Matthew 25

Alsdann wird das Reich der Himmel gleich geworden sein zehn Jungfrauen, welche ihre Lampen nahmen und ausgingen, dem Bräutigam entgegen.

Fünf aber von ihnen waren klug und fünf töricht.

Die, welche töricht waren, nahmen ihre Lampen und nahmen kein Öl mit sich;

die Klugen aber nahmen Öl in ihren Gefäßen mit ihren Lampen.

Ko te hunga mahara i mau hinu atu i roto i a ratou ipu me a ratou rama.

Als aber der Bräutigam verzog, wurden sie alle schläfrig und schliefen ein.

Ka whakaroa te tane marena hou, ka tunewha ratou katoa, ka moe.

Um Mitternacht aber entstand ein Geschrei: Siehe, der Bräutigam! gehet aus, ihm entgegen!

Na, i waenganui po, ka pa te karanga, E, ko te tane marena hou! Puta mai koutou ki te whakatau i a ia.

Da standen alle jene Jungfrauen auf und schmückten ihre Lampen.

Katahi ka ara katoa aua wahine, ka whakapai i a ratou rama.

Die Törichten aber sprachen zu den Klugen: Gebet uns von eurem Öl, denn unsere Lampen erlöschen.

Na ka mea te hunga maharakore ki te hunga mahara, Homai ki a matou tetahi wahi o ta koutou hinu: ka pirau hoki a matou rama.

Die Klugen aber antworteten und sagten: Nicht also, damit es nicht etwa für uns und euch nicht ausreiche; gehet lieber hin zu den Verkäufern und kaufet für euch selbst.

Als sie aber hingingen zu kaufen, kam der Bräutigam, und die bereit waren, gingen mit ihm ein zur Hochzeit; und die Tür ward verschlossen.

Später aber kommen auch die übrigen Jungfrauen und sagen: Herr, Herr, tue uns auf!

Muri iho ka tae era wahine, ka mea, E te Ariki, e te Ariki, uakina ki a matou.

Er aber antwortete und sprach: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, ich kenne euch nicht.

Na ka whakahoki ia, ka mea, He pono taku e mea nei ki a koutou, Kahore ahau e mohio ki a koutou.

So wachet nun, denn ihr wisset weder den Tag noch die Stunde.

Denn gleichwie ein Mensch, der außer Landes reiste, seine eigenen Knechte rief und ihnen seine Habe übergab:

Der die fünf Talente empfangen hatte, ging aber hin und handelte mit denselben und gewann andere fünf Talente.

Desgleichen auch, der die zwei empfangen hatte, auch er gewann andere zwei.

Der aber das eine empfangen hatte, ging hin, grub in die Erde und verbarg das Geld seines Herrn.

Ko te tangata ia i te mea kotahi, haere ana, kei te keri ki te whenua, a huna ana e ia te moni a tona ariki.

Nach langer Zeit aber kommt der Herr jener Knechte und hält Rechnung mit ihnen.

A, roa rawa iho, ka puta te ariki o aua pononga, ka mea kia korerotia ana moni e ratou ki a ia.

Und es trat herzu, der die fünf Talente empfangen hatte, und brachte andere fünf Talente und sagte: Herr, fünf Talente hast du mir übergeben; siehe, andere fünf Talente habe ich zu denselben gewonnen.

Es trat aber auch herzu, der die zwei Talente empfangen hatte, und sprach: Herr, zwei Talente hast du mir übergeben; siehe, andere zwei Talente habe ich zu denselben gewonnen.

und ich fürchtete mich und ging hin und verbarg dein Talent in der Erde; siehe, da hast du das Deine.

Na ka wehi ahau, a haere ana, huna ana i tau taranata ki te whenua: na, tau na.

Sein Herr aber antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Böser und fauler Knecht! du wußtest, daß ich ernte, wo ich nicht gesät, und sammle, wo ich nicht ausgestreut habe?

Nehmet nun das Talent von ihm und gebet es dem, der die zehn Talente hat;

Ko tenei, tangohia te taranata i a ia, hoatu ki tera i nga taranata kotahi tekau.

denn jedem, der da hat, wird gegeben werden, und er wird Überfluß haben; von dem aber, der nicht hat, von dem wird selbst, was er hat, weggenommen werden.

Ki te whai mea hoki tetahi, ka hoatu ano ki a ia, a ka maha atu ana: a, ki te kahore he mea a tetahi, ko ana mea ake ka tangohia i a ia.

Und den unnützen Knecht werfet hinaus in die äußere Finsternis: da wird sein das Weinen und das Zähneknirschen.

Na maka te pononga huakore ki te pouri i waho: ko te wahi tera o te tangi, o te tetea o nga niho.

