Psalms 36

(По слав. 35) За първия певец. Псалм на ГОСПОДНИЯ слуга Давид. Беззаконието на безбожния говори вътре във сърцето ми. Пред очите му няма страх от Бога,

The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

защото той се ласкае в очите си, когато постигне беззаконието си, когато мрази.

For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

Думите на устата му са грях и измама, не иска да бъде разумен, да върши добро.

The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.

Замисля грях на леглото си, застава на недобър път, злото не мрази.

He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

ГОСПОДИ, милостта Ти е до небесата, верността Ти — до облаците;

Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

правдата Ти е като величествените планини; присъдите Ти са като голяма бездна; на човек и животно помагаш Ти, ГОСПОДИ!

Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

Колко е скъпоценна милостта Ти, Боже! И човешките синове прибягват под сянката на Твоите криле.

How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

Ще се наситят от тлъстината на дома Ти, ще ги напоиш от реката на Своите сладости.

They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

Защото у Теб е изворът на живота, в Твоята светлина ще видим светлина.

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

Простри милостта Си към онези, които Те познават, и правдата Си — към правите по сърце.

O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

Нека не ме стигне кракът на гордите и да не ме пропъди ръката на безбожните.

Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

Там паднаха онези, които вършат грях, бяха повалени и не можаха да станат.

There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
