John 4

When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,

И така, когато Господ узна, че фарисеите чули, че Иисус придобивал и кръщавал повече ученици от Йоан –

(Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

не че Сам Иисус кръщаваше, а учениците Му –

He left Judæa, and departed again into Galilee.

напусна Юдея и отиде пак в Галилея.

And he must needs go through Samaria.

Но трябваше да мине през Самария.

Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

И така, дойде в един самарийски град, наречен Сихар, близо до землището, което Яков даде на сина си Йосиф.

Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

Там беше Якововият кладенец. И така, Иисус, изморен от пътуване, седеше така на кладенеца. Беше около шестият час.

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

Дойде една самарянка да си извади вода. Иисус й каза: Дай Ми да пия.

(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

Защото учениците Му бяха отишли в града да купят храна.

Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

Тогава самарянката Му каза: Как Ти, който си юдеин, искаш вода от мен, която съм самарянка? Защото юдеите не общуват със самаряните.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

Иисус в отговор й каза: Ако знаеше Божия дар и кой е Онзи, който ти казва: Дай Ми да пия; ти би поискала от Него и Той би ти дал жива вода.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

Жената Му каза: Господине, нямаш почерпало, а и кладенецът е дълбок; тогава откъде имаш живата вода?

Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?

Нима Ти си по-голям от баща ни Яков, който ни е дал кладенеца, и сам той е пил от него, както и синовете му, и добитъкът му?

Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

Иисус в отговор й каза: Всеки, който пие от тази вода, пак ще ожаднее;

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

а който пие от водата, която Аз ще му дам, няма да ожаднее до века; а водата, която ще му дам, ще стане в него извор на вода, която извира за вечен живот.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

Жената Му каза: Господине, дай ми тази вода, за да не ожаднявам и да не извървявам толкова път дотук, за да изваждам.

Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

Иисус й каза: Иди, повикай мъжа си и ела тук.

The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:

В отговор жената Му каза: Нямам мъж. Иисус й каза: Добре каза, че нямаш мъж;

For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

защото петима мъже си имала и този, който сега имаш, не ти е мъж. Това ти право каза.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

Жената Му каза: Господине, виждам, че Ти си пророк.

Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

Нашите бащи върху този хълм са се покланяли; а вие казвате, че в Ерусалим е мястото, където трябва да се покланяме.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Иисус й каза: Жено, вярвай Ми, че иде час, когато нито върху този хълм, нито в Ерусалим ще се покланяте на Отца.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

Вие се покланяте на онова, което не знаете; ние се покланяме на онова, което знаем; защото спасението е от юдеите.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Но идва часът, и сега е, когато истинските поклонници ще се покланят на Отца с дух и истина; защото такива иска Отец да бъдат поклонниците Му.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Бог е дух; и онези, които Му се покланят, с дух и истина трябва да се покланят.

The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

Жената Му каза: Зная, че ще дойде Месия, който се нарича Христос; Той, когато дойде, ще ни изяви всичко.

Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Иисус й каза: Аз съм, който разговарям с теб.

And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?

В това време дойдоха учениците Му и се учудиха, че разговаря с жена; но никой не каза: Какво търсиш?, или: Защо разговаряш с нея?

The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,

Тогава жената остави стомната си, отиде в града и каза на хората:

Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

Елате да видите един Човек, който ми каза всичко, което съм направила. Да не би Той да е Христос?

Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.

Тогава те излязоха от града и отиваха към Него.

In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.

Междувременно учениците молеха Иисус, като казваха: Равви, яж.

But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.

Но Той им каза: Аз имам да ям храна, за която вие не знаете.

Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?

Затова учениците говореха помежду си: Да не би някой да Му е донесъл за ядене?

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Иисус им каза: Моята храна е да върша волята на Онзи, който Ме е пратил, и да извърша Неговото дело.

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Не казвате ли: Още четири месеца, и жетвата ще дойде? Ето, казвам ви, повдигнете очите си и вижте, че нивите са вече бели за жетва.

And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

Който жъне, получава заплата и събира плод за вечен живот, за да се радват заедно и който сее, и който жъне.

And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.

Защото в това отношение истинна е думата, че един сее, а друг жъне.

I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

Аз ви пратих да жънете това, за което не сте се трудили; други се трудиха, а вие влязохте в техния труд.

And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

И много самаряни от този град повярваха в Него поради думата на жената, която свидетелстваше: Той ми каза всичко, което съм направила.

So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.

И така, когато дойдоха самаряните при Него, Го помолиха да остане при тях; и преседя там два дни.

And many more believed because of his own word;

И още мнозина повярваха заради Неговото слово;

And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

а на жената казаха: Ние вече вярваме не заради това, което ти каза, а защото сами чухме и знаем, че Той е наистина (Христос), Спасителят на света.

Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.

След два дни Той излезе оттам и отиде в Галилея;

For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.

защото Иисус Сам беше свидетелствал, че пророк няма почит в родното си място.

Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilæans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.

И така, когато дойде в Галилея, галилеяните Го приеха, след като бяха видели всичко, което извърши в Ерусалим на празника; защото и те бяха отишли на празника.

So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum.

И така, Иисус пак дойде в Кана Галилейска, където беше превърнал водата на вино. И имаше един царски чиновник, чийто син беше болен в Капернаум.

When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judæa into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.

Той, като чу, че Иисус дошъл от Юдея в Галилея, отиде при Него и Го помоли да слезе и да изцели сина му, защото беше на умиране.

Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

Тогава Иисус му каза: Ако не видите знамения и чудеса, никак няма да повярвате.

The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.

Царският чиновник Му каза: Господине, слез, докато детето ми не е умряло.

Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.

Иисус му каза: Иди си, синът ти е жив. Човекът повярва думата, която му каза Иисус, и си отиде.

And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.

И когато той вече слизаше, слугите му го срещнаха и му казаха: Синът ти е жив.

Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.

А той ги попита в кой час му е станало по-леко. Те му казаха: Вчера в седмия час треската го остави.

So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.

И така бащата разбра, че беше в същия час, когато Иисус му каза: Синът ти е жив. И повярва той и целият му дом.

This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judæa into Galilee.

Това е второто знамение, което извърши Иисус, когато дойде от Юдея в Галилея.