Wenn aber der Sohn des Menschen kommen wird in seiner Herrlichkeit, und alle Engel mit ihm, dann wird er auf seinem Throne der Herrlichkeit sitzen;

Na, hei te taenga mai o te Tama a te tangata me tona kororia, ratou tahi ko nga anahera, ko reira ia noho ai ki runga ki te torona o tona kororia:

und vor ihm werden versammelt werden alle Nationen, und er wird sie voneinander scheiden, gleichwie der Hirt die Schafe von den Böcken scheidet.

A ka whakaminea ki tona aroaro nga iwi katoa: ka wehea ratou e ia etahi i etahi, ka peratia me te hepara e wehe nei i nga hipi, i nga koati:

Und er wird die Schafe zu seiner Rechten stellen, die Böcke aber zur Linken.

Dann wird der König zu denen zu seiner Rechten sagen: Kommet her, Gesegnete meines Vaters, ererbet das Reich, das euch bereitet ist von Grundlegung der Welt an;

Katahi te Kingi ka mea ki te hunga i tona matau, Haere mai, e te hunga whakapai a toku Matua, nohoia te rangatiratanga kua rite noa ake mo koutou no te orokohanganga ra ano o te ao:

denn mich hungerte, und ihr gabet mir zu essen; mich dürstete, und ihr tränktet mich; ich war Fremdling, und ihr nahmet mich auf;

Alsdann werden die Gerechten ihm antworten und sagen: Herr, wann sahen wir dich hungrig und speisten dich? oder durstig und tränkten dich?

Na ka whakahoki te hunga tika ki a ia, ka mea, E te Ariki, nonahea matou i kite ai i a koe e hiakai ana, a whangai ana i a koe? e mate ana ranei i te wai, e whakainu ana i a koe?

wann aber sahen wir dich als Fremdling, und nahmen dich auf? oder nackt und bekleideten dich?

Nohea matou i kite ai i a koe e manene ana, a whakamanuhiri ana i a koe? e tu tahanga ana ranei, a whakakakahu ana i a koe?

wann aber sahen wir dich krank oder im Gefängnis und kamen zu dir?

Nonahea hoki matou i kite ai i a koe e turoro ana, i te whare herehere ranei, a haere ana ki a koe?

Und der König wird antworten und zu ihnen sagen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, insofern ihr es einem der geringsten dieser meiner Brüder getan habt, habt ihr es mir getan.

Ko reira whakahoki ai te Kingi, mea ai ki a ratou, He pono taku e mea nei ki a koutou, Ko ta koutou i mea ai ki tetahi o aku teina, ahakoa ki te iti rawa, he meatanga tena ki ahau.

Dann wird er auch zu denen zur Linken sagen: Gehet von mir, Verfluchte, in das ewige Feuer, das bereitet ist dem Teufel und seinen Engeln;

Ko reira ia ki atu ai ki te hunga i te taha ki maui, Mawehe atu i ahau, e te hunga ka oti nei te kanga, ki te ahi ka tonu, kua ka noa ake mo te rewera ratou ko ana anahera:

denn mich hungerte, und ihr gabet mir nicht zu essen; mich dürstete, und ihr tränktet mich nicht;

I hiakai hoki ahau, a kihai i whangainga e koutou: i mate i te wai, a kihai i whakainumia e koutou:

ich war Fremdling, und ihr nahmet mich nicht auf; nackt, und ihr bekleidetet mich nicht; krank und im Gefängnis, und ihr besuchtet mich nicht.

He manene ahau, a kihai i whakamanuhiritia e koutou: i tu tahanga, a kihai i whakakakahuria e koutou: he turoro ahau, i te whare herehere, a kihai koutou i tirotiro i ahau.

Dann werden auch sie antworten und sagen: Herr, wann sahen wir dich hungrig, oder durstig, oder als Fremdling, oder nackt, oder krank, oder im Gefängnis, und haben dir nicht gedient?

Ko reira ano ratou whakahoki ai ki a ia, mea ai, E te Ariki, nonahea matou i kite ai i a koe e hiakai ana, e mate wai ana, e manene ana, e tu tahanga ana, e turoro ana, i te whare herehere ranei, a kihai i mahi mea mau?

Dann wird er ihnen antworten und sagen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, insofern ihr es einem dieser Geringsten nicht getan habt, habt ihr es auch mir nicht getan.

Ko reira whakahoki ai ia ki a ratou, mea ai, He pono taku e mea nei ki a koutou, I te mea kihai nei i meatia e koutou ki tetahi o nga nonohi rawa nei, ina, kihai i meatia ki ahau.

Und diese werden hingehen in die ewige Pein, die Gerechten aber in das ewige Leben.

Na ko enei e haere ki te whiu utu hara kahore nei ona mutunga: ko te hunga tika ia ki te ora tonu.
