John 1

В начало бе Словото; и Словото беше у Бога; и Словото бе Бог.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

То в начало беше у Бога.

The same was in the beginning with God.

Всичко чрез Него стана; и без Него не е станало нищо от това, което е станало.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

В Него беше живот и животът беше светлината на хората.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

И светлината свети в тъмнината; а тъмнината не я схвана.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Яви се човек, изпратен от Бога, на име Йоан.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

Той дойде за свидетелство, да свидетелства за светлината, за да повярват всички чрез него.

The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

Той не беше светлината, но свидетелства за светлината;

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

това беше истинската светлина, която, идеща на света, осветлява всеки човек.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Той беше в света; и светът чрез Него стана; но светът не Го позна.

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

При Своите Си дойде, но Своите Му не Го приеха.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

А на онези, които Го приеха, даде право да станат Божии деца – на тези, които вярват в Неговото Име;

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

които се родиха не от кръв, нито от плътска воля, нито от мъжка воля, а от Бога.

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

И Словото стана плът и пребиваваше между нас; и видяхме славата Му, слава като на Единородния от Отца, пълно с благодат и истина.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Йоан свидетелства за Него и викаше, казвайки: Ето Онзи, за когото казах: Този, който идва след мен, е пред мен, понеже е бил преди мен.

John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

И ние всички приехме от Неговата пълнота и благодат върху благодат;

And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

защото законът беше даден чрез Мойсей, а благодатта и истината дойдоха чрез Иисус Христос.

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Никой никога не е видял Бога. Единородният Син, който е в лоното на Отца, Той Го изяви.

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

И това е свидетелството на Йоан, когато юдеите изпратиха до него свещеници и левити от Ерусалим, за да го попитат: Ти кой си?

And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?

Той изповяда и не отрече, а изповяда: Не аз съм Христос.

And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

И го попитаха: Тогава какво си? Илия ли си? Каза: Не съм. Пророкът ли си? И отговори: Не.

And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.

На това му казаха: Кой си, за да дадем отговор на онези, които са ни пратили; какво казваш за себе си?

Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?

Той каза: Аз съм ?глас на един, който вика в пустинята: Прав правете пътя за Господа“, както каза пророк Исая.

He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

А изпратените бяха от фарисеите.

And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.

И го попитаха, като му казаха: А защо кръщаваш, ако не си Христос, нито Илия, нито Пророкът?

And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?

В отговор Йоан им каза: Аз кръщавам с вода, но сред вас стои Един, когото вие не познавате.

John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;

Той е, който идва след мен, на когото аз не съм достоен да развържа ремъка на сандалите Му.

He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.

Това стана във Витания, от другата страна на Йордан, където Йоан кръщаваше.

These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.

На следващия ден Йоан видя Иисус, че идва към него, и каза: Ето Божият Агнец, който взема греха на света!

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Този е, за когото казах: След мен идва Човек, който е пред мен, защото е бил преди мен.

This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.

И аз не Го познавах; но затова дойдох и кръщавам с вода, за да бъде Той изявен на Израил.

And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.

И Йоан свидетелства, казвайки: Видях Духа да слиза като гълъб от небето и да остава върху Него.

And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

И аз не Го познах; но Онзи, който ме прати да кръщавам с вода, Той ми каза: Онзи, над когото видиш да слиза Духът и да остава върху Него, Той е, който кръщава със Светия Дух.

And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

И видях и свидетелствам, че Този е Божият Син.

And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

На следващия ден Йоан пак стоеше с двама от учениците си.

Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;

И като съгледа Иисус, когато минаваше, каза: Ето Божият Агнец!

And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

И двамата ученици го чуха да говори така и последваха Иисус.

And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

И Иисус, като се обърна и видя, че Го следват, им каза: Какво търсите? А те Му казаха: Равви – което се превежда: Учителю – къде живееш?

Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

Каза им: Елате и ще видите. И така, те дойдоха и видяха къде живее, и останаха при Него този ден. Беше около десетият час.

He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.

Единият от двамата, които чуха от Йоан за Него и Го последваха, беше Андрей, брат на Симон Петър.

One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.

Той първо намери своя брат Симон и му каза: Намерихме Месия, което се превежда: Христос.

He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

И го заведе при Иисус. А Иисус се вгледа в него и каза: Ти си Симон, син на Йона; ти ще се наричаш Кифа, което се превежда: камък.

And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

На другия ден Иисус реши да отиде в Галилея; и намери Филип и му каза: Следвай Ме.

The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.

А Филип беше от Витсаида, от града на Андрей и Петър.

Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

Филип намери Натанаил и му каза: Намерихме Онзи, за когото писа Мойсей в закона, и пророците – Иисус, сина на Йосиф, който е от Назарет.

Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

А Натанаил му каза: Може ли от Назарет да излезе нещо добро? Филип му каза: Ела и виж.

And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

Иисус видя Натанаил да идва към Него и каза за него: Ето истински израилтянин, у когото няма лукавство.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Натанаил Му каза: Откъде ме познаваш? Иисус в отговор му каза: Преди да те повика Филип, те видях, като беше под смокинята.

Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

Натанаил Му отговори: Равви, Ти си Божият Син, Ти си израилевият Цар!

Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

Иисус в отговор му каза: Понеже ти казах: Видях те под смокинята, затова ли вярваш? По-големи неща от това ще видиш.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.

И му каза: Истина, истина ви казвам: (отсега) ще виждате небето отворено и Божиите ангели да възлизат и слизат над Човешкия Син.

And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
