Psalms 55

(По слав. 54) За първия певец. На струнни инструменти. Маскил на Давид. Дай ухо на молитвата ми, Боже, и не се крий от молбата ми!

Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.

Чуй ме и отговори ми! Лутам се в тъгата си и стена

Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;

от гласа на врага, от притеснението на безбожния; защото хвърлят върху мене грях и в гняв враждуват против мен.

Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.

Сърцето ми тъжи във мен, нападнаха ме ужасите на смъртта.

My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.

Страх и трепет ме връхлетяха и ужас ме покри.

Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.

И казах: Да бих имал криле като гълъб! Щях да отлетя, да си почина.

And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.

Ето, щях да избягам далеч, щях да живея в пустинята. (Села.)

Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.

Щях да ускоря бягството си от вихъра и от бурята.

I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.

Унищожи, Господи, и раздели езика им, защото в града видях насилие и свада.

Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

Ден и нощ те го обикалят по стените му и грях и зло има сред него.

Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.

Лукавство има сред него, гнет и измама не се отдалечават от улиците му.

Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.

Понеже не враг ми се присмива — тогава бих го понесъл — нито мразещият ме се е възвеличил против мен — тогава бих се скрил от него —

For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:

а си ти, човек равен на мен, мой другар и мой близък приятел.

But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.

Заедно разговаряхме сладко, с множеството ходехме в Божия дом.

We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.

Нека дойде ненадейно смърт върху тях, нека слязат живи в Шеол, защото злини са в жилищата им и между тях.

Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.

А аз, аз ще извикам към Бога и ГОСПОД ще ме спаси.

As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.

Вечер и сутрин, и по обед ще се оплаквам и ще стена и Той ще чуе моя глас.

Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

Ще избави в мир душата ми от боя против мен; защото мнозина се бият с мен.

He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

Бог, който живее преди вековете, ще чуе и ще ги покори, (Села.) понеже нямат промяна, и не се боят от Бога.

God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

Той протяга ръце против онези, които бяха в мир с него; нарушил е завета си.

He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.

Устата му са по-гладки от масло, но в сърцето му има война; думите му са по-меки от маслинено масло, но са голи мечове.

The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

Възложи товара си на ГОСПОДА и Той ще те подпре; не ще допусне до века да се поклати праведният.

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Но Ти, Боже, ще ги свалиш долу в рова на погибелта; мъже кръвници и измамни няма да стигнат и до половината на дните си. Но аз на Теб ще се уповавам.

But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
