I Corinthians 10

Не искам, братя, да не знаете, че нашите бащи са били всички под облака и всички са минали през морето,

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

и всички в Мойсей са се кръстили в облака и в морето,

And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

и всички са яли една и съща духовна храна,

And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

и всички са пили от едно и също духовно питие, защото пиеха от духовната Канара, която ги придружаваше — и тази Канара беше Христос.

And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Но въпреки това в повечето от тях Бог не благоволи, защото ги измори в пустинята.

But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

Но тези неща бяха пример за нас, за да не жадуваме за злото, както те жадуваха.

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

И не бъдете идолопоклонници, като някои от тях, според писаното: "Народът седна да яде и да пие, и стана да играе."

Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Нито да блудстваме, както блудстваха някои от тях и паднаха в един ден двадесет и три хиляди души.

Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Нито да изпитваме Христос, както някои от тях Го изпитаха и погинаха от змиите.

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

И не роптайте, както роптаеха някои от тях и погинаха от изтребителя.

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

А всичко това им се случи за пример и беше записано за поука на нас, върху които са дошли последните времена.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Затова, който мисли, че стои, нека внимава да не падне.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Никакво изкушение не ви е постигнало, освен това, което е човешко; но Бог е верен, който няма да допусне да бъдете изкушени повече, отколкото ви е силата, но заедно с изкушението ще даде и изходен път, така че да можете да го издържите.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Затова, възлюбени мои, бягайте от идолослужението.

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

Говоря като на разумни — вие сами съдете за това, което казвам.

I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

Чашата на благословението, която ние благославяме, не е ли участие в Христовата кръв? Хлябът, който разчупваме, не е ли участие в Христовото тяло?

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

Защото ние, многото, сме един хляб, едно тяло, понеже всички в този един хляб участваме.

For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

Вижте Израил по плът: тези, които ядат жертвите, нямат ли участие в олтара? Тогава какво?

Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

Казвам ли аз, че идолът е нещо или че идоложертвеното е нещо?

What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

Не, но онова, което жертват езичниците, го жертват на демоните, а не на Бога, но аз не желая вие да имате общение с демоните.

But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

Не можете да пиете Господната чаша и чашата на демоните, не можете да участвате в Господната трапеза и в трапезата на демоните.

Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

Или искаме да подбудим Господа към ревност? Ние по-силни ли сме от Него?

Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

Всичко е позволено, но не всичко е полезно; всичко е позволено, но не всичко е изграждащо.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

Никой да не търси своята си полза, а всеки — ползата на другия.

Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.

Яжте всичко, което се продава в месарницата, без да го изпитвате заради съвестта си;

Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

защото "Господна е земята и всичко, каквото има в нея."

For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.

Ако ви покани някой от невярващите и вие желаете да отидете, яжте каквото и да сложат пред вас, без да го изпитвате заради съвестта си.

If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

Но ако някой ви каже: Това е било принесено в жертва на идоли; не яжте заради този, който ви го е известил, и заради съвестта.

But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof:

Имам предвид не твоята съвест, а на другия; понеже, защо да се съди моята свобода от друга съвест?

Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience?

Ако аз участвам в яденето с благодарение, защо да ме злословят за онова, за което благодаря?

For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

И така, ядете ли, пиете ли, или вършите нещо друго, всичко вършете за Божията слава.

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Не ставайте спънка нито за юдеи, нито за гърци, нито за Божията църква,

Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

както и аз се стремя да угодя на всички във всичко, като търся не своята собствена полза, а ползата на мнозина, за да се спасят.

Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
