Psalms 83

83:1
Пісня. Псалом Асафів.
Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
83:2
Боже, не будь мовчазним, не мовчи, і не будь Ти спокійним, о Боже,
For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
83:3
бо ось зашуміли Твої вороги, а Твої ненависники голови попідіймали!
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
83:4
Вони проти народу Твого хитрий задум видумують, і нараджуються проти тих, кого Ти бережеш!
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
83:5
Вони кажуть: Ходіть но, та знищимо їх з-між народів, і згадуватись більш не буде імення ізраїля!
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
83:6
Бо вони однодушно нарадилися, проти Тебе умови складають,
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
83:7
намети Едома й ізмаїльтян, Моав та агаряни,
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
83:8
Ґевал і Аммон, і Амалик, Филистея з мешканцями Тиру.
Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
83:9
і Ашшур поєднався був з ними, вони синам Лотовим стали раменом. Села.
Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
83:10
Зроби їм, як Мідіянові, як Сісері, як Явінові в долині Кішон,
Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
83:11
при Ен-Дорі вони були знищені, стали погноєм землі!
Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
83:12
Поклади їх та їхніх вельмож, як Орева, й як Зеева, й як Зеваха, й як Цалмунну, усіх їхніх князів,
Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
83:13
що казали були: Візьмімо на спадок для себе помешкання Боже!
O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
83:14
Боже мій, бодай стали вони, немов порох у вихрі, як солома на вітрі!
As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
83:15
Як огонь палить ліс, й як запалює полум'я гори,
So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
83:16
так Ти їх пожени Своїм вихром, і настраш Своєю бурею!
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
83:17
Наповни обличчя їхнє соромом, і хай шукають вони Твоє Ймення, о Господи!
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
83:18
Нехай будуть вони засоромлені, й завжди хай будуть настрашені, і хай застидаються, й хай вони згинуть! і нехай вони знають, що Ти, Твоє Ймення Господь, Сам Ти, Всевишній, на цілій землі!
That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
