Luke 4

А Иисус, пълен със Светия Дух, след като се върна от Йордан, беше воден от Духа из пустинята в продължение на четиридесет дни,

And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

където беше изкушаван от дявола. И не яде нищо през тези дни. И когато те свършиха, Той огладня.

Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

И дяволът Му каза: Ако си Божият Син, заповядай на този камък да стане хляб.

And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

Но Иисус му отговори: Писано е: ?Не само с хляб ще живее човек, (а с всяко Божие слово).“

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Тогава дяволът Го изведе (на една висока планина) и като Му показа всичките царства на света в един миг време, Му каза:

And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

На Теб ще дам цялата власт и слава на тези царства, защото тя е предадена на мен и аз я давам на когото си искам.

And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

И така, ако ми се поклониш, всичко ще бъде Твое.

If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

А Иисус в отговор му каза: Писано е: ?На Господа, твоя Бог, да се покланяш и само на Него да служиш.“

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Тогава Го заведе в Ерусалим, постави Го на крилото на храма и Му каза: Ако си Божият Син, хвърли се оттук долу,

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

защото е писано: ?Ще заповяда на ангелите Си за теб, да те пазят;

For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

и на ръце ще те носят, да не би да удариш в камък крака си.“

And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

А Иисус в отговор му рече: Казано е: ?Да не изпитваш Господа, своя Бог.“

And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

И като изчерпа всяко изкушение, дяволът се оттегли от Него за известно време.

And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

А Иисус се върна в Галилея със силата на Духа и слух се разнесе за Него по цялата околност.

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

И Той поучаваше по синагогите им; и всички Го прославяха.

And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

И дойде в Назарет, където беше отгледан, и по обичая Си влезе в синагогата в съботния ден и се изправи да чете.

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

Подадоха Му книгата на пророк Исая и Той, като отвори книгата, намери мястото, където беше писано:

And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

?Духът на Господа е на Мен, защото Ме е помазал да благовестявам на бедните; изпратил Ме е да проглася освобождение на пленниците и проглеждане на слепите, да пусна на свобода угнетените,

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

да проглася благоприятната Господна година.“

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

И като затвори книгата, върна я на служителя и седна; а очите на всички в синагогата бяха впити в Него.

And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

И започна да им казва: Днес се изпълни това писание във вашите уши.

And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

И всички Му засвидетелстваха, като се удивляваха на благодатните думи, които излизаха от устата Му. И казваха: Този не е ли Синът на Йосиф?

And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?

А Той им каза: Вие сигурно ще Ми кажете тази поговорка: Лекарю, изцели себе си! Направи и тук, в Своето родно място, онова, което сме чули, че става в Капернаум.

And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

Тогава Той пак каза: Истина ви казвам, че нито един пророк не е приет в родното си място.

And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

Но наистина ви казвам: много вдовици имаше в Израил в дните на Илия, когато се затвори небето за три години и шест месеца и настана голям глад по цялата земя;

But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

но при нито една от тях не беше изпратен Илия освен при една вдовица от Сарепта Сидонска.

But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

Също така имаше много прокажени в Израил във времето на пророк Елисей; но нито един от тях не бе очистен освен сириецът Нееман.

And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

Когато чуха това, всички тези, които бяха в синагогата, се изпълниха с гняв,

And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

и като станаха, Го изкараха вън от града и Го заведоха при края на хълма, на който беше построен градът им, за да Го хвърлят долу.

And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

Но Той мина посред тях и си отиде.

But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

И слезе в галилейския град Капернаум и ги поучаваше в съботен ден.

And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

А те се удивляваха на учението Му, защото Неговото слово беше с власт.

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

И в синагогата имаше един човек, хванат от духа на нечист демон. И той извика със силен глас:

And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

Ех, какво имаме ние с Теб, Иисусе Назарянине? Нима си дошъл да ни погубиш? Познавам Те кой си Ти – Светият Божи.

Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

Но Иисус го смъмри, като каза: Млъкни и излез от него. И демонът, след като го повали насред тях, излезе от него, без изобщо да го повреди.

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

И всички се смаяха и разговаряха помежду си, като казваха: Какво е това слово? Защото с власт и сила Той заповядва на нечистите духове и те излизат.

And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

И слухът за Него се разнесе по всичките околни места.

And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.

И като стана и излезе от синагогата, Той влезе в къщата на Симон. А тъщата на Симон беше хваната от силна треска и те Го помолиха за нея.

And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.

И Той, като застана над нея, смъмри треската и тя я остави; и тя веднага стана и им прислужваше.

And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

И когато залязваше слънцето, всички, които имаха болни от разни болести, ги доведоха при Него. А Той положи ръце на всеки от тях и ги изцели.

Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

Още и демони с крясък излизаха от мнозина, като казваха: Ти си Божият Син. А Той ги мъмреше и не ги оставяше да говорят, понеже знаеха, че Той е Христос.

And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

И като се съмна, Той излезе и отиде в уединено място; а множествата Го търсеха, идваха при Него и Го задържаха, за да не си отива от тях.

And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.

Но Той им каза: И на другите градове трябва да благовестя Божието царство, защото за това съм изпратен.

And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

И проповядваше в синагогите в Галилея.

And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.
