Psalms 136

Celebrate l’Eterno, perché egli è buono, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Celebrate l’Iddio degli dèi, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Celebrate li Signor dei signori, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Colui che solo opera grandi maraviglie, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Colui che ha fatto con intendimento i cieli, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Colui che ha steso la terra sopra le acque, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Colui che ha fatto i grandi luminari, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno:

To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:

il sole per regnare sul giorno, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno;

The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:

e la luna e le stelle per regnare sulla notte, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Colui che percosse gli Egizi nei loro primogeniti, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno;

To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:

e trasse fuori Israele dal mezzo di loro, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno;

And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever:

con mano potente e con braccio steso, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Colui che divise il Mar rosso in due, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno;

To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:

e fece passare Israele in mezzo ad esso, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno;

And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:

e travolse Faraone e il suo esercito nel Mar Rosso, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Colui che condusse il suo popolo attraverso il deserto, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Colui che percosse re grandi, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno;

To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

e uccise re potenti, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno:

And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

Sihon, re degli Amorei, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno,

Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever:

e Og, re di Basan, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno;

And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endureth for ever:

e dette il loro paese in eredità, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno,

And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy endureth for ever:

in eredità ad Israele, suo servitore, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Colui che si ricordò di noi del nostro abbassamento, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno;

Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:

e ci ha liberati dai nostri nemici, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Colui che dà il cibo ad ogni carne, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno.

Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.
