Psalms 102

Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.

Jehova, höre mein Gebet, und laß zu dir kommen mein Schreien!

Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

Verbirg dein Angesicht nicht vor mir am Tage meiner Bedrängnis; neige zu mir dein Ohr; an dem Tage, da ich rufe, erhöre mich eilends!

For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.

Denn wie Rauch entschwinden meine Tage, und meine Gebeine glühen wie ein Brand.

My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.

Wie Kraut ist versengt und verdorrt mein Herz, daß ich vergessen habe, mein Brot zu essen.

By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

Ob der Stimme meines Seufzens klebt mein Gebein an meinem Fleische.

I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

Ich gleiche dem Pelikan der Wüste, bin wie die Eule der Einöden.

I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

Ich wache, und bin wie ein einsamer Vogel auf dem Dache.

Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.

Den ganzen Tag höhnen mich meine Feinde; die wider mich rasen, schwören bei mir.

For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,

Denn Asche esse ich wie Brot, und meinen Trank vermische ich mit Tränen

Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

Vor deinem Zorn und deinem Grimm; denn du hast mich emporgehoben und hast mich hingeworfen.

My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

Meine Tage sind wie ein gestreckter Schatten, und ich verdorre wie Kraut.

But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

Du aber, Jehova, bleibst auf ewig, und dein Gedächtnis ist von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht.

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

Du wirst aufstehen, wirst dich Zions erbarmen; denn es ist Zeit, es zu begnadigen, denn gekommen ist die bestimmte Zeit;

For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

Denn deine Knechte haben Gefallen an seinen Steinen und haben Mitleid mit seinem Schutt.

So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.

Und die Nationen werden den Namen Jehovas fürchten, und alle Könige der Erde deine Herrlichkeit.

When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

Denn Jehova wird Zion aufbauen, wird erscheinen in seiner Herrlichkeit;

He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

Er wird sich wenden zum Gebete des Entblößten, und ihr Gebet wird er nicht verachten.

This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

Das wird aufgeschrieben werden für das künftige Geschlecht; und ein Volk, das erschaffen werden soll, wird Jehova loben.

For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;

Denn er hat herniedergeblickt von der Höhe seines Heiligtums, Jehova hat herabgeschaut vom Himmel auf die Erde,

To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

Um zu hören das Seufzen des Gefangenen, um zu lösen die Kinder des Todes;

To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

Damit man den Namen Jehovas verkündige in Zion, und in Jerusalem sein Lob,

When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

Wenn die Völker sich versammeln werden allzumal, und die Königreiche, um Jehova zu dienen.

He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.

Er hat meine Kraft gebeugt auf dem Wege, hat verkürzt meine Tage.

I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.

Ich sprach: Mein Gott, nimm mich nicht hinweg in der Hälfte meiner Tage! -Von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht sind deine Jahre.

Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

Du hast vormals die Erde gegründet, und die Himmel sind deiner Hände Werk.

They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

Sie werden untergehen, du aber bleibst; und sie alle werden veralten wie ein Kleid; wie ein Gewand wirst du sie verwandeln, und sie werden verwandelt werden;

But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

Du aber bist derselbe, und deine Jahre enden nicht.

The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

Die Söhne deiner Knechte werden wohnen, und ihr Same wird vor dir feststehen.
