Acts 5

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

А един човек на име Анания, с жена си Сапфира, продаде имот

And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

и задържа от полученото със знанието на жена си; и донесе една част и я сложи пред краката на апостолите.

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

А Петър каза: Анание, защо Сатана изпълни сърцето ти, за да излъжеш Светия Дух и да задържиш от стойността на нивата?

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

Докато стоеше непродадена, не беше ли твоя? И след като се продаде, не бяха ли парите в твоята власт? Защо намисли това нещо в сърцето си? Ти излъга не хора, а Бога.

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

И Анания, като чу тези думи, падна и издъхна; и голям страх обзе всички, които чуха това.

And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

И по-младите мъже станаха, обвиха го, изнесоха го и го погребаха.

And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.

И като се минаха около три часа, влезе и жена му, без да знае за станалото.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

И Петър я попита: Кажи ми, за толкова ли продадохте нивата? И тя каза: За толкова.

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

А Петър каза: Защо се съгласихте да изкушите Господния Дух? Ето, краката на тези, които погребаха мъжа ти, са при вратата и ще изнесат и теб.

Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

И тя начаса падна до краката му и издъхна. И когато младежите влязоха, я намериха мъртва; изнесоха я и я погребаха до мъжа й.

And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

И голям страх обзе цялата църква и всички, които чуха това.

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

И чрез ръцете на апостолите ставаха много знамения и чудеса между народа и те всички бяха единодушно в Соломоновата зала;

And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

а от другите никой не смееше да се присъедини към тях. Но народът ги величаеше

And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

и все повече вярващи в Господа се прибавяха, множества от мъже и жени,

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

така че изнасяха болните по улиците и ги слагаха на постелки и на легла, че като минаваше Петър, поне сянката му да засегне някого от тях.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Събираше се още и множество от градовете около Ерусалим, които носеха болни и измъчвани от нечисти духове; и всички се изцеляваха.

Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation,

Тогава първосвещеникът и всички, които бяха с него, а именно сектата на садукеите, станаха и се изпълниха със завист,

And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.

сложиха ръце на апостолите и ги хвърлиха в общата тъмница.

But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,

Но през нощта Господен ангел отвори вратата на тъмницата, изведе ги и каза:

Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

Идете, застанете в храма и говорете на народа всичките думи на този живот.

And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

И те, като чуха това, влязоха на разсъмване в храма и поучаваха. А първосвещеникът и онези, които бяха с него, дойдоха и като свикаха Синедриона и цялото старейшинство на израилевите синове, пратиха в тъмницата, за да доведат апостолите.

But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,

Но когато служителите отидоха, не ги намериха в тъмницата и се върнаха, и известиха, като казаха:

Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.

Намерихме тъмницата заключена най-грижливо и стражарите да стоят вън при вратата, но като отворихме, не намерихме никого вътре.

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.

А когато първосвещеникът, началникът на храмовата стража и главните свещеници чуха тези думи, бяха в недоумение какво ще последва от това.

Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

Но дойде някой и им извести: Ето, мъжете, които хвърлихте в тъмницата, стоят в храма и поучават народа.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

Тогава началникът отиде със служителите и ги доведе без насилие, защото се бояха от народа, да не би да ги замерят с камъни.

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

И като ги доведоха, ги поставиха пред Синедриона и първосвещеникът ги попита, като каза:

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

Не ви ли заповядахме строго да не поучавате в това име? Но ето, напълнили сте Ерусалим с учението си и възнамерявате да докарате върху нас кръвта на този Човек!

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

А Петър и апостолите в отговор казаха: На нас подобава да се покоряваме повече на Бога, отколкото на хората.

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

Бог на бащите ни възкреси Иисус, когото вие убихте, като Го приковахте на дърво.

Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Него Бог възвиси до десницата Си за Княз и Спасител, за да даде покаяние на Израил и прощаване на греховете.

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

И ние сме Негови свидетели за тези неща и Светият Дух, когото Бог даде на онези, които Му се покоряват.

When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

А те, като чуха това, се късаха от яд и възнамеряваха да ги убият.

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

Но един фарисей на име Гамалиил, законоучител, почитан от целия народ, се изправи в Синедриона и заповяда да отведат апостолите навън за малко време;

And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

а на тях каза: Израилтяни, внимавайте добре какво ще направите на тези хора.

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

Защото преди известно време въстана Тевда и представяше себе си за голям човек, към когото се присъединиха около четиристотин мъже. Той беше убит и всички, които го следваха, се разпиляха и изчезнаха.

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

След него въстана галилеянинът Юда през времето на записването и повлече след себе си доста народ; и той загина и всички, които му се покоряваха, се разпръснаха.

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

И сега ви казвам, оттеглете се от тези хора и ги оставете, защото, ако това намерение или това дело е от хора, ще се развали;

But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

но ако е от Бога, няма да можете да го развалите. Пазете се да не би да се намерите и богопротивници.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

И те го послушаха; и като повикаха апостолите и ги биха, им заповядаха да не говорят в Името на Иисус и ги пуснаха.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

А те си отидоха от Синедриона радостни, че са били удостоени да претърпят опозоряване за Иисусовото Име.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

И нито един ден не преставаха да поучават и да благовестват и в храма, и по къщите, че Иисус е Христос.
