Genesis 36

Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.

Αυτη δε ειναι η γενεαλογια του Ησαυ, οστις ειναι ο Εδωμ.

Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;

Ο Ησαυ ελαβε γυναικας εις εαυτον εκ των θυγατερων Χανααν την Αδα, θυγατερα Αιλων του Χετταιου, και την Ολιβαμα, θυγατερα του Ανα, εγγονην Σεβεγων του υαιου

And Bashemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebajoth.

και την Βασεμαθ, θυγατερα του Ισμαηλ, αδελφην του Νεβαιωθ.

And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel;

Εγεννησε δε εις τον Ησαυ η Αδα τον Ελιφας και η Βασεμαθ εγεννησε τον Ραγουηλ

And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan.

και η Ολιβαμα εγεννησε τον Ιεους και τον Ιεγλομ και τον Κορε. Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι του Ησαυ, οι γεννηθεντες εις αυτον εν τη γη Χανααν.

And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.

Ελαβε δε ο Ησαυ τας γυναικας αυτου και τους υιους αυτου και τας θυγατερας αυτου και παντας τους ανθρωπους του οικου αυτου και τα ποιμνια αυτου και παντα τα κτηνη αυτου και παντα τα υπαρχοντα τα οποια απεκτησεν εν γη Χανααν, και υπηγεν εις αλλην γην μακραν απο Ιακωβ του αδελφου αυτου

For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.

διοτι τα υπαρχοντα αυτων ησαν τοσον πολλα, ωστε δεν ηδυναντο να κατοικησωσιν ομου και δεν ηδυνατο η γη της παροικησεως αυτων να χωρεση αυτους, εξ αιτιας των κτηνων αυτων.

Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

Κατωκησε δε ο Ησαυ εν τω ορει Σηειρ ο Ησαυ ειναι ο Εδωμ.

And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir:

Και αυτη ειναι η γενεαλογια του Ησαυ, πατρος των Εδωμιτων, εν τω ορει Σηειρ

These are the names of Esau's sons; Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.

ταυτα ειναι τα ονοματα των υιων του Ησαυ Ελιφας ο υιος της Αδα γυναικος του Ησαυ, Ραγουηλ ο υιος της Βασεμαθ γυναικος του Ησαυ.

And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.

Και οι υιοι του Ελιφας ησαν Θαιμαν, Ωμαρ, Σωφαρ και Γοθωμ και Κενεζ.

And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau's wife.

Η δε Θαμνα ητο παλλακη του Ελιφας υιου του Ησαυ, και εγεννησεν εις τον Ελιφας τον Αμαληκ ουτοι ησαν οι υιοι της Αδα γυναικος του Ησαυ.

And these are the sons of Reuel; Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife.

Και ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι του Ραγουηλ Ναχαθ και Ζερα, Σομε και Μοζε ουτοι ησαν οι υιοι της Βασεμαθ γυναικος του Ησαυ.

And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: and she bare to Esau Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

Και ουτοι ησαν οι υιοι της Ολιβαμα θυγατρος του Ανα, εγγονης του Σεβεγων, της γυναικος του Ησαυ και εγεννησεν εις τον Ησαυ τον Ιεους και τον Ιεγλομ και τον Κορε.

These were dukes of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn son of Esau; duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,

Ουτοι ησαν οι ηγεμονες των υιων Ησαυ οι υιοι του Ελιφας πρωτοτοκου του Ησαυ, ηγεμων Θαιμαν, ηγεμων Ωμαρ, ηγεμων Σωφαρ, ηγεμων Κενεζ,

Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.

ηγεμων Κορε, ηγεμων Γοθωμ, ηγεμων Αμαληκ ουτοι ειναι οι ηγεμονες του Ελιφας εν τη γη Εδωμ ουτοι ησαν οι υιοι της Αδα.

And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son; duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah: these are the dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife.

Και ουτοι ησαν οι υιοι του Ραγουηλ υιου του Ησαυ ηγεμων Ναχαθ, ηγεμων Ζερα, ηγεμων Σομε, ηγεμων Μοζε ουτοι ειναι οι ηγεμονες του Ραγουηλ εν τη γη Εδωμ ουτοι ησαν οι υιοι της Βασεμαθ γυναικος του Ησαυ.

And these are the sons of Aholibamah Esau's wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah: these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife.

Και ουτοι ησαν οι υιοι της Ολιβαμα γυναικος του Ησαυ ηγεμων Ιεους, ηγεμων Ιεγλομ, ηγεμων Κορε ουτοι ησαν οι ηγεμονες της Ολιβαμα θυγατρος του Ανα, γυναικος του Ησαυ.

These are the sons of Esau, who is Edom, and these are their dukes.

Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι του Ησαυ, οστις ειναι ο Εδωμ και ουτοι οι ηγεμονες αυτων.

These are the sons of Seir the Horite, who inhabited the land; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,

Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι του Σηειρ του Χορραιου, οιτινες κατωκουν την γην Λωταν και Σωβαλ και Σεβεγων και Ανα,

And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the dukes of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.

