Psalms 77

I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

मैं सहायता पाने के लिये परमेश्वर को पुकारूँगा। हे परमेश्वर, मैं तेरी विनती करता हूँ, तू मेरी सुन ले!

In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

हे मेरे स्वामी, मुझ पर जब दु:ख पड़ता है, मैं तेरी शरण में आता हूँ। मैं सारी रात तुझ तक पहुँचने में जुझा हूँ। मेरा मन चैन पाने को नहीं माना।

I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

मैं परमेश्वर का मनन करता हूँ, और मैं जतन करता रहता हूँ कि मैं उससे बात करूँ और बता दूँ कि मुझे कैसा लग रहा है। किन्तु हाय मैं ऐसा नहीं कर पाता।

Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

तू मुझे सोने नहीं देगा। मैंने जतन किया है कि मैं कुछ कह डालूँ, किन्तु मैं बहुत घबराया था।

I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

मैं अतीत की बातें सोचते रहा। बहुत दिनों पहले जो बातें घटित हुई थी उनके विषय में मैं सोचता ही रहा।

I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

रात में, मैं निज गीतों के विषय़ में सोचता हूँ। मैं अपने आप से बातें करता हूँ, और मैं समझने का यत्न करता हूँ।

Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

मुझको यह हैरानी है, “क्या हमारे स्वमी ने हमे सदा के लिये त्यागा है क्या वह हमको फिर नहीं चाहेगा

Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

क्या परमेश्वर का प्रेम सदा को जाता रहा क्या वह हमसे फिर कभी बात करेगा

Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

क्या परमेश्वर भूल गया है कि दया क्या होती है क्या उसकी करूणा क्रोध में बदल गयी है”

And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

फिर यह सोचा करता हूँ, “वह बात जो मुझे खाये डाल रही है: ‘क्या परम परमेश्वर आपना निज शाक्ति खो बैठा है’?”

I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

याद करो वे शाक्ति भरे काम जिनको यहोवा ने किये। हे परमेश्वर, जो काम तूने बहुत समय पहले किये मुझको याद है।

I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

मैंने उन सभी कामों को जिनको तूने किये है मनन किया। जिन कामों को तूने किया मैंने सोचा है।

Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

हे परमेश्वर, तेरी राहें पवित्र हैं। हे परमेश्वर, कोई भी महान नहीं है, जैसा तू महान है।

Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

तू ही वह परमेश्वर है जिसने अद्भुत कार्य किये। तू ने लोगों को अपनी निज महाशक्ति दर्शायी।

Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

तूने निज शक्ति का प्रयोग किया और भक्तों को बचा लिया। तूने याकूब और यूसुफ की संताने बचा ली।

The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

हे परमेश्वर, तुझे सागर ने देखा और वह डर गया। गहरा समुद्र भय से थर थर काँप उठा।

The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

सघन मेघों से उनका जल छूट पड़ा था। ऊँचे मेघों से तीव्र गर्जन लोगों ने सुना। फिर उन बादलों से बिजली के तेरे बाण सारे बादलों में कौंध गये।

The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

कौंधती बिजली में झँझावान ने तालियाँ बजायी जगत चमक—चमक उठा। धरती हिल उठी और थर थर काँप उठी।

Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

हे परमेश्वर, तू गहरे समुद्र में ही पैदल चला। तूने चलकर ही सागर पार किया। किन्तु तूने कोई पद चिन्ह नहीं छोड़ा।

Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

तूने मुसा और हारून का उपयोग निज भक्तों की अगुवाई भेड़ों के झुण्ड की तरह करने में किया।
