Luke 5

А веднъж Той стоеше при Генисаретското езеро, когато множеството Го притискаше, за да слуша Божието слово.

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

И видя два кораба, които стояха край езерото; а рибарите бяха излезли от тях и изпираха мрежите си.

And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

И като влезе в един от корабите, който беше на Симон, го помоли да го отдалечи малко от сушата; и седна и поучаваше множествата от кораба.

And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

А когато престана да говори, каза на Симон: Оттегли към дълбокото и хвърлете мрежите за лов.

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

А Симон в отговор каза: Учителю, цяла нощ се трудихме и нищо не уловихме, но по Твоята дума ще хвърля мрежите.

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

И когато направиха това, уловиха твърде много риба, така че мрежите им се прокъсваха.

And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

И те извикаха съдружниците си от другия кораб да им дойдат на помощ; и те дойдоха и напълниха и двата кораба толкова много, че щяха да потънат.

And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

А Симон Петър, като видя това, падна пред коленете на Иисус и каза: Иди си от мен, Господи, защото съм грешен човек.

When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

Понеже и той, и всички, които бяха с него, бяха смаяни от улова на рибите, които хванаха,

For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

а така също и Яков и Йоан, синовете на Зеведей, които бяха съдружници на Симон. А Иисус каза на Симон: Не се бой. Отсега нататък хора ще ловиш.

And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

И като изтеглиха корабите на сушата, оставиха всичко и Го последваха.

And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

И когато беше в един от градовете, ето, един човек, болен целият от проказа, като видя Иисус, падна на лицето си и Му се помоли, казвайки: Господи, ако искаш, можеш да ме очистиш.

And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

А Той простря ръка и се допря до него, и каза: Искам, бъди очистен. И веднага проказата го остави.

And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

И Той му заръча да не казва на никого за това: Но за свидетелство на тях, иди и се покажи на свещеника, и принеси за очистването си, както е заповядал Мойсей.

And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Но вестта за Него се разнасяше още повече и големи множества се събираха да слушат и да се изцеляват от болестите си.

But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

А Той се оттегляше в пустините и се молеше.

And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

И през един от тези дни, когато Той поучаваше, там седяха фарисеи и законоучители, надошли от всяко село на Галилея, Юдея и Ерусалим. И сила от Господа беше с Него, за да изцелява.

And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judæa, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

И ето, едни мъже донесоха на постелка един човек, който беше парализиран, и се опитаха да го внесат вътре и да го сложат пред Него.

And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.

Но понеже не намериха откъде да го внесат вътре заради множеството, се качиха на покрива и през керемидите го спуснаха с постелката на средата пред Иисус.

And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

А Той, като видя вярата им, каза: Човече, прощават ти се греховете.

And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

Тогава книжниците и фарисеите започнаха да се питат, като казваха: Кой е Този, който богохулства? Кой може да прощава грехове, освен единствено Бог?

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

Но когато Иисус разбра мислите им, им каза в отговор: Какво размишлявате в сърцата си?

But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

Кое е по-лесно да кажа? Прощават ти се греховете!; или: Стани и ходи!

Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?

Но за да познаете, че Човешкият Син има власт на земята да прощава грехове – каза на паралитика: Казвам ти: стани, вдигни постелката си и си иди у дома.

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

И веднага той стана пред тях, вдигна това, на което лежеше, и си отиде у дома, като славеше Бога.

And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

И те всички се смаяха и славеха Бога, и изпълнени със страх, казваха: Днес видяхме пречудни неща.

And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

След това Иисус излезе и видя един бирник на име Леви, че седеше в бирничеството, и му каза: Следвай Ме.

And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.

Той остави всичко, стана и Го последва.

And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

После Леви направи за Него голямо угощение в къщата си; и имаше голямо множество бирници и други, които седяха на трапезата с тях.

And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.

А фарисеите и техните книжници недоволстваха против учениците Му, като казваха: Защо ядете и пиете с бирниците и грешниците?

But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

Иисус в отговор им каза: Здравите нямат нужда от лекар, а болните.

And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

Не съм дошъл да призова праведните, а грешните на покаяние.

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

А те Му казаха: Учениците на Йоан често постят и правят молитви, както и тези на фарисеите, а Твоите ядат и пият.

And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?

Иисус им каза: Можете ли да накарате сватбарите да постят, докато младоженецът е с тях?

And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

Ще дойдат обаче дни, когато младоженецът ще се отнеме от тях; тогава, през онези дни, ще постят.

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

Каза им още и притча: Никой не отдира кръпка от нова дреха, за да я сложи на стара дреха, защото не само че новата дреха се разкъсва, а и кръпката от новата не прилича на старата.

And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.

И никой не налива ново вино в стари мехове, защото не само че новото вино ще пръсне меховете и то самото ще изтече, а и меховете ще се изхабят.

And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.

Но трябва да се налива ново вино в нови мехове и ще се запази и едното, и другото.

But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.

И никой, след като е пил старо вино, не иска ново, защото казва: Старото е по-добро.

No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