και Δησων και Εσερ και Δισαν ουτοι ειναι οι ηγεμονες των Χορραιων, των υιων του Σηειρ, εν τη γη Εδωμ.

And the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister was Timna.

Οι δε υιοι του Λωταν ησαν Χορρι και Αιμαμ αδελφη δε του Λωταν, η Θαμνα.

And the children of Shobal were these; Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.

Ουτοι δε ησαν οι υιοι του Σωβαλ Αλβαν και Μαναχαθ και Εβαλ, Σεφω και Ωναμ.

And these are the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.

Ουτοι δε ησαν οι υιοι του Σεβεγων και Αιε και Ανα ουτος ειναι ο Ανα οστις ευρηκε τα υδατα εν τη ερημω, οτε εβοσκε τους ονους Σεβεγων του πατρος αυτου.

And the children of Anah were these; Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.

Ουτοι δε ησαν οι υιοι του Ανα Δησων και Ολιβαμα η θυγατηρ του Ανα.

And these are the children of Dishon; Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

Ουτοι δε ησαν οι υιοι του Δησων Αμαδαν και Ασβαν και Ιθραμ και Χαρραν.

The children of Ezer are these; Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.

Ουτοι ησαν οι υιοι του Εσερ Βαλααν και Ζααβαν και Ακαν.

The children of Dishan are these; Uz, and Aran.

Ουτοι ησαν οι υιοι του Δισαν Ουζ και Αραν.

These are the dukes that came of the Horites; duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah,

Ουτοι ειναι οι ηγεμονες των Χορραιων ηγεμων Λωταν, ηγεμων Σωβαλ, ηγεμων Σεβεγων, ηγεμων Ανα,

Duke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these are the dukes that came of Hori, among their dukes in the land of Seir.

ηγεμων Δησων, ηγεμων Εσερ, ηγεμων Δισαν ουτοι ειναι οι ηγεμονες των Χορραιων μεταξυ των ηγεμονων αυτων εν τη γη Σηειρ.

And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.

Και ουτοι ειναι οι βασιλεις οιτινες εβασιλευσαν εν τη γη Εδωμ, πριν βασιλευση βασιλευς επι τους υιους Ισραηλ.

And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

Και εβασιλευσεν εν Εδωμ Βελα, ο υιος του Βεωρ το δε ονομα της πολεως αυτου ητο Δενναβα.

And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

Και απεθανεν ο Βελα και εβασιλευσεν αντ αυτου ο Ιωβαβ, υιος του Ζερα, εκ Βοσορρας

And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his stead.

Και απεθανεν ο Ιωβαβ και εβασιλευσεν αντ αυτου ο Χουσαμ εκ της γης των Θαιμανιτων.

And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

Και απεθανεν ο Χουσαμ και εβασιλευσεν αντ αυτου ο Αδαδ, υιος του Βεραδ, ο παταξας τους Μαδιανιτας εν τη πεδιαδι Μωαβ το δε ονομα της πολεως αυτου ητο Αβιθ.

And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

Και απεθανεν ο Αδαδ, και εβασιλευσεν αντ αυτου ο Σαμλα εκ Μασρεκας.

And Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

Και απεθανεν ο Σαμλα και εβασιλευσεν αντ αυτου ο Σαουλ εκ Ρεχωβωθ της παρα τον ποταμον.

And Saul died, and Baal–hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

Και απεθανεν ο Σαουλ και εβασιλευσεν αντ αυτου Βααλ−αναν, ο υιος του Αχβωρ.

And Baal–hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

Και απεθανεν ο Βααλ−αναν, υιος του Αχβωρ, και εβασιλευσεν αντ αυτου ο Χαδδαρ το δε ονομα της πολεως αυτου ητο Παου και το ονομα της γυναικος αυτου, Μεεταβεηλ, θυγατηρ του Ματραιδ, εγγονη του Μαιζααβ.

And these are the names of the dukes that came of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names; duke Timnah, duke Alvah, duke Jetheth,

Και ταυτα ειναι τα ονοματα των ηγεμονων του Ησαυ, κατα τας οικογενειας αυτων, κατα τους τοπους αυτων, κατα τα ονοματα αυτων. ηγεμων Θαμνα, ηγεμων Αλβα, ηγεμων Ιεθεθ,

Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

ηγεμων Ολιβαμα, ηγεμων Ηλα, ηγεμων Φινων,

Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

ηγεμων Κενεζ, ηγεμων Θαιμαν, ηγεμων Μιβσαρ,

Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these be the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession: he is Esau the father of the Edomites.

ηγεμων Μαγεδιηλ, ηγεμων Ιραμ ουτοι ειναι οι ηγεμονες του Εδωμ, κατα τας κατοικιας αυτων εν τη γη της κτησεως αυτων ουτος ειναι ο Ησαυ, ο πατηρ των Εδωμιτων.
