Psalms 145

I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

Dávid dicsérő éneke. Magasztallak téged, Istenem, királyom, és áldom nevedet örökkön örökké!

Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

Minden napon áldalak téged, és dicsérem neved örökkön örökké!

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Nagy az Úr és igen dicséretes, és az ő nagysága megfoghatatlan.

One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

Nemzedék nemzedéknek dícséri műveidet, s jelentgeti a te hatalmasságodat.

I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

A te méltóságod dicső fényéről, és csodálatos dolgaidról elmélkedem.

And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.

Rettenetes voltod hatalmát beszélik, és én a te nagyságos dolgaidat hirdetem.

They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.

A te nagy jóságod emlékeiről áradoznak, és a te igazságodnak örvendeznek.

The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

Irgalmas és könyörületes az Úr, késedelmes a haragra és nagy kegyelmű.

The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Jó az Úr mindenki iránt, és könyörületes minden teremtményéhez.

All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.

Dicsér téged, Uram minden teremtményed és áldanak téged a te kegyeltjeid.

They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

Országodnak dicsőségéről szólnak, és a te hatalmadat beszélik.

To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

Hogy tudtul adják az ember fiainak az ő hatalmát, és az ő országának fényes dicsőségét.

Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

A te országod örökre fennálló ország, és a te uralkodásod nemzedékről nemzedékre.

The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

Az Úr megtámogat minden elesendőt, és felegyenesít minden meggörnyedtet.

The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

Mindenki szemei te reád vigyáznak, és te idejében megadod eledelöket.

Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Megnyitod a te kezedet, és megelégítesz minden élőt ingyen.

The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

Igaz az Úr minden ő útában, és minden dolgában kegyelmes.

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

Közel van az Úr minden őt hívóhoz; mindenkihez, a ki hűséggel hívja őt.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

Beteljesíti az őt félőknek kivánságát; kiáltásukat meghallgatja és megsegíti őket.

The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

Megőrzi az Úr mindazokat, a kik őt szeretik; de a gonoszokat mind megsemmisíti.

My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

Az Úr dicséretét beszélje ajkam, és az ő szent nevét áldja minden test örökkön örökké!
