Psalms 34

I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

(По слав. 33) Псалм на Давид, когато се престори на луд пред Авимелех, който го изгони, и той си отиде. Ще благославям ГОСПОДА по всяко време, прославата Му ще бъде винаги в устата ми.

My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

Душата ми ще се хвали в ГОСПОДА; смирените ще чуят и ще се зарадват.

O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Величайте ГОСПОДА с мен и нека заедно възвишаваме Името Му.

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Потърсих ГОСПОДА и Той ме послуша, и от всичките ми страхове ме избави.

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

Погледнаха към Него и засияха, и лицата им не се посрамиха.

This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

Този сиромах извика и ГОСПОД чу, и от всичките му скърби го избави.

The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Ангелът ГОСПОДЕН обгражда от всички страни онези, които Му се боят, и ги избавя.

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Вкусете и вижте, че ГОСПОД е благ; блажен човекът, който се уповава на Него!

O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Бойте се от ГОСПОДА, вие, Негови светии, защото за онези, които Му се боят, няма лишение.

The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

Лъвчета търпят нужда и глад, но онези, които търсят ГОСПОДА, няма да бъдат лишени от никое добро.

Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

Елате, вие, синове, послушайте ме; на страх от ГОСПОДА ще ви науча.

What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

Кой е човекът, който желае живот и обича дълги дни, за да види добро?

Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

Пазй езика си от зло и устните си от лъжливо говорене.

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

Отклонявай се от злото и върши добро, търси мира и го следвай!

The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

Очите на ГОСПОДА са към праведните и ушите Му — към техния вик.

The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

Лицето на ГОСПОДА е против онези, които вършат зло, за да отсече спомена им от земята.

The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Праведните викат и ГОСПОД чува, и от всичките им беди ги избавя.

The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

ГОСПОД е близо до съкрушените по сърце и спасява сломените по дух.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Много са неволите на праведния, но от всички тях ГОСПОД го избавя.

He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

Той пази всичките му кости, нито една от тях няма да се строши.

Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

Злото ще убие безбожния и които мразят праведния, ще бъдат осъдени.

The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

ГОСПОД изкупва душата на слугите Си; и от онези, които се уповават на Него, никой няма да бъде осъден.
