I Chronicles 24

Now these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

ہارون کی اولاد کو بھی مختلف گروہوں میں تقسیم کیا گیا۔ ہارون کے چار بیٹے ندب، ابیہو، اِلی عزر اور اِتمر تھے۔

But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest's office.

ندب اور ابیہو اپنے باپ سے پہلے مر گئے، اور اُن کے بیٹے نہیں تھے۔ اِلی عزر اور اِتمر امام بن گئے۔

And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.

داؤد نے اماموں کو خدمت کے مختلف گروہوں میں تقسیم کیا۔ صدوق اور اخی مَلِک نے اِس میں داؤد کی مدد کی (صدوق اِلی عزر کی اولاد میں سے اور اخی مَلِک اِتمر کی اولاد میں سے تھا)۔

And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and thus were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen chief men of the house of their fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.

اِلی عزر کی اولاد کو 16 گروہوں میں اور اِتمر کی اولاد کو 8 گروہوں میں تقسیم کیا گیا، کیونکہ اِلی عزر کی اولاد کے اِتنے ہی زیادہ خاندانی سرپرست تھے۔

Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.

تمام ذمہ داریاں قرعہ ڈال کر اِن مختلف گروہوں میں تقسیم کی گئیں، کیونکہ اِلی عزر اور اِتمر دونوں خاندانوں کے بہت سارے ایسے افسر تھے جو پہلے سے مقدِس میں رب کی خدمت کرتے تھے۔

And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and before the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.

یہ ذمہ داریاں تقسیم کرنے کے لئے اِلی عزر اور اِتمر کی اولاد باری باری قرعہ ڈالتے رہے۔ قرعہ ڈالتے وقت بادشاہ، اسرائیل کے بزرگ، صدوق امام، اخی مَلِک بن ابیاتر اور اماموں اور لاویوں کے خاندانی سرپرست حاضر تھے۔ میرمنشی سمعیاہ بن نتنی ایل نے جو خود لاوی تھا خدمت کے اِن گروہوں کی فہرست ذیل کی ترتیب سے لکھ لی جس طرح وہ قرعہ ڈالنے سے مقرر کئے گئے،

Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,

1۔ یہویریب، 2۔ یدعیاہ،

The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,

3۔ حارِم، 4۔ سعوریم،

The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,

5۔ ملکیاہ، 6۔ میامین،

The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,

7۔ ہقوض، 8۔ ابیاہ،

The ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,

9۔ یشوع، 10۔ سکنیاہ،

The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,

11۔ اِلیاسب، 12۔ یقیم،

The thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,

13۔ خُفّاہ، 14۔ یسبِئاب،

The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,

15۔ بِلجہ، 16۔ اِمّیر،

The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,

17۔ خزیر، 18۔ فِضیض،

The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,

19۔ فتحیاہ، 20۔ یحِزقیل،

The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,

21۔ یکین، 22۔ جمول،

The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.

23۔ دِلایاہ، 24۔ معزیاہ۔

These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.

اماموں کو اِسی ترتیب کے مطابق رب کے گھر میں آ کر اپنی خدمت سرانجام دینی تھی، اُن ہدایات کے مطابق جو رب اسرائیل کے خدا نے اُنہیں اُن کے باپ ہارون کی معرفت دی تھیں۔

And the rest of the sons of Levi were these: Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.

ذیل کے لاویوں کے مزید خاندانی سرپرست ہیں: عمرام کی اولاد میں سے سوبائیل، سوبائیل کی اولاد میں سے یحدیاہ

Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first was Isshiah.

رحبیاہ کی اولاد میں سے یِسیاہ سرپرست تھا،

Of the Izharites; Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth; Jahath.

اِضہار کی اولاد میں سے سلومیت، سلومیت کی اولاد میں سے یحت،

And the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.

حبرون کی اولاد میں سے بڑے سے لے کر چھوٹے تک یریاہ، امریاہ، یحزی ایل اور یقمعام،

Of the sons of Uzziel; Michah: of the sons of Michah; Shamir.

عُزی ایل کی اولاد میں سے میکاہ، میکاہ کی اولاد میں سے سمیر،

The brother of Michah was Isshiah: of the sons of Isshiah; Zechariah.

میکاہ کا بھائی یِسیاہ، یِسیاہ کی اولاد میں سے زکریاہ،

The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi: the sons of Jaaziah; Beno.

مِراری کی اولاد میں سے محلی اور مُوشی، اُس کے بیٹے یعزیاہ کی اولاد،

The sons of Merari by Jaaziah; Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.

مِراری کے بیٹے یعزیاہ کی اولاد میں سے سوہم، زکور اور عِبری،

Of Mahli came Eleazar, who had no sons.

محلی کی اولاد میں سے اِلی عزر اور قیس۔ اِلی عزر بےاولاد تھا جبکہ قیس کے ہاں یرحمئیل پیدا ہوا۔

Concerning Kish: the son of Kish was Jerahmeel.

محلی کی اولاد میں سے اِلی عزر اور قیس۔ اِلی عزر بےاولاد تھا جبکہ قیس کے ہاں یرحمئیل پیدا ہوا۔

The sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.

مُوشی کی اولاد میں سے محلی، عِدر اور یریموت بھی لاویوں کے اِن مزید خاندانی سرپرستوں میں شامل تھے۔

These likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren.

اماموں کی طرح اُن کی ذمہ داریاں بھی قرعہ اندازی سے مقرر کی گئیں۔ اِس سلسلے میں سب سے چھوٹے بھائی کے خاندان کے ساتھ اور سب سے بڑے بھائی کے خاندان کے ساتھ سلوک برابر تھا۔ اِس کارروائی کے لئے بھی داؤد بادشاہ، صدوق، اخی مَلِک اور اماموں اور لاویوں کے خاندانی سرپرست حاضر تھے۔
