Nehemiah 7

Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,

И когато стената се построи, поставих вратите и се определиха вратарите и певците, и левитите.

That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.

И предадох Ерусалим под грижата на брат си Ананий и на началника на крепостта Анания, защото беше верен човек и се боеше от Бога повече от мнозина.

And I said unto them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar them: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one to be over against his house.

И им казах: Портите на Ерусалим да не се отварят преди да напече слънцето; и докато стражите още стоят, вратите да се затварят и залостват. И да поставите стражи от ерусалимските жители, всеки на стражата му, всеки срещу къщата му.

Now the city was large and great: but the people were few therein, and the houses were not builded.

А градът бе широк и голям, а народът в него беше малоброен и нямаше построени къщи.

And my God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,

И моят Бог вложи в сърцето ми да събера благородните и първенците, и народа, за да бъдат записани в родословието. И намерих книгата на родословието на онези, които се изкачиха първи, и намерих писано в нея:

These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;

Ето жителите на областта, които се изкачиха от плена на пленниците, от онези, които вавилонският цар Навуходоносор беше отвел в плен, и които се върнаха в Ерусалим и в Юда, всеки в града си,

Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, I say, of the men of the people of Israel was this;

които дойдоха със Зоровавел, Иисус, Неемия, Азария, Раамия, Нааманий, Мардохей, Валасан, Мисперет, Вагуй, Наум и Ваана. Броят на мъжете от израилевия народ беше:

The children of Parosh, two thousand an hundred seventy and two.

синовете на Фарос: две хиляди сто седемдесет и двама души;

The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.

синовете на Сефатия: триста седемдесет и двама души;

The children of Arah, six hundred fifty and two.

синовете на Арах: шестстотин петдесет и двама души;

The children of Pahath–moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.

синовете на Фаат-Моав, от синовете на Иисус и Йоав: две хиляди осемстотин и осемнадесет души;

The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

синовете на Елам: хиляда двеста петдесет и четири души;

The children of Zattu, eight hundred forty and five.

синовете на Затуй: осемстотин четиридесет и пет души;

The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and threescore.

синовете на Закхей: седемстотин и шестдесет души;

The children of Binnui, six hundred forty and eight.

синовете на Венуй: шестстотин четиридесет и осем души;

The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and eight.

синовете на Вивай: шестстотин двадесет и осем души;

The children of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty and two.

синовете на Азгад: две хиляди триста двадесет и двама души;

The children of Adonikam, six hundred threescore and seven.

синовете на Адоникам: шестстотин шестдесет и седем души;

The children of Bigvai, two thousand threescore and seven.

синовете на Вагуй: две хиляди шестдесет и седем души;

The children of Adin, six hundred fifty and five.

синовете на Адин: шестстотин петдесет и пет души;

The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety and eight.

синовете на Атир от Езекия: деветдесет и осем души;

The children of Hashum, three hundred twenty and eight.

синовете на Асум: триста двадесет и осем души;

The children of Bezai, three hundred twenty and four.

синовете на Висай: триста двадесет и четири души;

The children of Hariph, an hundred and twelve.

синовете на Ариф: сто и дванадесет души;

The children of Gibeon, ninety and five.

синовете на Гаваон: деветдесет и пет души;

The men of Beth–lehem and Netophah, an hundred fourscore and eight.

мъжете от Витлеем и Нетофат: сто осемдесет и осем души;

The men of Anathoth, an hundred twenty and eight.

мъжете от Анатот: сто двадесет и осем души;

The men of Beth–azmaveth, forty and two.

мъжете от Вет-Азмавет: четиридесет и двама души;

The men of Kirjath–jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred forty and three.

мъжете от Кириат-Иарим, Хефира и Вирот: седемстотин четиридесет и трима души;

The men of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty and one.

мъжете от Рама и Гава: шестстотин двадесет и един души;

The men of Michmas, an hundred and twenty and two.

мъжете от Михмас: сто двадесет и двама души;

The men of Beth–el and Ai, an hundred twenty and three.

мъжете от Ветил и Гай: сто двадесет и трима души;

The men of the other Nebo, fifty and two.

мъжете от другия Нево: петдесет и двама души;

The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

синовете на другия Елам: хиляда двеста петдесет и четири души;

The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.

синовете на Харим: триста и двадесет души;

The children of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.

синовете на Ерихон: триста четиридесет и пет души;

The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty and one.

синовете на Лод, Адид и Оно: седемстотин двадесет и един души;

The children of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred and thirty.

синовете на Сенаа: три хиляди деветстотин и тридесет души.

The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three.

Свещениците: синовете на Едая, от дома на Иисус: деветстотин седемдесет и трима души;

The children of Immer, a thousand fifty and two.

