Matthew 27

А на сутринта всичките главни свещеници и народни старейшини се съвещаваха против Иисус, за да Го убият.

When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

И като Го вързаха, Го заведоха и Го предадоха на управителя Пилат Понтийски.

And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.

Тогава Юда, който Го беше предал, като видя, че беше осъден, се разкая и върна тридесетте сребърника на главните свещеници и старейшините и каза:

Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

Съгреших, че предадох невинна кръв. А те казаха: На нас какво ни е от това? Ти гледай.

Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

И като хвърли сребърниците в храма, излезе и отиде, и се обеси.

And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

А главните свещеници взеха сребърниците и казаха: Не е позволено да ги слагаме в касата на храма, понеже са цена на кръв.

And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.

И като се съветваха, купиха с тях грънчаревата нива, в която да се погребват чужденци.

And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.

Затова онази нива е наречена и до днес Кръвна нива.

Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.

Тогава се изпълни говореното чрез пророк Еремия, който казва: ?И взеха тридесетте сребърника, цената на Оценения, когото оцениха израилевите синове,

Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;

и ги дадоха за грънчаревата нива, както ми заповяда Господ.“

And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me.

А Иисус застана пред управителя. И управителят Го попита, като каза: Ти юдейският Цар ли си? А Иисус му каза: Ти казваш.

And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.

И когато Го обвиняваха главните свещеници и старейшините, нищо не отговаряше.

And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.

Тогава Пилат Му каза: Не чуваш ли за колко неща свидетелстват против Теб?

Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?

Но Той не му отговори на нито едно нещо, така че управителят се чудеше много.

And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.

А на всеки празник управителят имаше обичай да пуска на множеството един от затворниците, когото биха поискали.

Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.

А тогава имаха един прочут затворник на име Варава.

And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.

И така, когато се бяха събрали, Пилат им каза: Кого искате да ви пусна: Варава ли, или Иисус, наричан Христос?

Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?

Понеже знаеше, че от завист Го предаваха.

For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.

При това, като седеше на съдийския престол, жена му изпрати до него да кажат: Нямай нищо с този Праведник, защото днес много пострадах насън поради Него.

When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

А главните свещеници и старейшините убедиха множествата да изпросят Варава, а Иисус да убият.

But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

Управителят в отговор им каза: Кого от двамата искате да ви пусна? И те казаха: Варава.

The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.

Пилат им каза: Тогава какво да правя с Иисус, наричан Христос? Те всички казаха: Разпъни Го!

Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

А той каза: Че какво зло е сторил? А те още повече закрещяха, казвайки: Разпъни Го!

And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

И така, Пилат, като видя, че никак не помага, а напротив, че се повдига размирие, взе вода, уми си ръцете пред множеството и каза: Аз съм невинен за кръвта на този Праведник. Вие гледайте.

When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

А целият народ в отговор каза: Кръвта Му да бъде на нас и на децата ни!

Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

Тогава той им пусна Варава, а Иисус би и Го предаде да бъде разпънат.

Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

После войниците на управителя заведоха Иисус в преторията и събраха около Него цялата дружина.

Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.

И като Го съблякоха, Го облякоха в пурпурна мантия.

And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.

И сплетоха венец от тръни, който наложиха на главата Му, и сложиха тръстика в дясната Му ръка; и като коленичиха пред Него, Му се подиграваха и викаха: Привет, Царю юдейски!

And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

И като Го заплюваха, взеха тръстиката и Го удряха по главата.

And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.

И след като Му се подиграха, Му съблякоха мантията и Го облякоха с Неговите дрехи, и Го заведоха да Го разпънат.

And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.

А на излизане намериха един киринеец на име Симон; него заставиха да носи кръста Му.

And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.

И като стигнаха на едно място, наречено Голгота, което значи Лобно място,

And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,

Му дадоха да пие оцет, примесен с жлъчка; но Той, като вкуси, не прие да пие.

They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.

И след като Го разпънаха, си разделиха дрехите Му, като хвърлиха жребий.

And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

И седнаха там да Го пазят.

And sitting down they watched him there;

И поставиха над главата Му обвинението Му, написано така: Този е Иисус, юдейският Цар.

And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Заедно с Него бяха разпънати и двама разбойници – един отдясно и един отляво.

Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.

А минаващите оттам Го хулеха, като клатеха глави и говореха:

And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,

Ти, който разоряваш храма и за три дни пак го съграждаш, спаси Себе Си. Ако си Божи Син, слез от кръста.

And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.

Подобно и главните свещеници с книжниците и старейшините Му се подиграваха, казвайки:

Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,

Други е избавил, а пък Себе Си не може да избави! Той е израилевият Цар! Нека слезе сега от кръста и ще повярваме в Него.

He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

Упова се на Бога; нека Го избави сега, ако Му е угоден; понеже каза: Божи Син съм.

He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

Със същия укор Го ругаеха и разпънатите с Него разбойници.

The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.

А от шестия час тъмнина покриваше цялата земя до деветия час.

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

А около деветия час Иисус извика със силен глас и каза: Или, Или, лама савахтани? — тоест: Боже Мой, Боже Мой, защо си Ме оставил?

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Някои от стоящите там, като чуха това, казаха: Той вика Илия.

Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.

И веднага един от тях се затича, взе гъба, натопи я в оцет и като я надяна на тръстика, Му даде да пие.

And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.

А другите казваха: Остави! Да видим дали ще дойде Илия да Го избави.

The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.

А Иисус, като извика пак със силен глас, предаде дух.

Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

И ето, завесата на храма се раздра на две от горе до долу, земята се разтресе, скалите се разпукаха,

And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

гробовете се разтвориха и много тела на починали светии бяха възкресени,

And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

които, като излязоха от гробовете след Неговото възкресение, влязоха в светия град и се явиха на мнозина.

And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

А стотникът и онези, които заедно с него пазеха Иисус, като видяха земетресението и това, което стана, много се уплашиха и казаха: Наистина Този беше Син на Бога!

Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Там бяха още и гледаха отдалеч много жени, които бяха следвали Иисус от Галилея и Му служеха;

And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:

сред тях бяха Мария Магдалена и Мария, майката на Яков и на Йосия, и майката на Зеведеевите синове.

Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children.

А когато се свечери, дойде един богаташ от Ариматея на име Йосиф, който също беше ученик на Иисус.

When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathæa, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:

Той дойде при Пилат и поиска тялото на Иисус. Тогава Пилат заповяда да му се даде.

He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.

Йосиф, като взе тялото, Го обви с чиста плащаница

And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

и Го положи в своя нов гроб, който беше изсякъл в скалата; и търколи голям камък на входа на гроба и си отиде.

And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.

А там бяха Мария Магдалена и другата Мария, които седяха срещу гроба.

And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.

И на следващия ден, който беше след деня на приготовлението, главните свещеници и фарисеите се събраха при Пилат и казаха:

Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,

Господарю, спомнихме си, че онзи измамник приживе каза: След три дни ще възкръсна.

Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.

Затова заповядай гробът да се пази здраво до третия ден, да не би учениците Му да дойдат и да Го откраднат, и да кажат на народа: Възкръсна от мъртвите. Така последната измама ще бъде по-лоша от първата.

Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

Пилат им каза: Вземете стража. Идете и го пазете, както знаете.

Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.

И те отидоха и завардиха гроба, като запечатаха камъка и поставиха стражата.

So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
