Job 20

Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,

Тогава нааматецът Софар отговори и каза:

Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste.

Затова мислите ми ме карат да отговоря и затова бързам.

I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.

Чух изобличение за мой позор и духът на разума ми отговаря.

Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,

Не знаеш ли това от древността, откак човек е сложен на земята,

That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

че тържеството на безбожните е краткотрайно и радостта на лицемера — мигновена?

Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;

Макар и величието му да се извиси до небето и главата му да стигне до облаците,

Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?

като изпражненията си ще се изрине навеки; които са го виждали, ще кажат: Къде е?

He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.

Като сън ще отлети и няма да се намери, като нощно видение ще бъде пропъден.

The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.

Око го е видяло, но няма да го види вече; и мястото му няма да го види вече.

His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.

Децата му ще търсят благоволението на бедните и ръцете му ще върнат богатството му.

His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.

Костите му са пълни с младежката му сила, но тя ще лежи с него в пръстта.

Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue;

Макар и злото да е сладко в устата му и да го крие под езика си,

Though he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth:

да го жали, да не го оставя и да го задържа под небцето си,

Yet his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him.

пак храната му променя се в стомаха му, змийска жлъчка става вътре в него.

He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.

Богатство е погълнал, но отново го повръща; Бог го изтръгва от корема му.

He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper's tongue shall slay him.

Змийска отрова ще суче, език на пепелянка ще го умъртви.

He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.

Няма да види потоците, реките, течащи с мед и масло.

That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein.

Ще върне това, за което се е трудил, и няма да го погълне; какъвто имотът, такова и връщането; и той няма да им се радва.

Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not;

Защото е угнетил и е оставил сиромасите, заграбил е къща, не я е построил.

Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.

Наистина той не знае спокойствие в себе си, няма да опази нищо, което желае.

There shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods.

Нищо не избягва от лакомията му, затова благоденствието му няма да е трайно.

In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.

В пълнотата на изобилието си ще изпадне в беда, ръката на всеки страдалец ще дойде върху него.

When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.

Когато напълва търбуха си, Бог ще изпрати върху него яростта на гнева Си и ще го изсипе върху него, докато яде.

He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through.

Щом бяга от желязното оръжие, ще го прониже бронзов лък.

It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him.

Стрелата се изтегля, от тялото излиза, блестящият й връх — от жлъчката му, и ужаси го нападат.

All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.

За съкровищата му се пази пълна тъмнина, нераздухван огън ще го пояде; зло ще сполети и оцелелия във шатрата му.

The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.

Небесата ще открият беззаконието му и земята ще се надигне против него.

The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath.

Печалбата на дома му ще изчезне, ще изтече в деня на Неговия гняв.

This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.

Това е от Бога делът на безбожния, отреденото му от Бога наследство.
