Psalms 35

(По слав. 34) Псалм на Давид. Борй се, ГОСПОДИ, с онези, които се борят със мен; бий се против онези, които се бият против мен!

Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.

Вземи щит и броня и стани ми на помощ!

Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.

Извади и копие и затвори пътя срещу преследвачите ми; кажи на душата ми: Аз съм твоето спасение!

Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.

Нека се посрамят и опозорят онези, които търсят живота ми; нека се върнат назад и бъдат посрамени онези, които замислят зло против мен!

Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

Нека бъдат като плява пред вятъра и да ги гони Ангелът ГОСПОДЕН!

Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.

Нека пътят им бъде тъмен и хлъзгав и да ги преследва Ангелът ГОСПОДЕН!

Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.

Защото без причина скриха за мен мрежата си в яма, без причина копаха ров за душата ми.

For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.

Нека гибел неочаквано го връхлети и мрежата му, която скри, да улови самия него; нека падне в гибел!

Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.

А моята душа ще ликува в ГОСПОДА, ще се радва в спасението Му.

And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

Всичките ми кости ще кажат: ГОСПОДИ, кой е като Теб, който избавяш сиромаха от по-силния от него, сиромаха и бедния — от грабителя му?

All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?

Неправедни свидетели стават, питат ме за неща, които не зная.

False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.

Отплащат ми зло за добро, за да осиротее душата ми.

They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.

А когато те боледуваха, аз се обличах във вретище, смирявах с пост душата си и молитвата ми се връщаше в пазвата ми.

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.

Отнасях се като с приятел и брат, навеждах се скърбейки, като някой, който жалее за майка си.

I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.

Но те се зарадваха на препъването ми и се събраха — побойници, които не познавах, се събраха против мен; разкъсаха ме, без да спрат.

But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:

Като безбожни присмехулници на пиршество скърцаха със зъби против мен.

With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

Господи, докога ще гледаш? Избави душата ми от техните опустошения, едничката ми душа — от лъвовете.

Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.

Ще Те прославя в голямото събрание, ще Те хваля сред многоброен народ.

I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.

Да не тържествуват над мен онези, които без причина са ми врагове; нито с очи да намигат онези, които без повод ме мразят.

Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

Защото не говорят за мир, а против тихите на земята измислят лъжливи думи.

For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.

Отварят против мен устата си и казват: Охо, охо, очите ни видяха!

Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.

ГОСПОДИ, Ти видя, не мълчи! Господи, не бъди далеч от мен!

This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.

Стани и събуди се за правото ми; за делото ми, Боже мой и Господи мой!

Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.

Съди ме според правдата Си, ГОСПОДИ, Боже мой, и нека не ликуват над мен!

Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

Нека не кажат в сърцето си: Охо, желанието ни се сбъдна! Нека не кажат: Погълнахме го!

Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

Нека се посрамят и заедно се унижат онези, които се радват на нещастието ми! Нека се облекат със срам и позор онези, които се големеят против мен!

Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.

Нека ликуват и се радват онези, които желаят правдата ми, и винаги да казват: Нека ГОСПОД се възвеличи, който желае мира на слугата Си!

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

И езикът ми ще шепне за Твоята правда и за Твоята хвала всеки ден.

And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.
