Psalms 102

Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.

Προσευχη του τεθλιμμενου, οταν αδημονη, και εκχεη το παραπονον αυτου ενωπιον του Κυριου. Κυριε, εισακουσον της προσευχης μου, και η κραυγη μου ας ελθη προς σε.

Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

Μη κρυψης το προσωπον σου απ εμου καθ ην ημεραν θλιβομαι, κλινον προς εμε το ωτιον σου καθ ην ημεραν σε επικαλουμαι, ταχεως επακουε μου.

For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.

Διοτι εξελιπον ως καπνος αι ημεραι μου, και τα οστα μου ως φρυγανον κατεξηρανθησαν.

My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.

Επληγωθη η καρδια μου και εξηρανθη ως χορτος, ωστε ελησμονησα να τρωγω τον αρτον μου.

By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

Απο φωνης του στεναγμου μου εκολληθησαν τα οστα μου εις το δερμα μου.

I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

Κατεσταθην ομοιος του ερημικου πελεκανος εγεινα ως νυκτοκοραξ εν ταις ερημοις.

I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

Αγρυπνω και ειμαι ως στρουθιον μοναζον επι δωματος.

Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.

Ολην την ημεραν με ονειδιζουσιν οι εχθροι μου οι μαινομενοι ομνυουσι κατ εμου.

For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,

Διοτι εφαγον στακτην ως αρτον και συνεκερασα με δακρυα το ποτον μου,

Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

Εξ αιτιας της οργης σου και της αγανακτησεως σου διοτι σηκωσας με ερριψας κατω.

My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

Αι ημεραι μου παρερχονται ως σκια, και εγω εξηρανθην ως χορτος.

But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

Συ δε, Κυριε, εις τον αιωνα διαμενεις, και το μνημοσυνον σου εις γενεαν και γενεαν.

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

Συ θελεις σηκωθη, θελεις σπλαγχνισθη την Σιων διοτι ειναι καιρος να ελεησης αυτην, διοτι ο διωρισμενος καιρος εφθασεν.

For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

Επειδη οι δουλοι σου αρεσκονται εις τους λιθους αυτης και σπλαγχνιζονται το χωμα αυτης.

So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.

Τοτε τα εθνη θελουσι φοβηθη το ονομα του Κυριου, και παντες οι βασιλεις της γης την δοξαν σου.

When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

Οταν ο Κυριος οικοδομηση την Σιων θελει φανη εν τη δοξα αυτου.

He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

Θελει επιβλεψει επι την προσευχην των εγκαταλελειμμενων και δεν θελει καταφρονησει την δεησιν αυτων.

This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

Τουτο θελει γραφθη δια την γενεαν την επερχομενην και ο λαος, οστις θελει δημιουργηθη, θελει αινει τον Κυριον.

For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;

Διοτι εκυψεν εκ του υψους του αγιαστηριου αυτου, εξ ουρανου επεβλεψεν ο Κυριος επι την γην,

To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

δια να ακουση τον στεναγμον των δεσμιων, δια να λυση τους καταδεδικασμενους εις θανατον

To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

δια να κηρυττωσιν εν Σιων το ονομα του Κυριου και την αινεσιν αυτου εν Ιερουσαλημ,

When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

οταν συναχθωσιν ομου οι λαοι και αι βασιλειαι, δια να δουλευσωσι τον Κυριον.

He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.

Ηδυνατισεν εν τη οδω την ισχυν μου συνετεμε τας ημερας μου.

I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.

Εγω ειπα, μη με αρπασης, Θεε μου, εν τω ημισει των ημερων μου τα ετη σου ειναι εις γενεας γενεων.

Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

Κατ αρχας συ, Κυριε, την γην εθεμελιωσας, και εργα των χειρων σου ειναι οι ουρανοι.

They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

Αυτοι θελουσιν απολεσθη, συ δε διαμενεις και παντες ως ιματιον θελουσι παλαιωθη ως περιενδυμα θελεις τυλιξει αυτους, και θελουσιν αλλαχθη

But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

συ ομως εισαι ο αυτος, και τα ετη σου δεν θελουσιν εκλειψει.

The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

Οι υιοι των δουλων σου θελουσι κατοικει, και το σπερμα αυτων θελει διαμενει ενωπιον σου.
