Acts 9

And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

А Савел, като дишаше още заплахи и убийство срещу учениците на Господа, отиде при първосвещеника

And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

и поиска от него писма до синагогите в Дамаск, така че ако намери някои от това учение – мъже или жени – да ги докара вързани в Ерусалим.

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

И на отиване, като наближаваше Дамаск, внезапно блесна около него светлина от небето.

And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

И като падна на земята, чу глас, който му казваше: Савле, Савле, защо Ме гониш?

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

И той каза: Кой си Ти, Господи? А Той отговори: Аз съм Иисус, когото ти гониш. Трудно е за теб да риташ срещу остен.

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

И той, треперещ и поразен, каза: Господи, какво искаш да направя? А Господ му каза: Стани и иди в града, и ще ти се каже какво трябва да правиш.

And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

А мъжете, които го придружаваха, стояха като вцепенени, понеже чуха гласа, а не видяха никого.

And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

И Савел стана от земята и като отвори очите си, не виждаше нищо; и като го водеха за ръка, го заведоха в Дамаск.

And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

И три дни той не виждаше и нито яде, нито пи.

And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

А в Дамаск имаше един ученик на име Анания; и Господ му каза във видение: Анание! А той каза: Ето ме, Господи.

And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

И Господ му каза: Стани и иди на улицата, която се нарича Права и попитай в къщата на Юда за един от Тарс на име Савел; защото, ето, той се моли

And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

и е видял (във видение) един човек на име Анания да влиза и да полага ръце на него, за да прогледа.

Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:

А Анания отговори: Господи, чул съм от мнозина за този човек – колко зло е сторил на Твоите светии в Ерусалим.

And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

И тук той има власт от главните свещеници да върже всички, които призовават Твоето Име.

But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

Но Господ му каза: Иди, защото той Ми е избран съд, за да носи Моето Име пред езичници, царе и израилеви синове.

For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

Защото Аз ще му покажа колко много трябва да пострада той заради Моето Име.

And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

И Анания отиде и влезе в къщата; и като положи ръце на него, каза: Брате Савле, Господ ме изпрати, Иисус, който ти се яви по пътя, докато идваше, за да прогледаш и да се изпълниш със Свети Дух.

And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

И веднага паднаха от очите му нещо като люспи и той прогледна; и стана и се кръсти.

And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

И като прие храна, доби сила. И Савел преседя няколко дни с учениците в Дамаск.

And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

И веднага започна да проповядва по синагогите за Иисус, че Той е Божият Син.

But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

И всички, които го слушаха, се удивляваха и казваха: Не е ли това този, който в Ерусалим съсипвал онези, които призовавали това име, и затова е дошъл и тук – за да ги закара вързани при главните свещеници?

But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.

Но Савел ставаше все по-силен и объркваше юдеите, които живееха в Дамаск, като доказваше, че този Иисус е Христос.

And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:

И когато се минаха доста дни, юдеите се наговориха да го убият,

But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.

но техният заговор стана известен на Савел. И те денем и нощем пазеха портите, за да го убият.

Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.

Тогава учениците го взеха през нощта и го спуснаха през стената в един голям кош.

And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.

И когато дойде в Ерусалим, той се опитваше да се присъедини към учениците, но всички се страхуваха от него и не вярваха, че е ученик.

But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.

Но Варнава го взе и го доведе при апостолите, и им разказа как бил видял Господа по пътя и че Той му говорил, и как в Дамаск дързостно говорел в Името на Иисус.

And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.

И той беше с тях, като влизаше и излизаше в Ерусалим и говореше дързостно в Името на Господ Иисус,

And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

и говореше, и спореше с гръцките юдеи; а те търсеха случай да го убият.

Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Cæsarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

Но братята, като разбраха това, го заведоха в Кесария и го изпратиха в Тарс.

Then had the churches rest throughout all Judæa and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

И така, по цяла Юдея, Галилея и Самария църквите имаха мир и се изграждаха, и като ходеха в страх от Господа и в утехата на Светия Дух, се умножаваха.

And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.

И случи се, че Петър, като обикаляше всички, слезе и до светиите, които живееха в Лида.

And there he found a certain man named Æneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.

И там намери един човек на име Еней, който от осем години лежеше на легло и беше парализиран.

And Peter said unto him, Æneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.

И Петър му каза: Енее, Иисус Христос те изцелява; стани и оправи леглото си. И той веднага стана.

And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

И всички, които живееха в Лида и в Сарон, го видяха и се обърнаха към Господа.

Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

А в Йопия имаше една ученичка на име Тавита, което се превежда Сърна. Тя беше изпълнена с добри дела и благодеяния, които вършеше.

And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.

И се случи, че през тези дни тя се разболя и умря; и като я изкъпаха, я сложиха в една горна стая.

And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

И понеже Лида беше близо до Йопия и учениците бяха чули, че Петър е там, изпратиха до него двама души да го помолят да не се бави да дойде при тях.

Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

И Петър стана и отиде с тях. И като дойде, го заведоха в горната стая; и всичките вдовици стояха около него и плачеха, като му показваха ризите и дрехите, които Сърна правеше, когато беше с тях.

But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

А Петър изкара всички навън, коленичи и се помоли, и като се обърна към тялото, каза: Тавита, стани. И тя отвори очите си и като видя Петър, седна.

And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

И той й подаде ръка и я изправи; и като повика светиите и вдовиците, я представи жива.

And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.

И това стана известно по цяла Йопия и мнозина повярваха в Господа.

And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.

А Петър остана дълго време в Йопия у някой си кожар Симон.
