Luke 19

След това Иисус влезе в Ерихон и минаваше през града.

And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.

И ето, един човек на име Закхей, който беше началник на бирниците и беше богат,

And, behold, there was a man named Zacchæus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.

искаше да види Иисус кой е, но не можеше поради множеството, защото беше малък на ръст.

And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.

И се завтече напред и се покачи на една смокиня, за да Го види; защото щеше да мине през онзи път.

And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.

Иисус, като дойде на това място, погледна нагоре и му каза: Закхей, слез бързо, защото днес трябва да отседна у дома ти.

And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchæus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.

И той побърза да слезе и Го прие с радост.

And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.

И като видяха това, всички негодуваха, казвайки: При грешен човек влезе да отседне.

And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

А Закхей стана и каза на Господа: Господи, ето давам половината от имота си на бедните и ако някак съм ограбил някого несправедливо, му връщам четворно.

And Zacchæus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

И Иисус му каза: Днес стана спасение на този дом; защото и този е син на Авраам.

And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

Понеже Човешкият Син дойде да потърси и да спаси изгубеното.

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

И като слушаха това, Той прибави и още една притча, защото беше близо до Ерусалим и защото те си мислеха, че Божието царство щеше веднага да се яви.

And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.

Затова каза: Някой си благородник отиде в далечна страна да получи за себе си царство и да се върне.

He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

И като повика десет от слугите си, им даде десет мнаси; и им каза: Търгувайте, докато дойда.

And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Но неговите граждани го мразеха и изпратиха след него посланици да кажат: Ние не искаме този да царува над нас.

But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

А като получи царството и се върна, заповяда да му повикат онези слуги, на които беше дал парите, за да узнае кой какво е припечелил чрез търгуване.

And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

Дойде първият и каза: Господарю, твоята мнаса спечели десет мнаси.

Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.

И той му каза: Хубаво, добри слуго! Понеже се показа верен в твърде малкото, имай власт над десет града.

And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.

Дойде и вторият и каза: Господарю, твоята мнаса принесе пет мнаси.

And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.

И на него каза: Бъди и ти над пет града.

And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.

Дойде и друг и каза: Господарю, ето твоята мнаса, която пазех скътана в кърпа,

And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:

защото се боях от теб, понеже си строг човек: взимаш това, което не си положил, и жънеш, което не си посял.

For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.

Господарят му каза: От устата ти ще те съдя, зли слуго. Знаел си, че съм строг човек, който взимам това, което не съм положил, и жъна, което не съм сял;

And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

тогава защо не вложи парите ми в банката, и аз, като си дойдех, щях да ги прибера с лихвата?

Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?

И каза на присъстващите: Вземете от него мнасата и я дайте на този, който има десет мнаси!

And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.

Казаха му: Господарю, той има вече десет мнаси!

(And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)

Казвам ви, че на всеки, който има, ще се даде; а от този, който няма, от него ще се отнеме и това, което има.

For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.

А онези мои неприятели, които не искаха да царувам над тях, ги доведете тук и ги посечете пред мен.

But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

И като каза това, Иисус продължи напред, изкачвайки се за Ерусалим.

And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.

И когато се приближи до Витфагия и Витания, до хълма, наречен Елеонски, изпрати двама от учениците, като им каза:

And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,

Идете в селото, което е срещу вас, където, като влизате, ще намерите едно магаренце вързано, което никой човек не е възсядал; отвържете го и го докарайте.

Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.

И ако някой ви попита: Защо го отвързвате? – кажете така: На Господа трябва.

And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.

И изпратените отидоха и намериха както им беше казал.

And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.

И като отвързаха магаренцето, стопаните му им рекоха: Защо отвързвате магаренцето?

And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?

А те казаха: На Господа трябва.

And they said, The Lord hath need of him.

И го докараха при Иисус и като наметнаха дрехите си на магаренцето, качиха Иисус.

And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.

И Той като минаваше, хората постилаха дрехите си по пътя.

And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.

И когато вече се приближаваше до превала на Елеонския хълм, цялото множество ученици започнаха да се радват и със силен глас да славят Бога за всичките чудеса, които бяха видели, казвайки:

And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;

Благословен Царят, който иде в Господното Име! Мир на небето и слава във висините!

Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

А някои от фарисеите сред множеството Му казаха: Учителю, смъмри учениците Си!

And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.

И Той в отговор каза: Казвам ви, че ако тези млъкнат, то камъните ще извикат.

And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

И като се приближи и видя града, плака за него и каза:

And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,

Да беше знаел ти, да, и ти, поне в този (твой) ден това, което служи за мира ти! Но сега това е скрито от очите ти.

Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

Защото ще дойдат върху теб дни, когато твоите неприятели ще издигнат окопи около теб, ще те обсадят, ще те притеснят отвред

For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,

и ще сравнят със земята и теб, и децата ти в теб, и няма да оставят в теб камък върху камък; защото ти не позна времето, когато беше посетен.

And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

И като влезе в храма, започна да изпъжда онези, които продаваха, като им казваше:

And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;

Писано е: ?И домът Ми ще бъде молитвен дом“; а вие го направихте ?разбойнически вертеп“.

Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.

И поучаваше всеки ден в храма. А главните свещеници, книжниците и народните първенци се стараеха да Го погубят,

And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,

но не намираха какво да направят, понеже целият народ се беше прилепил към Него да Го слуша.

And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
