Psalms 145

Davidin kiitos. Minä ylistän sinua, Jumalani, sinä kuningas, ja kiitän sinun nimeäs aina ja ijankaikkiseti.

I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

Joka päivä minä kunnioitan sinua, ja kiitän sinun nimeäs aina ja ijankaikkisesti.

Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

Suuri on Herra, ja sangen kunniallinen, ja hänen suuruutensa on sanomatoin.

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Suku pitää suvulle jutteleman sinun töitäs, ja sinun voimastas puhuman.

One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

Minä ajattelen sinun suuren kunnias kauneutta ja sinun ihmeitäs;

I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

Että puhuttaisiin sinun ihmeellisten töittes voimasta: ja sinun suurta herrauttas minä juttelen;

And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.

Että sinun suuren hyvyytes muisto ylistettäisiin, ja sinun vanhurskautes kiitettäisiin.

They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.

Armollinen ja laupias on Herra, hidas vihaan ja sangen hyvä.

The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

Suloinen on Herra kaikille, ja armahtaa kaikkia tekojansa.

The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Kiittäkään sinua, Herra, kaikki sinun tekos, ja sinun pyhäs kiittäkään sinua;

All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.

Julistakaan sinun valtakuntas kunniaa, ja puhukaa sinun voimastas.

They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

Että sinun voimas tulis ihmisten lapsille tiettäväksi, ja sinun valtakuntas suuri kunnia.

To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

Sinun valtakuntas on ijankaikkinen valtakunta, ja sinun herrautes pysyy suvusta sukuun.

Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

Herra tukee kaikkia kaatuvaisia, ja nostaa kaikkia sullotuita.

The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

Kaikkein silmät vartioitsevat sinua, ja sinä annat heille ruan ajallansa.

The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

Sinä avaat kätes, ja ravitset kaikki, kuin elävät, suosiolla.

Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Vanhurskas on Herra kaikissa teissänsä, ja laupias kaikissa töissänsä.

The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

Läsnä on Herra kaikkia, jotka häntä avuksensa huutavat, kaikkia, jotka totuudessa häntä avuksensa huutavat.

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

Hän tekee, mitä häntä pelkääväiset halajavat, ja kuulee heidän huutonsa, ja auttaa heitä.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

Herra varjelee kaikkia, jotka häntä rakastavat, ja hukuttaa kaikki jumalattomat.

The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

Minun suuni pitää puhuman Herran kiitoksen, ja kaikki liha kunnioittakaan hänen pyhää nimeänsä, aina ja ijankaikkisesti.

My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
