Acts 7

Тогава първосвещеникът каза: Това така ли е?

Then said the high priest, Are these things so?

А той каза: Братя и бащи, чуйте: Бог на славата се яви на нашия отец Авраам, когато беше в Месопотамия, преди да се засели в Харан,

And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

и му каза: ?Излез от отечеството си и от рода си и ела в земята, която ще ти покажа.“

And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.

Тогава той излезе от халдейската земя и се засели в Харан. И оттам след смъртта на баща му Бог го пресели в тази земя, в която вие сега живеете.

Then came he out of the land of the Chaldæans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

И не му даде в нея наследство, дори колкото да постави крака си, а обеща да я даде за притежание на него и на потомството му след него, въпреки че той нямаше дете.

And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.

И Бог му говори така: че неговите потомци ще бъдат пришълци в чужда земя, където щяха да ги поробят и притесняват четиристотин години.

And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.

Но Аз, каза Бог, ще съдя народа, на който ще робуват; и след това ще излязат и ще Ми служат на това място.

And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.

И му даде завета на обрязването; и така, Авраам роди Исаак и го обряза в осмия ден; Исаак роди Яков, а Яков – дванадесетте патриарси.

And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

А патриарсите завидяха на Йосиф и го продадоха в Египет, но Бог беше с него

And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,

и го избави от всичките му беди, и му даде благоволение и мъдрост пред египетския цар, фараона, който го постави управител над Египет и над целия си дом.

And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

И настана глад и голямо бедствие по цялата земя на Египет и Ханаан; и бащите ни не намираха прехрана.

Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.

А Яков, като чу, че в Египет имало жито, изпрати бащите ни за първи път;

But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.

и на втория път Йосиф се откри на братята си и родът на Йосиф стана известен на фараона.

And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph's kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.

И Йосиф прати да повикат баща му Яков и целия му род – седемдесет и пет души.

Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.

И така, Яков слезе в Египет, където умря – той и бащите ни;

So Jacob went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers,

и ги пренесоха в Сихем, и ги положиха в гроба в Сихем, който Авраам беше купил със сребро от синовете на Емор.

And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.

Но когато наближи времето да се изпълни обещанието, което Бог беше дал на Авраам, народът растеше и се умножаваше в Египет,

But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

докато се издигна друг цар, който не познаваше Йосиф.

Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph.

Той постъпваше коварно с нашия род и притесняваше бащите ни, като караше да хвърлят кърмачетата им, така че да не остават живи.

The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.

В това време се роди Мойсей, който беше мил на Бога, и три месеца го отглеждаха в бащиния му дом.

In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father's house three months:

А когато го хвърлиха, дъщерята на фараона го взе и го отгледа като свой син.

And when he was cast out, Pharaoh's daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son.

И Мойсей беше научен на цялата египетска мъдрост и беше силен в слово и в дело.

And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.

А като навърши четиридесет години, му дойде на сърце да посети братята си, израилтяните.

And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.

И виждайки един онеправдан, го защити и отмъсти за оскърбения, като уби египтянина,

And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian:

като мислеше, че братята му ще разберат, че Бог чрез неговата ръка им дава избавление; но те не разбраха.

For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

На следващия ден той се появи при тях, когато се биеха, и като искаше да ги помири, каза: Хора, вие сте братя; защо се оскърбявате един друг?

And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?

А този, който оскърбяваше ближния си, го отблъсна и каза: Кой те е поставил началник и съдия над нас?

But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?

И мен ли искаш да убиеш, както уби вчера египтянина?

Wilt thou kill me, as thou diddest the Egyptian yesterday?

Поради тази дума Мойсей побягна и стана пришълец в мадиамската земя, където роди двама сина.

Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.

И когато минаха четиридесет години, на планината Синай, в огнения пламък на една къпина, му се яви Ангел.

And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.