синовете на Емир: хиляда петдесет и двама души;

The children of Pashur, a thousand two hundred forty and seven.

синовете на Пасхор: хиляда двеста четиридесет и седем души;

The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.

синовете на Харим: хиляда и седемнадесет души.

The Levites: the children of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, and of the children of Hodevah, seventy and four.

Левитите: синовете на Иисус и Кадмиил, от синовете на Одавия: седемдесет и четири души.

The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundred forty and eight.

Певците: синовете на Асаф: сто четиридесет и осем души.

The porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, an hundred thirty and eight.

Вратарите: синовете на Селум, синовете на Атер, синовете на Талмон, синовете на Акув, синовете на Атитай, синовете на Совай: сто тридесет и осем души.

The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hashupha, the children of Tabbaoth,

Нетинимите: синовете на Сиха, синовете на Асуфа, синовете на Таваот,

The children of Keros, the children of Sia, the children of Padon,

синовете на Кирос, синовете на Сиа, синовете на Фадон,

The children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Shalmai,

синовете на Левана, синовете на Агава, синовете на Салмай,

The children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar,

синовете на Анан, синовете на Гедил, синовете на Гаар,

The children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda,

синовете на Реая, синовете на Расин, синовете на Некода,

The children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Phaseah,

синовете на Газам, синовете на Оза, синовете на Фасей,

The children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephishesim,

синовете на Висай, синовете на меунимците, синовете на нефусимците,

The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,

синовете на Ваквук, синовете на Акуфа, синовете на Арур,

The children of Bazlith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,

синовете на Васалот, синовете на Меида, синовете на Арса,

The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Tamah,

синовете на Варкос, синовете на Сисара, синовете на Тама,

The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.

синовете на Несий, синовете на Атифа.

The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,

Синовете на слугите на Соломон: синовете на Сотай, синовете на Соферет, синовете на Ферида,

The children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,

синовете на Яала, синовете на Даркон, синовете на Гедил,

The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Amon.

синовете на Сефатия, синовете на Атил, синовете на Фохерет от Севаим, синовете на Амон.

All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety and two.

Всичките нетиними и синовете на слугите на Соломон бяха триста деветдесет и двама души.

And these were they which went up also from Tel–melah, Tel–haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shew their father's house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.

А ето тези, които се изкачиха от Тел-Мелах, Тел-Ариса, Херуф, Адон и Емир, но не можаха да покажат бащините си домове и произхода си, дали са от Израил:

The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred forty and two.

синовете на Далая, синовете на Товия и синовете на Некода: шестстотин четиридесет и двама души.

And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, which took one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name.

И от свещениците: синовете на Авая, синовете на Акос, синовете на Верзелай, който взе жена от дъщерите на галаадеца Варзелай и се нарече по тяхното име.

These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.

Те търсиха записването си между записаните в родословието, но не се намери. И те бяха изключени от свещенството като нечисти.

And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.

И управителят им заповяда да не ядат от пресветите неща, докато не се издигне свещеник с Урим и Тумим.

The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,

Цялото събрание беше общо четиридесет и две хиляди триста и шестдесет души,

Beside their manservants and their maidservants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and they had two hundred forty and five singing men and singing women.

освен слугите им и слугините им, които бяха седем хиляди триста тридесет и седем. Имаха и двеста четиридесет и пет певци и певици.

Their horses, seven hundred thirty and six: their mules, two hundred forty and five:

Конете им бяха седемстотин тридесет и шест, мулетата им — двеста четиридесет и пет;

Their camels, four hundred thirty and five: six thousand seven hundred and twenty asses.

камилите им — четиристотин тридесет и пет, магаретата — шест хиляди седемстотин и двадесет.

And some of the chief of the fathers gave unto the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasure a thousand drams of gold, fifty basons, five hundred and thirty priests' garments.

И една част от главите на бащините домове дадоха за делото. Управителят даде за съкровището хиляда драхми злато, петдесет легена и петстотин и тридесет свещенически одежди.

And some of the chief of the fathers gave to the treasure of the work twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pound of silver.

И някои от главите на бащините домове дадоха за съкровището за делото двадесет хиляди драхми злато и две хиляди и двеста мнаси сребро.

And that which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pound of silver, and threescore and seven priests' garments.

А даденото от останалия народ беше двадесет хиляди драхми злато и две хиляди мнаси сребро, и шестдесет и седем свещенически одежди.

So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.

И свещениците и левитите, и вратарите, и певците, и тези от народа, и нетинимите, и целият Израил се заселиха в градовете си. И като настъпи седмият месец, израилевите синове бяха вече в градовете си.
