Psalms 22

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

خدای من، خدای من! چرا مرا ترک کردی؟ چرا از من دور هستی و کمکم نمی‌کنی و به فریادم نمی‌رسی؟

O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

آه، ای خدای من، روزها التماس می‌کنم و تو جواب نمی‌دهی، شبها ناله و زاری می‌کنم و آرام ندارم.

But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

امّا تو به عنوان تنها قدّوس، بر تخت سلطنت نشسته‌ای و بنی‌اسرائیل تو را ستایش می‌کنند.

Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

نیاکان ما بر تو توکّل کردند، آنها توکّل نمودند و تو آنها را نجات دادی.

They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

به حضور تو زاری نمودند و رهایی یافتند. به تو پناه آوردند و ناامید نشدند.

But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

امّا من کِرم هستم، نه انسان. نزد همه‌کس خوار و خفیف شده‌ام.

All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

هر که مرا می‌بیند مسخره‌ام می‌کند، آنها سر خود را می‌جنبانند.

He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

و می‌گویند: «تو به خداوند توکّل کردی، چرا او تو را نجات نمی‌دهد؟ اگر خداوند تو را دوست دارد، چرا به تو کمک نمی‌کند.»

But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

تو بودی که مرا از رحم مادر به دنیا آوردی و در آغوش او از من مراقبت نمودی.

I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

از همان روز تولّدم، تو خدای من بوده‌ای و من به تو توکّل نموده‌ام.

Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

از من دور مشو، زیرا مشکلات نزدیک است و کسی نیست که به من کمک کند.

Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

دشمنان بسیاری همچون گاوانِ نرِ سرزمینِ باشان، مرا احاطه کرده‌اند،

They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

و مانند شیرانِ درّنده و غرّان دهان خود را برای من بازکرده‌اند.

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

قوّت من از من بیرون رفته، همچون آبی که برروی زمین ریخته باشد، بند‌بند استخوانهایم از هم جدا شده، و دلم مانند موم در سینه‌ام آب شده است.

My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

گلویم همچون سفال خشک شده و زبانم به سقف دهانم چسبیده است و تو مرا بر روی خاک، در حال مرگ رها کرده‌ای.

For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

دشمنان، یعنی این گروه شریر، مانند سگ، دور مرا گرفته‌اند و دستها و پاهای مرا سوراخ کرده‌اند.

I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

استخوانهایم از لاغری شمرده می‌شوند. دشمنانم به من خیره شده‌اند.

They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

لباسهایم را بین خود تقسیم می‌کنند و بر ردای من قرعه می‌اندازند.

But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

امّا تو ای خداوند، از من دور مشو! ای یاور من، به دادم برس!

Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.

مرا از دَمِ شمشیر نجات بده، مرا از چنگ این سگها رهایی ده.

Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

مرا از دهان این شیرها نجات بده، و جان مرا از دست شاخهای گاوان وحشی برهان.

I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

کارهای تو را برای قوم خود بیان خواهم کرد، تو را در حضور پرستندگانت ستایش خواهم نمود.

Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

ای خادمان خداوند، او را ستایش نمایید، ای فرزندان یعقوب، او را گرامی بدارید، ای بنی‌اسرائیل، او را پرستش نمایید،

For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

زیرا او رنج دیدگان را فراموش نمی‌کند و روی خود را از آنها بر نمی‌گرداند، بلکه دعای آنها را می‌شنود و مستجاب می‌نماید.

My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

در میان جماعتی بزرگ، تو را پرستش خواهم نمود! نذرهای خود را در مقابل پرستندگانت ادا خواهم کرد.

The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

فقیران هرقدر که بخواهند، خواهند خورد و سیر خواهند شد، جویندگان خداوند، خدا شما را همیشه کامیاب سازد.

All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

مردم سراسر جهان، خداوند را به یاد خواهند آورد و همهٔ اقوام عالم به سوی وی خواهند آمد و او را پرستش خواهند کرد.

For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations.

خداوند پادشاه است و بر همهٔ ملتّها فرمانروایی خواهد کرد.

All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

همهٔ متکبّران جهان در پیشگاه او تعظیم خواهند کرد، تمام انسانهای فانی در مقابل او سجده خواهند نمود.

A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

آیندگان، خداوند را خواهند پرستید؛ مردم دربارهٔ خداوند برای نسلهای آینده تعریف خواهند کرد.

They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

آنانی که هنوز متولّد نشده‌اند، خواهند شنید که خداوند قوم خود را نجات داده است.
