John 19

Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.

Тогава Пилат взе Иисус и Го би.

And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,

И войниците сплетоха венец от тръни, наложиха го на главата Му и Му облякоха пурпурна дреха,

And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.

и казваха: Привет, Царю юдейски!; и Му удряха плесници.

Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.

Тогава Пилат пак излезе навън и им каза: Ето, извеждам ви Го навън, за да знаете, че не намирам в Него никаква вина.

Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!

Тогава Иисус излезе навън, носейки трънения венец и пурпурната дреха. Пилат им каза: Ето Човекът!

When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.

А като Го видяха, главните свещеници и служителите извикаха, казвайки: Разпъни Го! Разпъни Го! Пилат им каза: Вие Го вземете и Го разпънете, защото аз не намирам вина в Него.

The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

Юдеите му отговориха: Ние имаме закон и според нашия закон Той трябва да умре, защото направи Себе Си Божи Син.

When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;

А Пилат, като чу тази дума, още повече се уплаши.

And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.

И пак влезе в преторията и каза на Иисус: Ти откъде си? Но Иисус не му даде отговор.

Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?

Тогава Пилат Му каза: На мен ли не говориш? Не знаеш ли, че имам власт да Те пусна и имам власт да Те разпъна?

Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Иисус му отговори: Ти нямаше да имаш никаква власт над Мен, ако не ти беше дадено от горе; затова, по-голям грях има онзи, който Ме предаде на теб.

And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Cæsar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Cæsar.

Оттогава Пилат търсеше начин да Го пусне, но юдеите викаха, като казваха: Ако пуснеш Този, не си приятел на императора! Всеки, който прави себе си цар, е противник на императора!

When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.

А Пилат, като чу тези думи, изведе Иисус навън и седна на съдийския престол, на мястото, наречено Каменната настилка, а на еврейски – Гавата.

And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!

Беше денят на Приготовление на Пасхата, около шестия час. И той каза на юдеите: Ето вашият Цар!

But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Cæsar.

А те извикаха: Махни Го! Махни Го! Разпъни Го! Пилат им каза: Вашия Цар ли да разпъна? Главните свещеници отговориха: Нямаме друг цар освен императора!

Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.

Затова той им Го предаде да бъде разпънат. И така, те взеха Иисус и Го отведоха.

And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

И Той, носейки кръста Си, излезе на мястото, наречено Лобно, което на еврейски се казва Голгота,

Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

където Го разпънаха, и с Него други двама – от едната и от другата страна, а Иисус по средата.

And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.

А Пилат написа и надпис и го постави на кръста. А написаното беше: Иисус Назарянинът, юдейският Цар.

This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.

Този надпис прочетоха мнозина от юдеите, защото мястото, където разпънаха Иисус, беше близо до града и написаното беше на еврейски, на гръцки и на латински.

Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.

А главните свещеници на юдеите казаха на Пилат: Недей да пишеш: Юдейският Цар, а Самозваният юдейски Цар.

Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

Пилат отговори: Каквото писах, писах.

Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.

А войниците, като разпънаха Иисус, взеха дрехите Му и ги разделиха на четири дяла – на всеки войник по един дял; взеха и долната Му дреха. А дрехата не беше шита, а изтъкана цялата от горе.

They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

Затова те казаха помежду си: Да не я раздираме, а да хвърлим жребий за нея – чия да бъде; за да се изпълни писанието, което казва: ?Разделиха си дрехите Ми и за облеклото Ми хвърлиха жребий.“ И така, войниците направиха това.

Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.

А при кръста на Иисус стояха майка Му и сестрата на майка Му, Мария Клеопова и Мария Магдалена.

When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!

А Иисус, като видя майка Си и ученика, когото любеше, който стоеше наблизо, каза на майка Си: Жено, ето твоят син!

Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

После каза на ученика: Ето твоята майка! И от онзи час ученикът я прибра в своя дом.

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

След това Иисус, като знаеше, че всичко вече е свършено, за да се сбъдне Писанието, каза: Жаден съм.

Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.

А там беше сложен съд, пълен с оцет; и те напоиха гъба с оцет, набучиха я на исоп и я поднесоха до устата Му.

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

А Иисус, като прие оцета, каза: Свърши се! И като наведе глава, предаде дух.

The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

И понеже беше денят на приготовлението, за да не останат телата на кръста в съботата, защото онази събота беше велика, юдеите помолиха Пилат да им пречупят краката и да ги махнат оттам.

Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.

Тогава войниците дойдоха и пречупиха краката на единия и на другия, които бяха разпънати с Него.

But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:

Но когато дойдоха при Иисус и Го видяха вече умрял, не Му пречупиха краката.

But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

Но един от войниците прободе с копие ребрата Му и веднага изтече кръв и вода.

And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.

И този, който видя, свидетелства, и неговото свидетелство е вярно; и той знае, че говори истината, за да повярвате и вие.

For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

Защото това стана, за да се изпълни писанието: ?Кост Негова няма да се строши“;

And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

и пак друго писание казва: ?Ще погледнат на Него, когото прободоха.“

And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.

След това Йосиф от Ариматея, който беше ученик на Иисус, но таен поради страх от юдеите, помоли Пилат да вземе тялото на Иисус; и Пилат позволи. И така, той дойде и взе тялото на Иисус.

And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.

Дойде също и Никодим, който първо беше ходил при Иисус през нощта, и донесе около сто литри смес от смирна и алое.

Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.

Тогава взеха тялото на Иисус и Го обвиха в плащаница с ароматите според юдейския обичай на погребване.

Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.

А на мястото, където беше разпънат, имаше градина и в градината – нов гроб, в който още никой не беше полаган.

There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.

Там положиха Иисус заради юдейския ден на Приготовлението, защото гробът беше наблизо.
