Psalms 72

(По слав. 71) Псалм на Соломон. Боже, дай на царя правосъдието Си и правдата Си — на царския син,

Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

за да съди Твоя народ с правда и страдащите Ти — с правосъдие.

He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

Планините ще донесат мир на народа и хълмовете — мир чрез правда.

The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

Той ще донесе правосъдие на страдащите на народа, ще спаси синовете на сиромасите и ще смаже потисника.

He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

Ще Ти се боят, докато грее слънцето и докато свети луната, през всички поколения.

They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

Той ще слезе като дъжд върху окосената ливада, като дъждове, които напояват земята.

He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

В неговите дни праведният ще процъфтява и ще има изобилие от мир, докато луната престане да съществува.

In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

И той ще владее от море до море, и от реката до краищата на земята.

He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

Пред него ще се поклонят жителите на пустинята и враговете му ще лижат пръстта.

They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

Царете на Тарсис и на островите ще донесат подаръци, царете на Сава и Сева ще принесат дарове.

The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

Да! Всички царе ще се поклонят пред него, всичките народи ще му служат.

Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

Защото той ще избави сиромаха, когато вика, също и бедния, и безпомощния.

For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

Ще се смили над слабия и сиромаха и ще спаси душите на сиромасите.

He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

Ще изкупи душата им от гнет и насилие и кръвта им ще бъде скъпоценна в очите му.

He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

И ще живее, и ще му се даде савското злато; и постоянно ще се издига молитва за него и цял ден ще го благославят.

And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

Изобилие от жито ще има в земята, на върха на планините; плодът му ще се люлее като Ливан и жителите на града ще процъфтяват като земната трева.

There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

Името му ще пребъдва вечно, името му ще пребъдва, докато е слънцето. И в Него ще се благославят, блажен ще го наричат всичките народи.

His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

Благословен да е ГОСПОД Бог, Богът на Израил, който единствен върши чудеса!

Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

И благословено да бъде Неговото славно Име до века! И нека цялата земя се изпълни с Неговата слава! Амин и амин.

And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