И Мойсей, като видя, се удиви на гледката; а когато се приближаваше да разгледа, дойде глас от Господа:

When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,

?Аз съм Богът на бащите ти – Бог Авраамов, Бог Исааков и Бог Яковов.“ И Мойсей се разтрепери и не смееше да погледне.

Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

И Господ му каза: ?Събуй сандалите от краката си, защото мястото, на което стоиш, е свята земя.

Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.

Видях, видях страданието на Моя народ, който е в Египет, чух стенанието им и слязох, за да ги избавя. И сега ела, и ще те изпратя в Египет.“

I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

Този Мойсей, когото бяха отхвърлили, като му казаха: Кой те постави началник и съдия? – него Бог чрез ръката на Ангела, който му се яви в къпината, изпрати и за началник, и за избавител.

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

Той ги изведе, като върши чудеса и знамения в Египет, в Червеното море и в пустинята в продължение на четиридесет години.

He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

Това е същият Мойсей, който каза на израилтяните: ?Бог ще ви издигне от братята ви Пророк като мен – Него слушайте.“

This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

Това е онзи, който беше в събранието в пустинята заедно с Ангела, който му говореше на Синайската планина, както и с бащите ни; който и прие животворни думи, за да ги предаде на нас.

This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

На него нашите бащи не искаха да се покорят, а го отхвърлиха и в сърцата си се обърнаха пак към Египет,

To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

като казаха на Аарон: Направи ни богове, които да ходят пред нас, защото този Мойсей, който ни изведе от египетската земя, не знаем какво му стана.

Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

И в онези дни те направиха теле и принесоха жертва на идола, и се веселяха в делото на собствените си ръце.

And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

Тогава Бог се отвърна и ги предаде да служат на небесното войнство, както е писано в книгата на пророците: ?Доме израилев, на Мен ли принасяхте заклани животни и жертви четиридесет години в пустинята?

Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

Напротив, носехте скинията на Молох и звездата на бога Рефан, изображенията, които си направихте, за да им се кланяте. Затова ще ви преселя оттатък Вавилон.“

Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Скинията на свидетелството беше с бащите ни в пустинята, както заповяда Онзи, който каза на Мойсей да я направи по образеца, който беше видял;

Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

която нашите бащи по реда си приеха и внесоха с Иисус Навиев във владенията на народите, които Бог изгони пред лицето на нашите бащи; и така стоеше до дните на Давид,

Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

който придоби Божието благоволение и поиска да намери обиталище за Якововия Бог.

Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

А Соломон Му построи дом.

But Solomon built him an house.

Но Всевишният не обитава в ръкотворни храмове, както казва пророкът:

Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

?Небето Ми е престол, а земята е Мое подножие. Какъв дом ще построите за Мен, казва Господ, или какво е мястото за Моя покой?

Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

Не направи ли Моята ръка всичко това?“

Hath not my hand made all these things?

Коравовратни и с необрязано сърце и уши! Вие винаги се противите на Светия Дух; както бащите ви, така и вие.

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

Кого от пророците не гониха бащите ви? А още и избиха онези, които предизвестиха за идването на Праведника, на когото вие сега станахте предатели и убийци –

Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

вие, които приехте закона чрез ангелска наредба и не го опазихте.

Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

А като слушаха това, сърцата им се късаха от яд и те скърцаха със зъби срещу него.

When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

А Стефан, като беше пълен със Свети Дух, погледна към небето и видя Божията слава и Иисус, стоящ отдясно на Бога;

But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

и каза: Ето, виждам небесата отворени и Човешкия Син, стоящ отдясно на Бога.

And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Но те, като изкрещяха със силен глас, запушиха ушите си и единодушно се спуснаха върху него,

Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

и го изведоха вън от града, и го замеряха с камъни. И свидетелите сложиха дрехите си при краката на един младеж на име Савел.

And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

И хвърляха камъни върху Стефан, който се молеше и казваше: Господи Иисусе, приеми духа ми!

And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

И като коленичи, извика със силен глас: Господи, не им считай този грях! И като изрече това, заспа.

And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
