Psalms 74

O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?

(По слав. 73) Маскил на Асаф. Боже, защо си ни отхвърлил навеки и гневът Ти дими против овцете на пасбището Ти?

Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.

Спомни си събранието Си, което си придобил още отначало, което си изкупил за племе на наследството Си, и хълма Сион, където си обитавал.

Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.

Издигни стъпките Си към постоянните развалини — врагът е развалил всичко в светилището.

Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.

Противниците Ти реват сред мястото на събранието Ти, поставиха знаците си за знаци на победа.

A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.

Показват се като един, който вдига брадва сред гъста гора.

But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.

И сега те трошат всичките й изваяни произведения с брадви и чукове.

They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.

Запалиха светилището Ти, оскверниха обиталището на Твоето Име и го сравниха със земята.

They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.

Казаха в сърцето си: Нека ги унищожим напълно! Изгориха всичките места на Божии събрания в земята.

We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.

Не виждаме своите знамения, няма вече пророк, нито има между нас някой, който да знае докога ще е това.

O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

Докога, Боже, противникът ще хули? Навеки ли врагът ще презира Името Ти?

Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.

Защо оттегляш ръката Си и десницата Си? Извади я от пазвата Си и сложи край!

For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

А Бог е мой Цар от древността, който извършва спасителни дела на земята.

Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.

Ти си разделил морето със силата Си, Ти си смазал главите на морските чудовища във водите,

Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.

Ти си строшил главите на левиатана, дал си го за храна на акулите в морето.

Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.

Ти си разпукнал извори и потоци, Ти си пресушил непресъхващи реки.

The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.

Твой е денят, Твоя е и нощта, Ти си приготвил светлината и слънцето.

Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.

Ти си поставил всичките граници на земята, Ти си направил лято и зима.

Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.

Помни това, че врагът е похулил ГОСПОДА и че безумен народ е презрял Твоето Име.

O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.

Не предавай душата на гургулицата Си на дивия звяр; не забравяй навеки събранието на Своите страдащи!

Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.

Погледни на завета Си, защото мрачните места на земята са пълни с обиталищата на насилието.

O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.

Нека потиснатият да не се върне посрамен, нека сиромахът и бедният да хвалят Твоето Име!

Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.

Стани, Боже, защити делото Си, помни как безумният Те укорява всеки ден.

Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.

Не забравяй гласа на враговете Си! Врявата на онези, които се надигат против Теб, постоянно се увеличава.
