Psalms 103

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

हे मेरी आत्मा, तू यहोवा के गुण गा! हे मेरी अंग—प्रत्यंग, उसके पवित्र नाम की प्रशंसा कर।

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

हे मेरी आत्मा, यहोवा को धन्य कह और मत भूल की वह सचमुच कृपालु है!

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

उन सब पापों के लिये परमेश्वर हमको क्षमा करता है जिनको हम करते हैं। हमारी सब व्याधि को वह ठीक करता है।

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

परमेश्वर हमारे प्राण को कब्र से बचाता है, और वह हमे प्रेम और करुणा देता है।

Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

परमेश्वर हमें भरपूर उत्तम वस्तुएँ देता है। वह हमें फिर उकाब सा युवा करता है।

The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

यहोवा खरा है। परमेश्वर उन लोगों को न्याय देता है, जिन पर दूसरे लोगों ने अत्याचार किये।

He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

परमेश्वर ने मूसा को व्यवस्था का विधान सिखाया। परमेश्वर जो शक्तिशाली काम करता है, वह इस्राएलियों के लिये प्रकट किये।

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

यहोवा करुणापूर्ण और दयालु है। परमेश्वर सहनशील और प्रेम से भरा है।

He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

यहोवा सदैव ही आलोचना नहीं करता। यहोवा हम पर सदा को कुपित नहीं रहता है।

He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

हम ने परमेश्वर के विरुद्ध पाप किये, किन्तु परमेश्वर हमें दण्ड नहीं देता जो हमें मिलना चाहिए।

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

अपने भक्तों पर परमेश्वर का प्रेम वैसे महान है जैसे धरती पर है ऊँचा उठा आकाश।

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

परमेश्वर ने हमारे पापों को हमसे इतनी ही दूर हटाया जितनी पूरब कि दूरी पश्चिम से है।

Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

अपने भक्तों पर यहोवा वैसे ही दयालु है, जैसे पिता अपने पुत्रों पर दया करता है।

For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

परमेश्वर हमारा सब कुछ जानता है। परमेश्वर जानता है कि हम मिट्टी से बने हैं।

As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

परमेश्वर जानता है कि हमारा जीवन छोटा सा है। वह जानता है हमारा जीवन घास जैसा है।

For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

परमेश्वर जानता है कि हम एक तुच्छ बनफूल से हैं। वह फूल जल्दी ही उगता है। फिर गर्म हवा चलती है और वह फूल मुरझाता है। औप फिर शीघ्र ही तुम देख नहीं पातेकि वह फूल कैसे स्थान पर उग रहा था।

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

किन्तु यहोवा का प्रेम सदा बना रहता है। परमेश्वर सदा—सर्वदा निज भक्तों से प्रेम करता है परमेश्वर की दया उसके बच्चों से बच्चों तक बनी रहती है।

To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

परमेश्वर ऐसे उन लोगों पर दयालु है, जो उसकी वाचा को मानते हैं। परमेश्वर ऐसे उन लोगों पर दयालु है जो उसके आदेशों का पालन करते हैं।

The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

परमेश्वर का सिंहासन स्वर्ग में संस्थापित है। हर वस्तु पर उसका ही शासन है।

Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

हे स्वर्गदूत, यहोवा के गुण गाओ। हे स्वर्गदूतों, तुम वह शक्तिशाली सैनिक हो जो परमेश्वर के आदेशों पर चलते हो। परमेश्वर की आज्ञाएँ सुनते और पालते हो।

Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

हे सब उसके सैनिकों, यहोवा के गुण गाओ, तुम उसके सेवक हो। तुम वही करते हो जो परमेश्वर चाहता है।

Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

हर कहीं हर वस्तु यहोवा ने रची है। परमेश्वर का शासन हर कहीं वस्तु पर है। सो हे समूची सृष्टि, यहोवा को तू धन्य कह। ओ मेरे मन यहोवा की प्रशंसा कर।
