O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

Pieśń psalmu samego Dawida.

Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

Gotowe jest serce moje, Boże! śpiewać i wysławiać cię będę, także i chwała moja.

I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

Ocućże się lutnio i harfo! gdy na świtaniu powstaję.

For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.

Wysławiać cię będę między ludźmi, Panie! a będęć śpiewał między narodami.

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

Albowiem większe jest nad niebiosa miłosierdzie twoje, i aż pod obłoki prawda twoja.

That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

Wywyszże się nad niebiosa, o Boże! a nad wszystkę ziemię chwała twoja.

God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

Niech będą wybawieni umiłowami twoi; zachowajże ich prawicą swoją, a wysłuchaj mię.

Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

Bóg mówił przez świętobliwość swoję; dlatego się weselić będę, że rozdzielę Sychem, a dolinę Sukkot rozmierzę.

Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

Mojeć jest Galaad, mój i Manases, a Efraim mocą głowy mojej, Juda zakonodawca mój.

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

Moab jest miednicą do umywania mego, na Edoma porzucę obuwie moje: przeciwko Filistynom trąbić będę.

Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?

Któż mię zaprowadzi do miasta obronnego? Któż mię przywiedzie aż do ziemi edomskiej?

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

Izali nie ty, o Boże! któryś nas był odrzucił, a nie wychodziłeś, o Boże! z wojskami naszemi?

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

Dajże nam pomoc z ucisku; albowiem omylna jest pomoc ludzka. W Bogu sobie mężnie poczynać będziemy, a on podepcze nieprzyjaciół naszych.
