I Kings 4

So king Solomon was king over all Israel.

Така цар Соломон царуваше над целия Израил.

And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,

А ето първенците, които имаше: Азария, синът на Садок, беше свещеник;

Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.

Елиореф и Ахия, синовете на Сиса, бяха писари; Йосафат, синът на Ахилуд, беше летописец;

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:

Ваная, синът на Йодая, беше над войската; Садок и Авиатар бяха свещеници;

And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king's friend:

Азария, синът на Натан, беше над надзирателите; Завуд, синът на Натан беше велможа, приятел на царя;

And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

Ахисар беше над дома; а Адонирам, синът на Авда, беше над задължителния труд.

And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

И Соломон имаше дванадесет надзиратели над целия Израил, които доставяха храна за царя и за дома му; всеки доставяше храна за един месец в годината.

And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:

И ето имената им: синът на Ор — в хълмистата земя на Ефрем;

The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth–shemesh, and Elon–beth–hanan:

синът на Декер — в Макас и Саалвим, и Ветсемес, и Елон-Ветанан;

The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:

синът на Есед — в Арувот; негов беше Сохо и цялата земя на Ефер;

The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

синът на Авинадав — в целия Нафат-Дор; той имаше за жена Соломоновата дъщеря Тафат;

Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth–shean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Beth–shean to Abel–meholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:

Ваана, синът на Ахилуд — в Таанах и Магедон, и в целия Ветсан, който е до Царетан под Езраел, от Ветсан до Авел-Меола чак от другата страна на Йокмеам;

The son of Geber, in Ramoth–gilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:

синът на Гевер — в Рамот-Галаад; негови бяха селищата на Яир, сина на Манасия, които са в Галаад; негова беше и ивицата Аргов, която е във Васан — шестдесет големи града със стени и бронзови лостове;

Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:

Ахинадав, синът на Идо — в Маханаим;

Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

Ахимаас — в Нефталим; и той беше взел Соломоновата дъщеря Васемата за жена;

Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:

Ваана, синът на Хусай — в Асир и в Алот;

Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:

Йосафат, синът на Фаруя — в Исахар;

Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:

Семей, синът на Ила — във Вениамин;

Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.

Гевер, синът на Урия — в галаадската земя, земята на аморейския цар Сион и на васанския цар Ог; и той беше единственият надзирател в тази земя.

Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.

Юда и Израил бяха така многобройни както морския пясък по множество; и ядяха, пиеха и се веселяха.

And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

И Соломон владееше над всичките царства от реката Ефрат до земята на филистимците и до границата на Египет. Те плащаха данък и служеха на Соломон през всичките дни на живота му.

And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,

А продоволствието на Соломон за един ден беше тридесет кора пшенично брашно, шестдесет кора брашно,

Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.

десет угоени говеда, двадесет говеда от пасбището и сто овце, освен елени, газели, сръндаци и угоени птици.

For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.

Защото той владееше над цялата земя отсам реката Ефрат, от Тапса до Газа, над всичките царе отсам реката; и имаше мир навсякъде около себе си.

And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beer–sheba, all the days of Solomon.

И Юда и Израил живееха в безопасност, всеки под лозата си и под смокинята си, от Дан до Вирсавее, през всичките дни на Соломон.

And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

И Соломон имаше четиридесет хиляди конюшни за конете на колесниците си и дванадесет хиляди конници.

And those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon's table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.

И надзирателите, всеки в месеца си, осигуряваха храна за цар Соломон и за всички, които идваха на трапезата на цар Соломон; не оставяха нищо да липсва.

Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.

Носеха и ечемик, и слама за конете и за колесничните коне на мястото, където бяха, всеки според определеното за него.

And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.

И Бог даде на Соломон мъдрост и изключително голям разум, и широта на сърцето като пясъка на морския бряг.

And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

И мъдростта на Соломон надмина мъдростта на всичките източни жители и цялата египетска мъдрост.

For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.

И той беше по-мъдър от всички хора — от езраеца Етан и от Еман, и от Халкол, и от Дарда, синовете на Маол; и името му беше известно сред всичките околни народи.

And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.

Той изрече три хиляди притчи, а песните му бяха хиляда и пет.

And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

Той говори и за дърветата — от ливанския кедър чак до исопа, който никне по стената; говори и за животните, за птиците, за влечугите и за рибите.

And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.

И от всички народи идваха да чуят мъдростта на Соломон, от всички царе на света, които бяха чули за неговата мъдрост.
