Isaiah 32

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.

ایک بادشاہ آنے والا ہے جو انصاف سے حکومت کرے گا۔ اُس کے افسر بھی صداقت سے حکمرانی کریں گے۔

And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

ہر ایک آندھی اور طوفان سے پناہ دے گا، ہر ایک ریگستان میں ندیوں کی طرح تر و تازہ کرے گا، ہر ایک تپتی دھوپ میں بڑی چٹان کا سا سایہ دے گا۔

And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.

تب دیکھنے والوں کی آنکھیں اندھی نہیں رہیں گی، اور سننے والوں کے کان دھیان دیں گے۔

The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

جلدبازوں کے دل سمجھ دار ہو جائیں گے، اور ہکلوں کی زبان روانی سے صاف بات کرے گی۔

The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.

اُس وقت نہ احمق شریف کہلائے گا، نہ بدمعاش کو ممتاز قرار دیا جائے گا۔

For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

کیونکہ احمق حماقت بیان کرتا ہے، اور اُس کا ذہن شریر منصوبے باندھتا ہے۔ وہ بےدین حرکتیں کر کے رب کے بارے میں کفر بکتا ہے۔ بھوکے کو وہ بھوکا چھوڑتا اور پیاسے کو پانی پینے سے روکتا ہے۔

The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.

بدمعاش کے طریقِ کار شریر ہیں۔ وہ ضرورت مند کو جھوٹ سے تباہ کرنے کے منصوبے باندھتا رہتا ہے، خواہ غریب حق پر کیوں نہ ہو۔

But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.

اُس کے مقابلے میں شریف آدمی شریف منصوبے باندھتا اور شریف کام کرنے میں ثابت قدم رہتا ہے۔

Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.

اے بےپروا عورتو، اُٹھ کر میری بات سنو! اے بیٹیو جو اپنے آپ کو محفوظ سمجھتی ہو، میرے الفاظ پر دھیان دو!

Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.

ایک سال اور چند ایک دنوں کے بعد تم جو اپنے آپ کو محفوظ سمجھتی ہو کانپ اُٹھو گی۔ کیونکہ انگور کی فصل ضائع ہو جائے گی، اور پھل کی فصل پکنے نہیں پائے گی۔

Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.

اے بےپروا عورتو، لرز اُٹھو! اے بیٹیو جو اپنے آپ کو محفوظ سمجھتی ہو، تھرتھراؤ! اپنے اچھے کپڑوں کو اُتار کر ٹاٹ کے لباس پہن لو۔

They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.

اپنے سینوں کو پیٹ پیٹ کر اپنے خوش گوار کھیتوں اور انگور کے پھل دار باغوں پر ماتم کرو۔

Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:

میری قوم کی زمین پر آہ و زاری کرو، کیونکہ اُس پر خاردار جھاڑیاں چھا گئی ہیں۔ رنگ رلیاں منانے والے شہر کے تمام خوش باش گھروں پر غم کھاؤ۔

Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;

محل ویران ہو گا، رونق دار شہر سنسان ہو گا۔ قلعہ اور بُرج ہمیشہ کے لئے غار بنیں گے جہاں جنگلی گدھے اپنے دل بہلائیں گے اور بھیڑبکریاں چریں گی۔

Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

جب تک اللہ اپنا روح ہم پر نازل نہ کرے اُس وقت تک حالات ایسے ہی رہیں گے۔ لیکن پھر ریگستان باغ میں تبدیل ہو جائے گا، اور باغ کے پھل دار درخت جنگل جیسے گھنے ہو جائیں گے۔

Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.

تب انصاف ریگستان میں بسے گا، اور صداقت پھلتے پھولتے باغ میں سکونت کرے گی۔

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

انصاف کا پھل امن و امان ہو گا، اور صداقت کا اثر ابدی سکون اور حفاظت ہو گی۔

And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

میری قوم پُرسکون اور محفوظ آبادیوں میں بسے گی، اُس کے گھر آرام دہ اور پُرامن ہوں گے۔

When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.

گو جنگل تباہ اور شہر زمین بوس کیوں نہ ہو،

Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.

لیکن تم مبارک ہو جو ہر ندی کے پاس بیج بو سکو گے اور آزادی سے اپنے گائےبَیلوں اور گدھوں کو چَرا سکو گے۔
