Isaiah 3

Διοτι ιδου, ο Κυριος, ο Κυριος των δυναμεων, θελει αφαιρεσει απο της Ιερουσαλημ και απο του Ιουδα υποστηριγμα και βοηθειαν, απαν το υποστηριγμα του αρτου και απαν το υποστηριγμα του υδατος,

For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,

ισχυρον και πολεμιστην, κριτην και προφητην και συνετον και πρεσβυτερον,

The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,

πεντηκονταρχον και εντιμον και συμβουλον και σοφον τεχνιτην και συνετον γοητευτην.

The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.

Και θελω δωσει παιδαρια αρχοντας αυτων, και νηπια θελουσιν εξουσιαζει επ αυτων.

And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

Και ο λαος θελει καταδυναστευεσθαι, ανθρωπος υπο ανθρωπου, και εκαστος υπο του πλησιον αυτου το παιδιον θελει αλαζονευεσθαι προς τον γεροντα, και ο ποταπος προς τον εντιμον.

And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

Εαν τις πιαση τον αδελφον αυτου εκ του οικου του πατρος αυτου, λεγων, Ιματιον εχεις, γενου αρχηγος ημων, και ο αφανισμος ουτος ας ηναι υπο την χειρα σου.

When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:

Εν εκεινη τη ημερα θελει ομοσει, λεγων, δεν θελω γεινει θεραπευτης διοτι εν τη οικια μου δεν ειναι ουτε αρτος ουτε ιματιον μη με καμητε αρχηγον του λαου

In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.

διοτι ηφανισθη η Ιερουσαλημ και επεσεν ο Ιουδας, επειδη η γλωσσα αυτων και τα εργα αυτων ηναι εναντια εις τον Κυριον, παροξυνωσι τους οφθαλμους της δοξης αυτου.

For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

Η υψωσις του προσωπου αυτων μαρτυρει εναντιον αυτων και κηρυττουσι την αμαρτιαν αυτων ως τα Σοδομα δεν κρυπτουσιν αυτην. Ουαι εις την ψυχην αυτων διοτι ανταπεδωκαν εις εαυτους κακα.

The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

Ειπατε προς τον δικαιον οτι καλον θελει εισθαι εις αυτον διοτι θελει φαγει τον καρπον των εργων αυτου.

Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

Ουαι εις τον ανομον κακον θελει εισθαι εις αυτον διοτι η ανταποδοσις των χειρων αυτου θελει γεινει εις αυτον.

Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

Τον λαον μου, παιδαρια καταδυναστευουσιν αυτον, και γυναικες εξουσιαζουσιν επ αυτου. Λαε μου, οι οδηγοι σου σε καμνουσι να πλανασαι και καταστρεφουσι την οδον των βηματων σου.

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

Ο Κυριος εξεγειρεται δια να δικαση και ισταται δια να κρινη τους λαους.

The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.

Ο Κυριος θελει εισελθει εις κρισιν μετα των πρεσβυτερων του λαου αυτου και μετα των αρχοντων αυτου διοτι σεις κατεφαγετε τον αμπελωνα τα αρπαγματα του πτωχου ειναι εν ταις οικιαις υμων.

The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

Δια τι καταδυναστευετε τον λαον μου και καταθλιβετε τα προσωπα των πτωχων; λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος των δυναμεων.

What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

Και λεγει Κυριος, Επειδη αι θυγατερες της Σιων υπερηφανευθησαν και περιπατουσι με υψωμενον τραχηλον και με ομματα ασεμνα, περιπατουσαι τρυφηλα και τριζουσαι με τους ποδας αυτων,

Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:

δια τουτο ο Κυριος θελει φαλακρωσει την κορυφην της κεφαλης των θυγατερων της Σιων, και ο Κυριος θελει εκκαλυψει την αισχυνην αυτων.

Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.

Εν εκεινη τη ημερα ο Κυριος θελει αφαιρεσει την δοξαν των τριζοντων στολισμων και τα εμπλοκια και τους μηνισκους,

In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,

τα περιδεραια και τα βραχιολια και τας καλυπτρας,

The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,

τους κεκρυφαλους και τας περισκελιδας και τα κεφαλοδεσμα και τας μυροθηκας και τα ενωτια,

The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,

τα δακτυλιδια και τα ερρινα,

The rings, and nose jewels,

τας ποικιλας στολας και τα επενδυματα και τα περικαλυμματα και τα θυλακια,

The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,

τα κατοπτρα και τα λεπτα λινα και τας μιτρας και τα θεριστρα.

The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.

Και αντι της γλυκειας οσμης θελει εισθαι δυσωδια και αντι ζωνης σχοινιον και αντι καλλικομιας φαλακρωμα και αντι επιστομαχιου περιζωμα σακκινον ηλιοκαυμα αντι ωραιοτητος.

And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.

Οι ανδρες σου θελουσι πεσει εν μαχαιρα και η δυναμις σου εν πολεμω.

Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.

Και αι πυλαι αυτης θελουσι στεναξει και πενθησει και αυτη θελει κοιτεσθαι επι του εδαφους ηρημωμενη.

And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.
