Psalms 33

Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

(По слав. 32) Ликувайте в ГОСПОДА, вие праведни; хвалението подобава на правите.

Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

Хвалете ГОСПОДА с арфа, пейте Му псалми с десетострунна лира.

Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

Пейте Му нова песен, свирете изкусно с радостно възклицание.

For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

Защото словото на ГОСПОДА е право и цялото Му дело — в истина.

He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

Той обича правда и правосъдие, земята е пълна с ГОСПОДНАТА милост.

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

Чрез словото на ГОСПОДА бяха направени небесата и цялото им войнство — чрез дъха на устата Му.

He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.

Той морските води събира като куп и бездните прибира в съдове.

Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

Нека се бои от ГОСПОДА цялата земя, нека се боят от Него всичките жители на света!

For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

Защото Той каза и стана; Той заповяда и се утвърди.

The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.

ГОСПОД събаря съвета на езичниците, осуетява плановете на народите.

The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

Съветът на ГОСПОДА пребъдва до века, мислите на сърцето Му — от поколение в поколение.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

Блажена онази нация, чийто Бог е ГОСПОД, народът, който Той е избрал за Свое наследство.

The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.

ГОСПОД гледа от небето, вижда всичките човешки синове.

From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

От мястото на обиталището Си Той гледа всички земни жители.

He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.

Този, който е създал сърцата на всички тях, внимава на всичките им дела.

There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

Царят не побеждава с много войска, силният не се избавя с голямо юначество.

An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

Конят е напразна надежда за спасение и не отървава с голямата си сила.

Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

Ето, окото на ГОСПОДА е върху онези, които Му се боят, върху онези, които се надяват на Неговата милост,

To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

за да избави душата им от смърт, в глад да ги запази живи.

Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.

Душата ни чака ГОСПОДА, Той е наша помощ и наш щит.

For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

Защото в Него ще се радва сърцето ни, понеже се уповавахме на Неговото свято Име.

Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Милостта Ти, ГОСПОДИ, нека бъде на нас, както на Теб се надявахме.
