива.

Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

Мои са съветът и истинската мъдрост; аз съм разум, моя е силата.

By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

Чрез мен царуват царете и управниците постановяват правда.

By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

Чрез мен владеят князете и благородните, и всички земни съдии.

I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Аз обичам тези, които ме обичат, и които ме търсят, ще ме намерят.

Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.

При мен са богатствата и честта, трайните богатства и правдата.

My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

Плодът ми е по-добър от злато и от чисто злато, и доходът ми — от отбрано сребро.

I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

Аз ходя по пътеката на правдата, сред пътеките на правосъдието,

That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

за да направя да наследят имот тези, които ме обичат, и да напълня съкровищниците им.

The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

ГОСПОД ме имаше като начало на пътя Си, преди древните Си дела.

I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

От вечността бях поставена, от началото, още преди създаването на земята.

When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.

Родих се, когато ги нямаше бездните, когато нямаше извори, изобилстващи с вода.

Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

Преди да бъдат разположени планините, преди хълмовете се родих,

While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

докато Той още не беше направил нито земята, нито полята, нито първите прашинки на вселената.

When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

Когато приготвяше небесата, аз бях там. Когато начерта кръг над лицето на бездната,

When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

когато утвърждаваше облаците горе, когато усилваше изворите на бездната,

When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

когато определяше на морето границата му, така че водите да не престъпват Неговата заповед, когато полагаше основите на земята —

Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

тогава аз бях майсторски работник при Него, бях Негова наслада ден след ден, веселях се винаги пред Него,

Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

веселях се на земния Му кръг и насладата ми беше с човешките синове.

Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

И така, синове, послушайте ме, защото блажени са онези, които пазят моите пътища.

Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

Послушайте поука и бъдете мъдри, и не я отхвърляйте.

Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

Блажен човекът, който ме слуша, като бди при портите ми ден след ден и пази при стълбовете на вратите ми,

For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

защото, който ме намери, намира живот и придобива благоволение пред ГОСПОДА,

But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

а който ме пропуска, вреди на душата си. Всички, които ме мразят, обичат смъртта.
